GENERAL INFORMATION

Carefully read this use and maintenance manual, where

important information about installation, use and mainte-

nance safety is provided. Keep this manual for future re-

ference. Any installation operation (electric connections)

shall be performed by specialized personnel, in com-

pliance with all standards and regulations in force.

SAFETY WARNING

The use of flat-bottomed pots, with a diameter equal to

or slightly bigger than the heated area, is recommended.

(Fig.5).

Do not use pots that have a rough base, in order to pre-

vent the hob thermal surface from being scratched. This

appliance is not intended for use by children or infirm pe-

ople without supervision.

IMPORTANT

- Avoid the overflow of liquids by reducing the heat

supply when boiling or warming liquids.

- Do not leave any heating element switched on, if

there are no pots, or if the pots are empty.

- Once cooking is completed, turn the concerned

heating element off, by using the control shown

below.

- This appliance is not intended for use by people

(children included) with limited physical, sensorial

or mental abilities, or lacking of experience and

knowledge, unless they are supervised or well in-

structed about the use of the appliance, by a per-

son who is responsible for their safety.

- Children should be supervised to assure that they

do not play with the appliance.

- If the hob surface is cracked, turn the ap-

pliance off and disconnect it from the

electric network , so as to avoid the possibi-

lity of electric shock.

ELECTROMAGNETIC HAZARD

This appliance complies with safety and electromagne-

tic compatibility standards. Nevertheless, persons with

cardiac pacemakers or other electrical implants (such as

insulin pumps) must consult with their doctor or implant

manufacturer before using this appliance, in order to

make sure that their implants will not be affected by the

standard in force and that they do not generate any in-

terference, thus possibly preventing them from working

In addition, also persons with other types of devices , like

hearing aids, are likely to have some discomforts.

FAILURE HAZARD

This hob is equipped with a fan placed in its lower part.

Do not store small objects or pieces of paper in the

drawer found under the hob, since they could break the

fan and affect cooling in case they are sucked.

There must be a minimum distance of 2cm between the

drawer contents and the fan inlet (Fig. 2c)

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

These installation instructions are intended for a special-

ized installer and are meant as guidelines for the hob

installation, adjustment and maintenance, in compliance

with any regulations and standards in force. If a built-

in oven or any other appliance generating heat is to

be mounted directly under the vitro-ceramic hob, IT IS

NECESSARY THAT SUCH AN APPLIANCE (the oven)

AND THE VITRO-CERAMIC HOB ARE PROPERLY IN-

SULATED. Failure to comply with this precaution might

result in the incorrect operation of the TOUCH CON-

TROL system.

• Positioning:

This household appliance has been designed for built –in

installation onto a worktop, as shown in the figure (Fig.2a).

Use sealing material along the whole perimeter - Fig.4

(Cut dimensions- Fig.2a). This operation is necessary in

order to prevent any liquid from entering inside the hob,

being that the flatness of the top, the glass and their

coupling cannot be assured. Fix the appliance on the

worktop by using the 4 supports, taking the work top thi-

ckness into account (Fig.2b). If, after installation, the lower

part of the appliance is accessible from the lower part of

the cabinet, it will be necessary to mount a spacing panel

at the distances given (Fig.3). If the appliance is instal-

led under an oven, this step will not be necessary. The

appliance is not intended to be operated by an external

timer or a separate remote control system.

• connections (Fig.7):

Before carrying out any electric connections, please

make sure that:

- the ground electric cable is in Green-Yellow colour.

- the electrical system meets any requirement mentio-

ned in the rating label found on the underside of the

work top;

- the electrical system is equipped with an efficient

grounding system and compliant with any standards

and law directives in force.

The grounding system is required by law.

In the case the appliance is not equipped with a power

cord and/or the related plug, please use a material su-

itable for the power absorption value mentioned in the

rating label and for the operating temperature. If a direct

connection to the electric network is required, you need

to use an omnipolar power switch with a switch-contact

gap of at least 3 mm, suitable for the value mentioned

in the label, and compliant with the related standards in

force (the yellow/green ground connection shall not be

interrupted by the change-over switch).

Once the appliance installation is completed, the omni-

polar switch shall be easily accessible.

USE AND MAINTENANCE

• Maintenance (Fig.6):

Remove any food residue and grease drops from the

cooking surface, by using the special scraper provided

on request.

Clean the heated area in the best way possible, using su-

itable products and a paper towel, then rinse with water

and wipe away with a clean cloth.

Through the use of the special scraper (optional),

promptly remove any pieces of aluminum foil and plastic

material, which might have accidentally melted, or sugar

or food remains, and/or remains of sugary foods, from

the heated surface. In this way, any possible damage to

the surface is prevented.

The use of abrasive sponges or irritating chemical clea-

ners, such as sprays for ovens or cleaning agents is not

allowed under any circumstance.

• Use:

Use the touch control system in the corresponding posi-

tion according to individual cooking needs. Keep in mind

that the higher the number, the more heat is produced.

INDUCTION COOKING

• Advantages of induction cooking:

Induction cooking entails a radical change in the tradi-

tional way of heating, since heat is directly generated in

the cooking vessel. For this reason, it offers a series of

■Temperature and safety control ; thanks to the control

knob, the hob is switched on and off immediately. The in-

duction cooking zone stops producing heat if you remove

• INDUCTION COMPATIBLE COOKWARE:

Only ferromagnetic cookware is suitable for induction

cooking, and shall be made from the following materials:

■ enamelled steel

■ cast iron

You can check whether your cookware is induction com-

patible by carrying out a magnet test: if it is attracted, the

pan is suitable for induction cooking.

• NON-INDUCTION COMPATIBLE COOKWARE

Cookware made from the following materials is not sui-

table for induction cooking:

■ pure , standard stainless steel

■ glass

■ earthenware

■ copper

■ aluminium

• Cookware base:

The cookware base type can affect the homogeneity of

your cooking performance. Cookware made in materials

which allow even heat distribution, like stainless steel

‘sandwich ‘ cookware, can distribute heat evenly, thus

saving time and energy.

• No cookware or unsuitable cookware:

If you do not place any cookware on the selected cooking

zone, or if the cookware material or size in not suitable

for it, the cooking setting displayed in the zone indicator

in order to stop it. If you do not do it within 90 seconds,

the cooking zone will turn off automatically.

• Empty or thin base cookware :

Do not place any empty cookware on the hob while it

is functioning and do not use thin base cookware. Even

if the hob is equipped with a safety system , an empty

piece of cookware will heat up so rapidly that the ‘ au-

tomatic switch-off ‘ function cannot be activated in time,

thus causing the cookware to reach a very high tempe-

rature. In addition , the cookware base could melt down

and damage your hob. In such a case, do not touch the

cookware and switch the cooking zone off.

If the hob does not work properly after cooling down, ple-

ase contact our Technical Assistance Service.

• Cookware detection :

Each induction cooking zone has a cookware detection

minimum limit, which varies according to the material of

the cookware being used . For this reason, you should

use the cooking zone which is most suitable for the dia-

meter of the cookware you are going to use.

OPERATION

This model is equipped with two induction cooking zones-

which are detailed below.

Control Panel (Fig.1)

A-ON/OFF Key> switches the appliance on and/or off

B- Slider control zone > By “sliding” the finger on the

C-Booster > Booster as special cooking level: Booster can

be activated by sliding to the highest level or touching direct

to C position.

H-Pause/ Recall key> temporary pausing/recalling of the

D-Timer / - key> decreases the timer programmed time

E-Timer / + key> increases the timer programmed time

G-Lock Key> Turn on/off child safety lock.

• Switching the cooking top on:

Press A key to switch the cooktop on.

All the displays , relative to the cooking zones switch on

in the standby position .

The control unit remains active for 20 seconds.

If no cooking zone is selected within this time, the

cooking top switches off automatically.

• Turning Cooking Zones On:

slider area the cooking level can be increased or decreased.

F- Warm key> The warming function is used to keep

cooking process

If the touch control is already switched ON,a cooking zone

and cooking level can be selected at once by touching the

Slider Zone of the according cookingzone. By “sliding” the

finger on the slider area the cooking level can be increased

or decreased. This will be displayed on the bargraph accor-

ding to the position of the finger.

• Residual Heat:

If the temperature of the cooking zone is still high (over

50°) after it has been switched off, the relative display will

indicate the symbol (residual heat). The symbol will

only switch off when the burn risk in no longer present.

• Quick heating / Booster function ( Induction

zone):

Switching a single cooking zone OFF:

A single cooking zone can be switched OFF by directly

selecting cooking level “0”or through sliding down to“0”.

If a cooking zone is switched OFF but still hot the accor-

ding display will show “H”.

All inductive cooking zones have a booster function.

If the booster is activated the generator provides a

maximum power than to a cooking zone 3700W. The

booster function allows the user to heat up the food extr-

emely fast and hence can help to save time.

Booster function can be activated by pressing booster

funtion key and display show P. (Press key to

active the Booster Function).

The booster function of each cooking zone can be activ-

ated for a limited time of 10 minutes. After time out, the

cooking zone return to level 9.

To cancel the booster function by change the power

level or turn off the cooking zone.

• Warming function: By press F key

The warming function is used to keep cooked food warm.

Therefor the selected cooking zone is operated with a

low power output. If the warming function is activated

the according display shows U. Warming function supp-

ort for 3 levels of warming degree (40oC, 70oC and 90oC)

that correspondly with 3 illuminated leds.

To end the warming function by:

-press the warm key again or

-changing the power level by sliding the finger on slider bar.

• Heat up time automatic

The heat up time automatic function is a smart and very

useful for user to make well-done dishes.

The heat up time automatic can be activated for any coo-

king level from 1 -8 but not for special functions like boost-

er or warming function.

Activation:

Choose the required continuous cooking level and

hold it for 2,5 seconds ( for example: level 3 selected).

The heat up time automatically activated and will be

displayed alternately between “A“ and the selected contin-

uous cooking level( “3” ) on the 7-segment display.

To cancel the heat up time automatic function by changi-

ng the power level orturn off the cooking zone.

• Pause function (Select H key)

Pause function allows temporary pausing of the cook-

ing process, allowing the users to answer the door or the

telephone without worrying that the water is boiling over.

This function is also useful to clean the user interface sur-

face without changing the cooking set up.

Activating the Pause function:

When at least one cooking zone is in operation, the hob

may be switched to standby bypress the Pause key for 1s.

-Displays show and Pause indicator light on.

The pause mode can only be active for maximum 10 min.

If the pause mode is not deactivated within 10min the

control switches off automatically. During the pause pro-

cess, the ON/OFF button can be used to switch the

control off. In this case the pause mode is also deactivated.

Deactivating the pause mode:

In order to deactivate the pause mode by:

- Press the pause button again and

- Within in 10 sec, slide finger on the right cooking zone’s

sliderbar from right to left (slide from low to higher levels) to

deactivate the Pause.

• Operating the timer

1. Basics

The timer modulecontains up to 3timers. 2timer which can

be assigned for the cooking zones and 1 independent

timer called “egg-timer”. The three 7-segment displays

show the remaining time until thealarm is activated. All tim-

ers work as count down timers. The operation range is bet-

ween 1 min to 1h 59min. For remaining times less than

9 min 59sec the display is exact to the second.

Before activating a timer the control has to be switched on.

Switching the control off deactivates cooking zone related t

imers.

The “egg timer”stays active after switching the control off.

2. Activating Cooking Zone Timer

A Timer can be activated for each active cooking zone.

After selecting the timer by press simultaneously 2 timer+

and timer–keys( first time),the cooking zone( left zone)

Timer is selected and related luminous symbol is fully lighted.

The timer display shows “0.00”.

For the following 10 sec it is now possible to assign

a timer value to the active cooking zone. After 10sec wit-

hout input the timer function is deactivate and the display

is switched off again.

By pressing simultaneously timer+ and timer-keys again

( second time)(as long as no value was set),the right cook-

ing zoneTimer can be selected and related luminous symbol

is fully lighted.While the symbol of left cooking zone Timer

is half lighted. By pressing simultaneously timer+ and timer-

keys again( third time) (as long as no value was set), the

egg timer can be selectedand related luminous symbol is f

ully lighted.

Egg timer work as a count down timer for alarm purpose.

3. Setting a timer value

Pressing the Timer+keys,a timer value can be set. If the

Timer+ key is pressed first the display starts with 1min and

can beincreased in 1min steps. Pressing and hold the

keys permanently fastens up the timer adjustment. The

speed will also increase while the key is held.

Time setting Time Display

1min – 9min 59sec 9.59 ( 9 minutes 59 seconds)

10 – 59min 0.59 ( 0 hour 59 minutes)

1h – 1.59h 1.59 ( 1 hours 59 minutes)

4 Expiration of timer / timer alarm and acknowledgement

If a timer has expired the timer alarm is activated and the

assigned cooking zone is immediately switched off.

The cooking zone display shows “0“or “H“ and also the

bargraph indicates a hot surface if necessary.

If no user input stops the alarm signal it will be on for ma-

ximum 2 minutes.

The alarm can be deactivated by switching off the control

using the main switch or by pressing the two timer keys or

it will be deactivated automatically after 2 minutes.

5. Switching off a timer or changing the time setting

The timer value can be modified at any time by se-

lecting the timer and then by pressing the timer+ and

Timer- keys.

To stop an active timer the value can be set “0“.

In order to prevent a unwanted clearing of the timer the

timer will only be reset after a short period.

• Control Lock :

Controls can be locked in order to prevent any risk of

unintentional changes to the setting (children, cleaning

operations , etc.). By pressing the G key , the controls are

locked and the related pilot lamp will light up. To di-sable

the control lock and activate functions again (e.g. stop

cooking) you will need to press G key . When the control

lock is activated you can switch the hob off . In this case,

the control lock is still activated, even when the hob is swi-

tched on again.

• Switching the cooking top off:

To turn off the cooking top entirely hold down the A

key.

• Automatic safety off:

For each activated cooking zone a max. operating time is

definedin case the user forget. The max. operating time is

depending on the selected cooking stage (see below table).

After the expiration of the max. operating time the cooking

zone is automatically switched off.

Each actuation of the cooking zone status (changing the

cooking level etc.) resets the count-down timer to the initial

starting value.

Timer settings takes priority vs. operating time limitat-

ions for high cooking stage setting, i.e. the cooking zone

is deactivated, when the timer has expired and not when

this is requested by the automatic switch-off (e.g. timer 90

minutes to cooking stage 9).

DISPOSAL OF OLD HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES

The European Directive 2002/96/EC on Waste

Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), re

quires that old household appliances shall not be

disposed of in the standard urban solid waste

stream. Old appliances shall be collected separately in

order to optimize the recovery and recycling of the mate

rials they contain and reduce the impact on human heal

th and the environment. The crossed-out dustbin symbol

on the product reminds you of your obligation regarding

separated waste collection. Consumers should contact

their local public service or their local dealer for more in

formation on the correct disposal of old household ap

pliances.

Cuốn hướng dẫn sự dụng và bảo quản này, là tài liệu

CẢNH BÁO AN TOÀN

Khuyến khích việc sử dụng xoong nồi có đáy phẳng,

QUANG TRỌNG

- Tránh tràn chất lỏng ra bếp bằng cách điều chỉnh

giảm nhiệt khi sôi.

- Không bật bếp nếu không có xoong nồi cần nấu,

hoặc xoong nồi không có thức ăn.

- Khi việc nấu ăn hoàn tất, tắt tất cả các vùng nấu,

bằng cách sử dụng nút điều khiển trên bếp.

Thiết bị này không dành cho người tàn tật (kể cả trẻ

em), người tâm thần, hoặc thiếu kinh nghiệm và

kiến thức, trừ khi họ được giám sát hoặc được

hướng dẫn tốt về cách sử dụng thiết bị này bởi một

người có trách nhiệm về an toàn cho họ.

-Trẻ em phải được giám sát đễ đảm bảo rằng chúng

không chơi đùa với thiết bị này.

RỦI RO

Thiết bị bếp được lắp đặt bên dưới bằng quạt giải nhiệt.

Không để vật nhỏ hoặc giấy bên dưới hộc kéo ngay dưới

bếp đề tránh làm bể gãy quạt hoặc ảnh hưởng hoạt động

của quạt và ảnh hưởng tới việc làm mát của thiết bị.

Khoảng cách tối thiếu của hộc kéo, hoặc tủ là 20mm tới

mặt dưới của bếp hình 2c (Fig.2c).

HƯỚNG DẪN LẮP ĐẶT

Hướng dẫn lắp đặt này được sử dụng cho người có chu-

-yên môn, và là cẩm nang cho việc lắp đặt và bảo trì phù

hợp với các tiêu chuẩn hiện hành. Nếu ngay bên dưới bếp

có lắp đặt lò nướng (oven) hoặc thiết bị khác có tạo ra nhiêt.

Thì các thiết bị này cần thiết phải tuân thủ tiêu chuẩn

giải nhiệt (Lò nướng phải có quạt giải nhiệt).

Không tuân thủ các biện pháp phòng ngừa này có thể dẫn

đến hoạt động không chính xác của hệ thống điều khiển

cảm ứng của bếp.

• Vị trí lắp đặt:

Thiết bị gia dụng này được thiết kế để lắp đặt âm, với kích

thước cắt lổ như trong hình 2a (Fig. 2a). Sử dụng roan dọc

theo toàn bộ chu vi - Hình 4 (Fig.4), việc này là cần thiết để

ngăn chặn bất kỳ chất lỏng nào xâm nhập vào bên trong bếp.

Cố định thiết bị bếp bằng cách sử dụng 4 bộ ốc vít bên dưới

-Hình 2b (Fig.2b). Nếu, sau khi lắp đặt, phần dưới của thiết bị

bị trống ở phần dưới của tủ, cần thiết có thể gắn một vách

tạo khoảng cách an toàn - hình 3 (Fig.3). Nếu bên dưới thiết

bị được đặt bởi một lò nướng, bước này sẽ không cần thiết.

Thiết bị này không dùng bộ đếm thời gian bên ngoài

hoặc hệ thống điều khiển từ xa riêng biệt.

• (Hình 7- Fig.7):

Trước khi thực hiện bất kỳ kết nối điện, hãy chắc chắn

rằng:

- Dây chống đất là dây có 02 màu Xanh lá cây - Vàng

(Green-Yellow)

- Hệ thống điện phải đáp ứng yêu cầu về công suất và

nhãn được dán ở mặt dưới của thiết bị bếp.

- Hệ thống điện được trang bị bởi hệ thống nối đất hiệu quả

và phù hợp với bất kỳ tiêu chuẩn, quy định về an toàn và

có giá trị pháp luật.

Hệ thống chống đất là cần thiết theo quy định của pháp luật.

Trong trường hợp thiết bị không được trang bị bởi phích cắm,

thì thiết bị có thể kết nối điện trực tiếp với mạng điện nhưng

cần thiết phải sử dụng một công tắc nguồn đa cực (PCB) với

một khoảng cách ít nhất là 3 mm, phù hợp với các giá trị được

đề cập trong nhãn, và phù hợp với các tiêu chuẩn liên quan có

hiệu lực (dây chống đất sẽ không bị ngắt bởi việc tắt mở

công tắc nguồn).

Vị trí công tắc nguồn phải dễ dàng cho việc tắt mở sau khi

hoàn tất việc lắp đặt.

SỬ DỤNG VÀ BẢO QUẢN

• Bảo quản (Hình 6-Fig.6):

Loại bỏ bất kỳ dư lượng thức ăn và dầu mỡ từ bề mặt bếp,

bằng cách sử dụng xủi gọt/nạo chuyên dụng theo yêu cầu.

Làm sạch/vệ sinh vùng nấu còn đang nóng sau khi nấu là tốt

tạo ra cao hơn.

NẤU BẾP TỪ

•

Lợi ích của việc nấu bếp từ:

Việc nấu ăn bằng bếp từ đã tạo ra sự thay đổi cơ bản so

với việc nấu ăn truyền thống, vì nhiệt tạo ra là trực tiếp

ở mặt bếp. Vì vậy sẽ mang đến những lợi ích sau:

■ Tiết kiệm thời gian nấu ăn vì nhiệt truyền trực tiếp lên đáy

nồi và bếp cung cấp nhiệt nhanh.

■ Tiết kiệm năng lượng - tiết kiêm chi phí.

■Kiểm soát nhiệt độ và độ an toàn, nhờ vào hệ thống

điều khiển cảm ứng bếp được bật tắt một cách nhanh

chóng và dễ dàng. Vùng nấu từ sẽ ngừng cung cấp nhiệt

ngay sau khi nhất xoong nồi khỏi mặt bếp mà không

cần phải tắt vùng nấu trước.

• NỒI TƯƠNG THÍCH CHO BẾP TỪ

Chỉ sử dụng nồi chuyên dùng cho bếp từ cơ bản từ những

vật liệu sau:

■ Bằng thép tráng men

■ Bằng gang

• NỒI KHÔNG TƯƠNG THÍCH CHO SỬ DỤNG BẾP TỪ:

Những loại nồi chảo được làm bằng vật liệu sau là không

tương thích cho bếp từ:

■ Thép không gỉ nguyên chất

■ Bằng thủy tinh.

■ Bằng gốm, đất nung.

■ Bằng đồng.

■ Bằng nhôm.

• Chọn loại nồi:

Việc chọn loại nồi phù hợp có ảnh hưởng đến hiệu suất

nấu ăn. Nếu loại nồi được chọn có khả năng phân bố

nhiệt tốt và đồng đều sẽ giúp việc nấu ăn nhanh chóng

và hiệu quả, do đó tiết kiệm được thời gian và năng

lượng.

Nếu không đặt bất kỳ dụng cụ nấu trên vùng nấu được

lựa chọn, hoặc nếu vật liệu dụng cụ nấu hoặc kích cỡ

trong không phù hợp với vùng nấu, bảng hiển thị trên bếp

sẽ bắt đầu nhấp nháy. Do đó cần phải sử dụng dụng cụ

nấu tương thích để thực hiện việc nấu ăn. Nếu sau 90

giây không đặt đúng nồi tương thích, bếp sẽ tự động tắt.

• Nồi trống hoặc nồi mỏng:

• Chức năng phát hiện nồi:

Mỗi vùng nấu từ có chức năng phát hiện nồi tương thích

tùng theo vật liệu và đường kính tối thiểu của nồi. Vì lý do

đó nên sử dụng nồi tương thích cả về vật liệu và đường

kính cho từng vùng nấu.

HOẠT ĐỘNG:

Thiệt bị bếp này được trang bị hai vùng nấu từ “Induction”,

được trình bày như dưới đây.

■ Dễ dàng vệ sinh - thức ăn rơi vải không dễ dàng bị cháy.

■ Bằng thép không gỉ chuyên dụng cho bếp từ.

Ngoài ra ,có thể kiểm tra nồi chảo có tương thích với bếp từ hay không

bằng cách dùng thanh nam châm để thử nghiệm: nếu nó thu hút được

thì nồi chảo là phù hợp cho việc nấu trên bếp từ.

Không đặt bất kỳ nồi chảo trống (không có thức ăn, chất

lỏng) trên bếp trong khi nó đang hoạt động và không sử

dụng nồi mỏng. Mặt dù bếp được trang bị hệ thống an

toàn, khi sử dụng nồi trống sẽ làm cho nồi nóng lên quá

nhanh và chức năng tắt tự động không thể đáp ứng kịp

thời, do đó dụng cụ nấu sẽ tăng nhiệt lên rất cao, và có

khả năng bị nóng chảy và làm hỏng bếp và dụng cụ nấu.

Trong trường hợp này, không được chạm vào nồi, mà

nên tắt vùng nấu ngay lập tức.

Nếu bếp sau khi tắt và để nguội mà vẫn không hoạt động

G-Lock Key>Mở khóa bảng điều khiển / Khóa an toàn trẻ em.

• Chọn từng vùng nấu

-Trong khi bếp đang được bật, từng vùng nấu sẽ được chọn

bằng cách chạm tay trên thanh điều khiển của từng vùng

nấu.

-Mức công suất điều chỉnh từ 0 đến 9, Booster P và hiển thị

trên màn hình led tương ứng.

Khi đó bảng hiển thị sẽ hiện thị tất cả các vùng nấu ở chế

độ chờ “ Standby” .

Bộ điều khiển vẫn hoạt động trong 20 giây. Nếu vùng nấu

không được lựa chọn trong thời gian này, bếp sẽ tự động

tắt.
