Removing Collected Water
There are 2 ways to remove collected water:
1
Use the continuous drainage option from the bottom hole.
1.
■Drainsas follows.
2.
During cooling or drying operations, condensed water will drain to the chassis and
be spattered as it strikes the motor. As the condenser is hot, most of this
condensation will evaporate and drain to the outdoors on its own. Very little
condensed water will accumulate inside the chassis, so you will not need to
discharge the water frequently.
drainage port
Once the chassis is full of water, the unit will buzz 8 times and the "H8" code will
display to remind you to discharge the water:
Move the unit to a suitable place for discharging water. Keep the unit horizontal
when moving; do not tilt.
Remove the rubber plug at the drainage port to discharge the water.
Put the rubber plug back into the drainage port after the water has drained out.
The H8 display will disappear. Once the compressor has been stopped for 3
minutes, the unit will resume operation.

1.
2. Screw the drain connector (included)
to the spout by turning it clockwise.
3. Insert the drainage hose into the
drain connector.
Removing Collected Water
Note:Water can be automatically emptied into a floor drain by attaching a 14mm
inner diameter hose (not included).
Use the continuous drainage option from the middle hole
ATTENTION:
When using the continuous drainage option from the middle hole, place the unit
on a level surface and make sure your garden hose is clear of any obstructions
and is directed downward. Placing the unit on an uneven surface or failing to
attach the hose properly may result in water filling up the chassis, which will
cause the unit to shut off. If this occurs, empty the water in the chassis and
check to make sure that both the unit and the hose are properly set up.
25
2
Remove the continuous drain cap (1) by turning it counterclockwise, then remove
the rubber stopper (2) from the spout.
