Adaptor:
1. MounttheTINYAUDIOC5In‐CarDAB+Radioadaptortothedashboard
usingtheprovidedadhesiveholder.
2. ConnectoneendoftheUSBpowersupplycabletoMicroUSBpower
socketatthebackofTINYAUDIOC5andtheotherendtodualUSBcar
charger.PlugthedualUSBcarchargertothecarcigar‐lightersocket.
3. Connecttheantennatotheantennajack.ATTENTION!Properantenna
installationisveryimportantforagoodreceptionresult.Seetipspage
15.
4. Turnonthepowerwiththe“POWERSWITCH”andthedisplaywillshow
“TinyAudio”logo,thenthedevicewillautomaticallyscanallthelocal
DAB/DAB+channelsandstoretheminthememoryofthedeviceuntil
another“AutoScan”isperformed.Duringscanning,ascanmovingbar
willbeshowninthedisplaytoindicatetheprogressandthetotal
numberofchannelsreceived.
5. Oncethescaniscompleted,youcanselectanyDAB/DAB+radio
channelwiththe“ROTARYENCODER”.

cable
1. Pressandhold“MENU”buttontoentermenumode,use“ROTARY
ENCODER”tosearchfor“AudioOut”andconfirmbypressing“ROTARY
ENCODER”.Use“ROTARYENCODER”toselect“Line‐OUT”andconfirm
bypressing“ROTARYENCODER”andexitmenu.Aheadphoneicon“ ”
willbedisplayedatthetopofthebluebar.

2. Connectyourcaraudiostereospeaker“Aux‐in”or“Line‐in”tothe
“LINEOUT”jackatthebottomofTINYAUDIOC5withtheprovided
3.5mmaudiocable.
Remark:In“LineOut”mode,therewillbenoFMtransmissiontothe
carstereo.
ConnectingtheTinyAudioC5toyourcarstereousingFM‐transmission
‐‐SelectFMTransmittingFrequency(AutoMode):
1. Pressandhold“MENU”buttontoentermenumode,use“ROTARY
ENCODER”tosearchfor“AudioOut”and“FMTransmitterOut”and
confirmbypressing“ROTARYENCODER”againtoexitmenu.
2. Shortpress“FREQ/SF”buttontoshowFMtransmittingfrequency
(TXFREQ)andthenlongpressfor3secondstoactivatethe
automaticscanningofa“vacant”FMtransmissionfrequency
withoutinterferencewithotherchannels.Thescanningprocesswill
take20‐30secondstoscanthefrequencyautomaticallywitha
flashingdisplayof“‐‐‐.‐MHZ”andstopata“vacant”frequency.
3. Aftera“vacant”frequencyisfound,press“ROTARYENCODER”
buttonagaintoconfirmandexitsettingoritwillautomatically
confirmandexitthesettingafter3seconds.Theselected“vacant”
frequency(TXFREQ)willbeshownatthetopofthebluebar,e.g.
TX108.0MHz
4. ThentuneyourcarFMradiosystemtomatchtheselected“vacant”
frequency(TXFREQ)fortransmissionoftheaudiosignalfromTINY
AUDIOC5toyourcarstereoaudiosystem.

selectionmode,
2. Thenuse“ROTARYENCODER”toselectyourfavoritevacant
frequency(basedonyourpastexperiencewithknownvacant
frequenciesinyourarea)whichyouwouldliketoreceivebyyour
carradio.
3. Onceitisselected,press“ROTARYENCODER”toconfirmandexit
orthescreenwillgobacktoDAB+modeautomaticallyafter3
secondsandtheselectedfrequencywillbeshownatthetopofthe
bluebar,e.g.TX108.0MHz.
Remarks:
“Vacantfrequency”meansthereisnoFMradiobroadcastingcontentornoise
whenthefrequencyisselected.
SearchandselectDAB/DAB+channels:
1. Pressthe“MODE”buttonuntil“DAB+Radio”modeisfound
2. Use“ROTARYENCODER”toselectthedesiredDAB/DAB+channel
3. Orin“DAB+Mode”,shortpress“MENU”buttontoenterPreview
Mode,use“ROTARYENCODER”toscrollupordowntoselectthe
desiredDAB+channelandpress“ROTARYENCODER”buttonagainto
select.
4. Youmayalsopressandholdthe“MENU”buttontoentermenuand
select“DABAutoscan”byusing“ROTARYENCODER”tore‐activate
the“AutoScan”processifyouneedtoupdatetheDAB+radio
channels.
Remark:Fornormaluse,youdon’thavetoperformthe“DABAutoscan”
everytimeyouusethecarDAB+radiounlesstherearenewlyaddedDAB+

channels,thenyoumayneedtoperformthe“DABAutoscan”again.The
scanningoperationissimilartoyourhomeTVset.

2. Pressandholdanyoftheselectednumericbuttons(1‐10)tostore
yourfirstfavoritepresetDAB+stations.Repeatthesameprocedure
forotherfavoriteDAB+stationsandnumericbuttons.
Youmayprogramandstoremorethan10favoriteDAB+presetstations
byusingthefollowingprocedure:
1. ToselectafavoriteDAB+stationusing“ROTRAYENCODER”,
2. Pressandhold“PRESET”buttonfor3secondstoenter“MEMORY”
mode
3. Use“ROTARYENCODER”toscrollupordowntoselectanumberin
memorytostoreyourfavoritestation,
4. Press“ROTARYENCODER”toconfirmandexit“PRESET”mode.A
message“StoredSuccessfully”willbedisplayed.

TorecallyourfavoriteDAB+presetstations,
1. InDABmode,shortpressanynumericbuttons(1‐10)onthetopof
thedevicetorecallyourfavoriteDAB+presetstation
2. Orshortpress“PRESET”buttontoenterpresetpreviewmodeto
showallthepresetDAB+stationsanduse“ROTRAYENCODER”to
scrollupordowntorecallaPresetStationandconfirmbypressing
“ROTARYENCODER”.
