Recover Refrigerant

NNoottee In the USA, EPA Section 608 Certification is

required to work on refrigeration systems. In the

EU, local F-gas Regulations must be observed

when working on refrigeration systems.

At Thermo King®, we re ognize the need to preserve

the environment and limit the potential harm to the

ozone layer that an result from allowing refrigerant to

es ape into the atmosphere.

We stri tly adhere to a poli y that promotes the

re overy and limits the loss of refrigerant into the

atmosphere.

When working on transport temperature ontrol

systems, a re overy pro ess that prevents or minimizes

refrigerant loss to the atmosphere is required by law. In

addition, servi e personnel must be aware of the

appropriate European Union, National, Federal, State,

and/or Lo al regulations governing the use of

refrigerants and ertifi ation of te hni ians. For

additional information on regulations and te hni ian

used. Proper re overing, storing and re y ling of

refrigerants is an important part of all servi e work.

SSeerrvvii ee PPrroo eedduurreess - Re ommended pro edures must

be used to minimize refrigerant loss.

valves and performing system pump-downs.

be repaired only after refrigerant is properly re overed.
