NOTE
1) Non mettere insieme batterie nuove con vecchie o batterie di
tipo differente. Ciò può essere causa di malfunzionamento.
2) Se non si usa il telecomando per un lungo periodo le bat-
terie devono essere tolte per evitare danni causati da even-
tuali perdite.
3) Le batterie hanno una durata media di circa sei mesi.
4) Le batterie vanno sostituite quando non si riceve alcun “bip”
dall’unità interna o se l’indicatore di trasmissione sul
telecomando non si accende.
NOTES

2) If you do not use the remote control more than two weeks,
remove the batteries. Damages may be caused by possible
leakages.
3) During normal use the average life of battery is six months.
4) Replace batteries when no “beep” is received from the indoor
unit or if the transmission indicator on the remote control fails
to light.

diretta il climatizzatore puo’ non funzionare correttamente.
Usare le tende a protezione del ricevitore.

* Keep the remote control where its signal
can reach the receiver of the indoor
unit; a distance of 7 meters is allowed.
* When you select the TIMER operation
the remote control automatically trans-
mits a signal to the indoor unit at the
specified time.
* If you keep the remote control in a posi-
tion that hinders a proper signal trans-
mission, a time lag of up to 15 minutes
may occurr.
Dove posizionare il telecomando
* Inviare i segnali dal telecomando entro
un raggio di 7 metri dal ricevitore dell'
unità interna. Un avviso acustico "du"
ne indica l'avvenuta ricezione.
* Se si seleziona la modalità TIMER il
telecomando trasmette automatica-
mente il segnale all’unità interna nell’
orario prefissato.
* Se si tiene il telecomando in una
posizione che ostacola la trasmissione
del segnale può trascorrere un ritardo
anche di 15 minuti prima dell’accensione.
CAUTIONS
* The air conditioner will not operate if curtains, doors or
other materials block the signals from the remote control
to the indoor unit.
* Prevent any liquid from falling into the remote control.
* Do not expose the remote control to direct sunlight or heat.
* If the infra-red signal receiver on the indoor unit is exposed
to direct sunlight the air conditioner may not function properly.
Use curtains to prevent the sunlight from falling on the receiver.
* If other electrical appliances react to the remote control either
move these appliances or consult your local dealer.
Sostituzione delle batterie
Usare due batterie alcaline tipo AM4 1,5 V.
1) Rimuovere il coperchio del compartimento delle batterie facendolo scivolare nella direzione della freccia.
2) Rimuovere le batterie vecchie e inserire le nuove facendo attenzione ad allineare correttamente le polarità (+) e (-).
Solo per telecomando R11:
3) Dopo la sostituzione premere il pulsante di RESET nel vano batterie.
4) Accertarsi che nell’ orologio sul display compaia “0:00” e che i relativi due punti stiano lampeggiando.
5) Rihiudere il coperchio del vano batterie e impostare l’orologio sul telecomando.
Replacing batteries
The remote control uses two AM4 1,5 V alkaline dry batteries.
1) Remove the batteries compartment cover of the remote control by sliding it down in the arrow directon.
2) Remove the old batteries and insert the new ones paying attention to the (+) and (-) polarity.
Only for R11 remote controller:
3) After the replacement push the RESET button in the batteries compartment.
4) Check if the clock panel on the remote control displays “0:00” and if the colon is flashing.
5) Close the compartment cover and set the remote control clock.
