Cleaning and care
Do not wash the appliance with jets
of water because if water enters the electric
components it could lead to a malfunction.
Cleaning operations must only be
carried out once the appliance has cooled.
Only use products that are food safe.
Use personal protective equipment
(PPE) when cleaning.
Keeping the appliance clean is very important for a long and
trouble-free product life. Wash the removable parts separately in
warm water and detergent, then rinse them with running water.
Do not use harsh or abrasive detergents to clean the stainless
steel parts. Iron cleaning pads should not be used as they may
cause rust to form. For the same reason, avoid contact with
ferrous materials. When cleaning, avoid using abrasive paper or
cloth; for stubborn deposits, use a sponge (e.g. Scotch-Brite). You
can also use oven and grill cleaning sprays, readily available on
the market, to remove stubborn deposits. If you use spray
products, please follow the manufacturer’s instructions. To
minimise emissions of polluting substances into the environment,
clean the appliance with products that are at least 90%
biodegradable. If the appliance will remain inactive for a
prolonged period of time, clean it then apply a thin layer of
protector spray (widely available on the market) to the external
surfaces.
What to do in case of malfunctioning
Malfunctions are not always due to the quality of the
components used. These appliances are manufactured using top
quality components. Malfunctions may be caused by voltage
surges or by infiltrations of dust and/or dirt.
In the event of abnormal operation,
disconnect the appliance from the mains
and contact the authorised repair service.
Unauthorised persons should never
attempt to repair the appliance, or carry out
maintenance. Tampering with the
appliance invalidates the warranty.
Maintenance
The appliances do not require any special maintenance other than normal cleaning.
The appliance should be checked once a year by a repair service. Please stipulate a maintenance contract.
