External method for media cleaning
(every 3 - 4 months)
Ion-exchange cleaning (regeneration)
1. Prepare a container or bucket and put it right under the
ion-exchange resin column
2. Remove the end cap nut at the bottom of the ion-exchange
resin column
3. After emptying the media into the bucket, drain some
water out of the bucket.
4. Mix 25 - 50 g of salt into the mixture and wait for at least 30
minutes.
5. Clean the ion-exchange resin with clean tap water
