General Informaon:

• Itisrecommendedtorinseyourwatchwithfreshwateraercontactwithsaltwater.

• Itisrecommendednottousethecrownorpushersifthewatchiswetand certainly not

while it is immersed in water.

• Waterresistantwatchesshouldbeinspectedandservicedonceayear.

Helpful Watch Tips:

• A Quartz Watchisbaerypoweredanddoesnotrequirewinding.Eventuallythebaery

willneedtobereplaced.

• An Automac Watchisamechanicalwatchthatwindsitselfanddoesnotrequireabaery.

Whenworndaily,themovementofyourwristcausesthemainspringtowindprogressively,

eliminangtheneedforaddionalwinding.Tostartyourautomac,youcanhandwindit

byrotangthecrownclockwiseanumberofturnswhileinitsnormaloperangposion

(screwdowncrownswillneedtobeunscrewedrst),orbyswingingitsidetosidefor30

seconds.Werecommendhousinganautomacinawatchwinderbox.

• A Manual Wind Watchisamechanicalwatchthatdoesnotrequireabaery,butcanonly

bewoundbyhand.Towindit,turnthecrownclockwisewhileitisinitsnormaloperang

posionunlyoufeelresistance.Thistypeofwatchshouldbewounddaily.

• For Automac and Mechanicalwatches,itisstronglyrecommendedtoavoidadjusng

thedate,month,yearoranyotherfunconsbetween9PMto2AM.Also,mostautomac

andmechanicalwatchesshouldnotbewornwhiledoingsportsorgolngacvitydueto

possibleshockdamagetothemechanismsinsidethemovements.

• ManySwissLegendwatchesareequippedwithascrewdowncrowntohelpprevent

waterinltraon.Forwatcheswithascrewdown,youmustrstgentlyrotatethecrown

counter-clockwiseunlitspringsout.Thecrownmustthenbegentlypulledouttothe

appropriateposionformeordateseng.

• Nevercorrectdatebetween9:00PMand1:00AM.

• Itisveryimportantaersengyourwatchthatyougentlypushinandscrewdownthe

crownrmlytoensurewaterresistance.

• Notscrewingdownthecrownwillcausewaterdamageandvoidwarranty.

Time Seng For Models without Calendar and Crown

• Toadjustmepushbuonislocatedonthecaseback.

• Pushconnuallyforquicksengandpushstepbysteptoadjusttheminute.

Important Note:

It is very important a er

adjus ng the date and

se ng the  me on your

watch that you gently

push in and screw down

the crown  rmly to

ensure water resistance.

Not doing so will void

warranty.

• Gentlyunscrewcrowncounter-clockwiseand/orpulloutthecrowntoPosion2.

• Turnthecrownunlthepreviewdaysdateappearsinthecalendarframe.

• PulloutthecrowntoPosion3,andadvancethehourandtheminutehandsunlthe

desireddateappears.

(Please set  me according to AM or PM).

• Adjustthemebyturningthecrowninthedesireddirecon.

• Gentlypushinand/orscrewdownthecrownclockwisebackintoNormalPosion.

Note: For best accuracy when se ng your  mepiece. If your watch has three hands, gently pull out the crown

when the second hand points at the 12 o’clock or “00” seconds.
