INSTALLING THE
CHIMNEY SYSTEM
Step
1:
Check flue damper for
proper operation. When the
damper is in a closed posi-
,tion, the damper blade should
be UP and the damper control
lever pushed all the way to
the rear of the firebox. When
the damper is open, the dam-
per blade is DOWN and dam-
per control lever is pulled ail
the way to the front of firebox.

openings for chimney route
up through ceiling(s) and roof
or through outside chase.
Framing must maintain ade-
quate support at all times.
