Procedure – Changing Paper Rolls

1. Always use 79.5mm paper rolls.

2. Pull the cover open lever (Figure 2) in the direction of the arrow to open the paper

cover.

3. Set the paper roll in the hollow, with the feed coming from under, rather than over

the roll (Figure 3) & pull the leading edge of the paper out & place it over the edge

of the cutter strip. Note that if fed incorrectly the receipt will print blank.

4. Firmly close the printer cover by pushing down on both side of the cover.

Troubleshooting – Paper Jams

1. If a paper jam occurs, switch off the power to the printer prior to opening

the cover.

2. Open the printer cover & remove any jammed paper.

3. Reseat the paper roll & ensure the paper is correctly positioned &

undamaged.

4. Close the printer cover & turn on the power.

5.

Note it is important that to prevent damage to the print heads or the printer feed

rollers you do not forcibly pull the paper when the printer cover is closed.
