wetormoistsurfacesthemowedslope should
notexceed 20degrees.
Beforeoperatingthemachine,make sureyou
removefrom themowing area all loose stones,
sticks,glass,wire,bones,branchesandallother
objects thatcanbe pickedupbytheblades and
thrown or thatcould damagethe mower.
Whileoperatingthemoweravoid obstacles,do
notdriveover higher obstacles (suchas stones,
stumps,brick), near precipices,onunstablesoil
or inplaceswhere the mowercouldfalldownor
flip over.
Whenoperatingpayattentiontoelectricpower
linesespeciallywhen drivingbeneath electric
wireswheretheradiosignalmaybe lost.Insuch
case themower immediatelyshutsoffthe internal
combustionengineandstops allmovements.
Whenusing themachinenear busy
thoroughfaresmakesurethatthemowerdoes
notendanger (bythrowingundesirableobjects)
passers-byor their property. Choosea suitable
workingprocedure(seechapter:Operatingthe
mower).
The operator/user is responsible for the
safety of persons that enter the working area
of the machine. Stop your work if these
persons enter the working area.
Thetransportationofpersons, animalsor loads
onthe mower is prohibited.
Donot placeanyobjectsortoolsontheproduct.
Whileoperating,especiallyin windyconditions,
choose the operator’s position carefullysoasto
keeptheoperator awayfrom the stream of
exhaustgas,dustormulchedgrass.
Stop work andcleanthemachineand itscooling
surfaces severaltimes while working in dusty
conditions to avoid over-heatingduring operation.
Ifnecessary,cleanthemachineandits cooling
surfacesseveral times while working.Thedust
layermust not exceed1m (3ft).
Refuel only when the machine is off –before
operating, if possible –and the fuel tank is
cold. Always keep at least 30% of the fuel in
the tank. If you need to refuel during your work,
do not fill the fuel into a hot tank or while the
engine is stillhot. Let the machine cool down.
Before refuelling pushthe STOPbutton on the
control panel of the mower.
Neverrefuel while the engine is running.
Do not start the engine if youfind spilled fuel,
open vessels with fuel or other combustible
objects or gases in the immediate proximity of
themower.
Do not refuel nearopen fire.
Do not place this product near open fire or other
sources of heat.
While operating or immediatelyaftershutting
themachine off do not touch those parts of the
machinethat heat up during operation. This
concerns mainly theengine exhaust pipe, metal
parts of the hydraulic drive and metal partsof
the internal combustion engine.
While operating do not touch the highvoltage
conductor leading to the sparking plug.
Afterstartingthe engine, test the correct
functioning of the emergency engine stop on
theradio transmitter. This function shouldbe
checked at least once during everyshift and
every time you enter a new area for mowing or
mulching.
Before starting your work test the correct
functioning of thesafetycomponents
(EMERGENCY STOP...) on themower and the
RC.
Never leave the enginerunning without
supervision.
If the engine is running, do not put aside the
transmitter and do nottouch or move any parts
of the machine.
Always stop the engine when leaving the
machine, secure it against starting by pushing
thered EMERGENCY STOP button on the
control panel of mower and by removing the
key. Never leave the transmitter next to the
mower, but put it in a different, properlysecured
placeinaccessibletothird persons.
Do not engage the mowing blade until
immediatelybefore mowing.

While operating, avoid mole-hills, concrete
bases, guard-stones, stumps, loose stones and
curbs. These must not come into direct contact
with the blade as they could cause serious
damage. These may also compromise the
mower stability.
