Snowie Block Shaver
Proper cleaning is an important task to ensure sanitary conditions are main-
tained.The materials required are: washing rags and scrub brush, soap so-
lution, rinse water, and sanitizing solution (bleach or other approved solution).
Correct cleaning steps for all surfaces include washing with soap, rinsing off
soap with plenty of clean water, sanitizing, and allowing to air dry. Carefully
inspect and clean the following:
External surfaces including:
Power wire
Foot pedal
Air pressure switch and hose
Drip pan and cup holder
Ice cabinet and covers
Snow exit chute
Snow catch flap
Drip pan hose
Remove drip pan hose and clean inter-
nal hose surface by pouring solutions
through the hose.
Dissemble Ice Cabinet for access to the
internal areas:
Ice foot
Actuators
Ice pressure flaps
Remove blade protective components
Blade housing
Paddle wheel
NOTE: The paddle wheel can be
removed by an abrupt horizontal
clock-wise blow with a rubber mallet (or
similar) to the flat paddle wheel edge.
This will allow the paddle wheel to be
unscrewed from the motor threads. Do
not unscrew bolts from Paddle Wheel.

This section is for internal components.
Be careful that no internal components
are damaged or any wires loosened.
Lay the shaver on the back surface for
access to clean:
Shaver foot rests and support bars
Inside motor case surfaces

Remove ice block, raise Ice Foot and then disconnect power source.
Once the cleaning and
sanitizing has been accom-
plished, reassemble the
shaver using the reverse
steps used to prepare the
shaver for cleaning.
Follow the blade change
instructions to ensure the
blade is correctly assem-
bled for safe use.
Ensure no parts are left
over after reassembling the
Shaver prior to powering up
for a test.

ent-pending designs (including ice cabinet and guides,

Technical Dimensions: The standard Snowie Block Shaver
Blade Dimensions: The Snowie Block Shaver blade is 10.25
inches in diameter. It is mounted by three bolts. The blade
can be rotated up to three times for a fresh blade surface be-
fore replacement.
Ice Block Dimensions: The Snowie Block Shaver will accept
both solid-clear block ice (best shaved snow results) and com-
pressed ice-cube block ice up to a maximum 6 inches deep by
6 inches wide by 12 inches tall (6x6x12).
