HOW TO OPERATE
1. Before rst use, wipe down all surfaces with damp cloth.
2. Find a dry, suitable, level surface near an electrical outlet.
3. The cooking plates should be lightly coated with a small
amount of vegetable oil. Vegetable oil can be applied with
a paper towel, brush or nonstick oil spray. The oil will help
protect the nonstick quality of the cooking surface. This
should be done periodically to maintain the nonstick
quality.
4. Prepare the batter for the Cupcakes.
5. Raise the lid of the appliance.
6. Fill each of the six pastry wells in the nonstick cooking
surface with batter mixture.
7. Close the lid and plug in. Steam may be released from
appliance during cooking. For your safety, avoid contact
with steam, as it is very hot and can cause burns.
8. Allow Cupcakes to cook for alotted time. Open the unit
to check if the Cupcakes are ready. If they are cooked
as desired, remove the plug from the power outlet and
use a wooden utensil or heat proof spatula to remove the
Cupcakes. If they are not completely cooked, close the
unit and continue cooking for 4-7 minutes or until
Cupcakes are lightly browned.
9. To cook additional Cupcakes, repeat the above steps.
Reapply the plates with cooking oil, butter or margarine.
You may want to use a pastry brush. Do not touch the hot
plates.
10.When nished, unplug the appliance from the electrical
outlet. Allow the unit to cool before cleaning.

HELPFUL HINTS
• There may be a slight smell and some smoke the first
time the appliance is used. This is normal and
temporary. Make sure there is sufficient ventilation.
• Cupcakes that do not set or are not brown are due
to insufficient heat or the cooking time is too short.
Use the correct measurements for the recipe.
• If the Cupcakes are too brown, insufficient batter is
used or the cooking time is too long. Ensure cooking
plate is full or reduce cooking time before checking.
• Make sure that the plates are cleaned and lightly oiled
before each use to prevent the Cupcake from sticking
and ensuring easy removal.
• Use only wooden, plastic, or rubber utensils. DO NOT
use sharp-edged cooking tools such as knives, forks,
spoons etc. as the scratching will affect the non-stick
performance.
