Read this manual thoroughly before using the appliance and

save it for future reference

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Read all instructions before using.

• Before connecting the kettle to the power supply, check that

the voltage indicated on the appliance (underside the kettle &

base) corresponds with the voltage in your home. If this is not

the case, contact your dealer and do not use the kettle.

• Do not let the cord hang over edge of table counter or touch

hot surface.

• Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a

heated oven.

• Do not operate without water; otherwise heater element would

be damaged.

• Ensure that kettle is used on a ﬁrm and ﬂat surface where

the children can not touch it. This can prevent the kettle from

overturning.

• To protect against a ﬁre, electric shock, or personal injury, do

not immerse cord, electric plugs or kettle in water or other

liquids.

• While water boiling, avoid contacting with steam from the

spout when water is boiling or just after it has switched off. Do

not be anxious to uncover the lid.

• Always take care to pour boiling water slowly and carefully

without tipping the kettle too fast.

• Be careful when opening the lid for reﬁlling when the kettle is

hot.

• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by

or near children.

• Do not touch the hot surface. Use the handle or the button

only.

• The kettle is for household use only.

• Do not use outdoors.

• The use of accessory attachments, which are not,

recommended by the appliance manufacturer, may result in

ﬁre, electric shock or personal injury.

• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow

to cool before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning

the appliance.

• Always ensure the lid is closed and do not lift it while the water

is boiling.

• Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during the brewing

cycles.

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the

manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualiﬁed person

in order to avoid a hazard.

• This appliance has been incorporated with a grounded plug.

Please ensure the wall outlet in your house is well earthed.

• Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.

• The kettle can only use with the stand provided.

• If the kettle is overﬁlled, boiling water may be ejected.

• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including

children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,

or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have

been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the

appliances by a person responsible for their safety.

• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play

with the appliance.

• This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar

applications such as:

- Staff kitchen areas in shops, ofﬁces and other working

environments;

- Farm houses;

- By clients in hotels, motels and other residential type

environments;

- Bed and breakfast type environments.

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and

above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental

capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have

been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the

appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

• Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user

maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

• Save these instructions.

SERVICE & REPAIR

1. For service or repair under warranty, please contact the

authorized service company that is mentioned on the guarantee

card that accompanies the product.

2. Do not operate any product with a damaged cord or plug. If

the supply cord is damaged, return the appliance to a SINGER

service center for examination repair or adjustment. Do not

attempt to dismantle any part of the appliance. This should only

be done at an authorized SINGER service centre.

3. The partial or total non-respect of the safety instructions in the

present instruction manual will automatically release Singer of

any type of responsibility in case of malfunction of the machine

or injuries to persons or animals.

4. In case of manipulation, repairing or any modiﬁcation of the

machine made by unqualiﬁed persons or in case of improper

use, the guarantee will be automatically cancelled.

KNOW YOUR WATER KETTLE

BEFORE USING YOUR KETTLE

If you are using the kettle for the ﬁrst time, it is recommended that you clean

your kettle before use by boiling a full kettle of water (up to Max) twice and then

discarding the water.

NOTE: The max capacity of kettle is 1.5L.

OPERATION OF YOUR KETTLE

1. Pour out left over water from previous boiling cycle and ﬁll with the desired

amount of fresh water to the water kettle. Make water directly run through

the water inlet at the center of the lid (the strong water ﬂow can push

the cover of the water inlet to open automatically), or open the lid and ﬁll

with the desired amount of water to the water kettle. Always ﬁll the kettle

between the minimum (0.5L) and maximum (1.5L) marks. Too little water

will result in the kettle switching off before the water has boiled.

NOTE: Do not ﬁll the water over the maximum level, as water may spill

out of the spout when boiling. Ensure that the lid is ﬁrmly in place before

connecting the power cord to the outlet.

2. Connect the plug into a power outlet. Press the On/Off switch downwards.

The kettle starts to boil the water. The LED light will be shining in blue.

The kettle will switch off automatically once the water has boiled. You can

shut off the power by pressing the switch upwards at any moment during

boiling water.

NOTE: Ensure that switch is clear off obstructions and the lid is ﬁrmly

closed all the time throughout the boiling cycle. The kettle will not turn off

if the switch is constrained and scalding may occur if the lid is open.

3. Take the plug out of the outlet. Lift the kettle then pour the water.

NOTE: operate carefully when pouring the water from your kettle as

boiling water will scald.

4. The kettle will not re-boil until the switch is pressed again. Allow to cool for

30~40 seconds before reopening to boil water. Never re-boil water older

than 2 hours.

NOTE: Ensure power supply is turned off when kettle is not in use.

BOIL-DRY PROTECTION

Should you accidentally let the kettle operate without water; the boil-dry

protection will automatically switch off the power. If this occurs, allow the kettle

to cool before ﬁlling with cold water to re-boil.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Always let the kettle cool down ﬁrst and disconnect the appliance from the

power outlet before cleaning.

2. Never immerse the kettle area or cord in water or allow moisture to contact

with these parts.

3. To clean the ﬁlter: open the lid; rinse the ﬁlter with running water and then

dry it.

4. When the kettle is not in use, you shall store the power cord in the cord

storage of the base.

Cleaning appearance of housing

Wipe the appearance of body with a mild and damp cloth or cleaner, never use

a poisonous cleaner.

Never immerse the power base in water or other liquid for cleaning.

DESCALING

Your kettle should be periodically descaled because the mineral deposits in tap

water may form scale on the bottom of the kettle and diminish the efﬁciency

of operation. The frequency of the descaling operation depends on the

hardness of the water and on how often the appliance is used. You can use

the commercially available descaler and follow the instructions on the package

of descaler. Alternatively, you may follow the instructions as below to clean

with white vinegar.

1. Fill the kettle with 3 cups of white vinegar, then adding water up to level

MAX. Leave the solution in the kettle overnight.

2. Then discard the mixture in the kettle, ﬁll the kettle with clean water, boil

and then throw it away. Repeat several times until the odor of vinegar

has been ﬂushed away. Any stains remaining inside the spout can be

removed by rubbing with a damp cloth.

the European Union and other European countries with separate

collection systems).

This symbol on the product or on its packaging indicates that this

be handed over to the applicable collection point for the recycling

of electrical and electronic equipment. By ensuring this product is disposed

of correctly, you will help prevent potential negative consequences for

the environment and human health, which could otherwise be caused by

inappropriate waste handling of this product. The recycling of materials will

help to conserve natural resources. For more detailed information about

recycling of this product, please contact your local city ofﬁce, your household

waste disposal service or the shop where you purchased the product.
