the device, its functions and uses.

SAFETY INFORMATION

Please read this manual carefully before

use and keep it for future reference.

1. Children aged at least 8, persons with physical,

sensory or mental impairment, and the untrained

or inexperienced may use this appliance with

instruction or supervision in its safe use, provided

they understand the potential dangers.

2. Children must not play with the device.

3. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be

performed by unsupervised children, and never by

children under 8 years of age.

4. Children under 8 should keep clear of the appliance

and its power supply.

5. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced

by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly

qualied persons in order to avoid a dangerous

situation.

NOTICE. HOT SURFACE. The temperature of

accessible surfaces may be higher when the

appliance is in operation.

6. The appliance is not designed for operation using an

external timer or remote control.

7. Clean the parts of the appliance that come into

contact with food according to the instructions in

this manual.

8. This appliance is intended for use in households and

similar premises such as:

‐ kitchenettes for employees in shops, ofces and

other workplaces;

‐farmhouses in rural settlements;

‐hotels, motels and other residential type

accommodation where it can be used by guests;

‐bed and breakfast accommodation.

9. This appliance is designed for home cooking. Use it only for its intended

purpose. Do not use it for commercial purposes, in an industrial or

laboratory environment, or outdoors.

10. Before connecting the plug of the power supply to the mains socket,

make sure that the voltage indicated on the type plate is the same as the

voltage in your socket.

11. Connect the plug of the power cable only to a properly grounded mains

socket.

12. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or controls. Always wear

protective kitchen gloves when handling hot accessories.

13. Use only the accessories supplied with the appliance or recommended

by the manufacturer.

14. Before use, check that the appliance and accessories are not damaged.

15. To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not immerse the appliance, its

power cord or plug in water or any other liquid.

16. Route the power cord so that it does not touch a hot surface. Do not let

the power cord hang over the edge of a table or work surface.

17. Place the appliance on a rm, at and dry surface at a sufcient distance

from the mains socket. Ensure sufcient free space around the appliance

to ensure proper air circulation.

18. Do not place the appliance on/near an electric or gas stove, oven or other

heat sources.

19. Do not install the appliance under upper kitchen cabinets, near

ammable materials or objects sensitive to heat.

20. This appliance is designed to be free-standing. It must not be installed or

used as a built-in or placed in a cabinet.

21. Before switching on the oven, make sure that there are no foreign

objects in it.

22. Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is running.

23. Never handle the appliance when it is switched on and plugged into the

mains socket.

24. Cook food in glass or metal containers that are intended for use in this

type of appliance. It is forbidden to cook food in containers made of

paper, cardboard, plastic, etc.

25. Be very careful when opening the door to avoid scalding yourself from

escaping steam and hot air. First open the door slightly to allow steam

and hot air to escape before opening it fully. Keep face and hands away

from escaping steam and hot air.

26. Do not place dishes or utensils on the open glass door.

27. Do not place any objects on top of the appliance, even when not in use.

The top of the appliance is not intended for storage.

28. Be very careful when removing a container with hot oil, grease or water.

There is a risk of serious burns. If possible, allow liquids heated to a high

temperature to cool before removing them from the appliance.

29. Do not cover any accessories or food with aluminium foil or similar

material. There is a risk of the appliance overheating.

30. Do not put in large pieces of food, food in aluminium foil or other metal

packaging. There is a risk of re or electric shock.

31. Do not apply water to the glass door while the appliance is in operation,

as this could damage it.

32. Switch off and unplug the appliance when not in use, if it stays

unattended, before cleaning, moving or storing. Always allow the

appliance to cool completely before cleaning, moving or storing it.

33. Do not use metal scouring pads for cleaning, as pieces of metal can

cause a short circuit and electric shock.

34. Do not use the appliance if it is damaged, fell, does not work properly

or the power cable or plug is damaged. Do not use the appliance with

damaged accessories. Entrust the repair to an authorized service center

only. The appliance does not contain parts that can be repaired by the

user. All repairs, adjustments or other than normal maintenance may

only be carried out by a qualied authorized service person.

35. You can store the supplied accessories in the appliance. Do not store

other foreign objects in the appliance.

36. Store the appliance in a well-ventilated place, out of the reach of children

and pets. Make sure it is disconnected from the power source before

storing.

USE

Before First Use

Remove the appliance and its accessories from the packaging. Before disposing of the

packaging, be sure to remove all components. Check the appliance and accessories for

damage.

Wipe the outer surface of the appliance with a soft and dry sponge.

Wash the accessories in warm water with a little dishwashing liquid. Rinse and wipe

dry.

Turn the oven on empty using the function and leave it on for about 15 minutes to

remove the smell during transport and to burn the heating element. During this time,

you may notice slight unpleasant smell and faint smoke. This is a normal phenomenon

that disappears with use.

Controls

1. Place the oven on a rm, level and heat-resistant surface at a sufcient distance

from the mains socket. Make sure that there is sufcient free space around the

oven for proper circulation and removal of excess heat. Check that the oven is

placed at a safe distance from ammable materials or objects.

2. Place the grid inside the oven and a sheet underneath to catch the juices and fat

from the food.

3. Plug the power cord into a power outlet.

4. You can prepare food directly on the grid or in a heat-resistant container suitable

for oven preparation.

5. Use the controller to select the oven feature – see the feature table below.

6. Use the temperature controller to set the desired temperature and the timer

controller to set the cooking time.

7. The oven will start automatically and the power-on light will come on.

8. If you need to check the food during preparation, carefully open the door and

check the food.

9. An audible alert sounds when the preparation is complete. Turn the feature

controller to the “OFF” position.

10. If you need to turn the oven off before the cooking time has elapsed, turn the timer

controller to the “OFF” position and the feature controller to the “OFF” position.

11. Unplug the power supply and allow the oven to cool before cleaning.

Warning:

Avoid contact with the heating element. There is a risk of serious burns if

handled incorrectly.

Warning:

Always be very careful when removing sheet, grid or another container

from a hot oven. When removing hot items from the oven, always use the

heat-resistant oven mitts and handles provided (sheet handle and spit

handle).

Note:

The above preparation times are only recommended and it is necessary

to take into account the quantity of ingredients, thickness of the cuttings,

temperature and similar factors in the nal preparation.

Recommendation:

• Allow the oven to preheat sufciently before putting the food in.

• Evenly distribute the food on the grid or in the prepared container.

• The grid should be positioned so that the notches face downwards.

• The total weight you place on the grid/sheet must not exceed 3.5 kg.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Always switch off the appliance, disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket and

allow it to cool down completely before cleaning or any maintenance. Clean the oven

after each use.

Warning:

Never immerse the appliance, power cord or plug in water or other liquids.

Do not use plastic or metal scrapers, harsh cleaners, chemicals, petrol, solvents or

other similar substances to clean any parts of the appliance. The surface nish could

be seriously damaged.

Oven

Wipe the outer surface with a soft, slightly damp sponge. Wipe dry. Wipe the area of

the control panel with a dry cloth only.
