The heat from the bottom is then transferred to the food or liquids in the cookware.
Check the product packaging or pot bottom to see if there is an induction symbol. In
this case, the cookware is suitable for use.
To nd out if the cookware is suitable for an induction hob, you can place a magnet
next to it. If the magnet is attracted to the dishes, such dishes are suitable for use.
Material suitable for use on the induction hob: cast iron, steel, enamel, stainless steel
with ferromagnetic bottom.
Material unsuitable for use on induction hob: pure stainless steel, aluminum or copper
without ferromagnetic bottom, glass, wood, porcelain, ceramic or earthenware.
Never use utensils made of plastic or melanin.
Use cookware with a at and smooth bottom that corresponds to the diameter of the
cooking zone. Do not use cookware with a serrated edge, a round bottom or a dam-
aged bottom.
Lift the cookware upwards from the hob. Do not slide it across the cooking surface.
There's a risk of damage.
The cooking zone of the induction cooker automatically adjusts to the diameter of the
cookware base. However, do not use cookware with too small or large a bottom diame-
ter. We recommend using cookware with a diameter between 12 and 26 cm.
Note:
If you use unsuitable cookware or if the cooker detects that no cookware
is placed on it, it will automatically switch off. This is a normal and safety
phenomenon to prevent damage to the appliance.
Radio interference
Use of an induction cooker may cause interference with radio, television or similar
receivers. In this case, we recommend:
• redirect the radio or TV antenna;
• move the hob away from the radio, TV or receiver;
• plug the power cord plug into another socket with a separate circuit.
Touch control
The induction hob is equipped with electronic controls that respond to a gentle touch,
no need to exert excessive pressure.
Use you the eshy part of your ngertip, not the tips, to press the control. It is impor-
tant that you keep your ngers clean and dry.
Each touch of the control is signaled by a sound.
Keep the control panel and its elements clean and dry. Do not place objects (such as
a dishtowel, etc.) on them. Even small amounts of water can make it difcult to control.
Use
Place the induction hob on the worktop or table. Make sure it is located within reach of
a power outlet. Make sure that the power supply cable does not touch a hot surface or
is not routed over a sharp edge. Observe all safety precautions.
Make sure the surface of the induction hob is clean and dry.
Fully unwind the power cord and plug the power plug into the mains socket. A short
audible warning will sound and the fan will run for a short time. The display will show
"OFF".
