1. Document Overview

- 5 -
2.1 Description of SOGO
ǩSOGO is a high-tech electric vehicle which uses dynamic balance principles to control forward, backward,
and stopping motions. Ease of operation, flexible control and environmentally friendliness are SOGO’s
advantages.
2.1 Description of Parts
2. Product Information

- 6 -
2.3 Working Principles
ǩSOGO uses gyroscope and acceleration sensors to control balance intelligently depending on the center of
gravity. It also uses a servo-control system to drive the motor accurately. When you shift your weight forward or
backward, the power plant will control forward or backward movement to keep SOGO balanced. When turning,
you need to slow down and move your body left or right.
ǩ The built-in inertia dynamic stabilization system can control front and back movement; however it cannot
guarantee the stability of left and right movement. When you drive SOGO, please shift your weight in order to
overcome the centrifugal force and improve turning security.

3.1 Mat Sensor
ǩThere are four sensors under the mat. When the user steps onto SOGO, it will automatically adjust to the
balance mode.
ǩWhen driving SOGO, please stand directly on the mats - not beside them.
ǩ
3.2 Display Board
The Display Board is located in the middle of SOGO.
Battery Display:
Green LED light: Indicates fully charged.
Red LED light: Indicates power down to 20%.
(When the LED light becomes red, please recharge the battery.)
Running LED:
ǩWhen the operator triggers the foot switches, the running LED will light up. In the event of a system error, the
running LED light will turn red.
3. Control Device
Please do not cover the mats with other items as SOGO may become unable to switch off, increasing the
probability of collision or damage

4.1 User’s Weight Limit
4.2 User’s Age Grade Limit: 16+

ǩMaximum Load: 220 lbs.
ǩMinimum Load: 45 lbs.
4. Safely Using the SOGO

- 9 -
4.3 Maximum Range
Landform: A smooth, flat surface will increase driving distance.
Ambient temperature: Please ride and store SOGO at recommended temperatures , which will increase
driving distance.
Maintenance: Reasonable battery charging and maintenance will increase distance.
Speed and Driving Style: Maintaining a moderate speed will increase distance. Frequent starts,
stops, acceleration and deceleration will reduce distance.
4.4 Speed Limit
ǩSOGO maximum speed is 6.2 mph.
ǩWhen the speed close to the maximum, the buzzer alarm will ring.
ǩSOGO can keep the user in balance up to the maximum speed. Over that, SOGO will take the initiative and tilt the
driver to reduce speed.
There are a lot of factors that will affect drive distance, such as:
Weight: The weight of the driver can affect driving distance.
