These Installation Instructions are in addition to the Getting Started Manual

and Reference Guide provided with your Segway PT. Read all Instructions

before operating the Segway PT.

FASTENERS

Use only Segway approved fasteners.•

Do not tighten or re-use any fastener except the screws used to attach •

the battery packs, wheel nuts, and LeanSteerTM frame. Instead, when

any other fastener is loose or removed, replace the fastener with a new

Segway-approved fastener.

Do not attempt to repair any stripped or damaged screw hole. Instead, •

replace the part. If replacement part is not available, do not reassemble.

Insert fasteners slowly and carefully. Do not cross-thread or over-tighten •

fasteners. Tighten only to the prescribed torque.

Failure to adhere to these warnings could lead to serious injury or death •

or damage to property.

le Guide de référence accompagnant votre Segway TP. Veuillez lire toutes les

instructions avant d’utiliser le Segway TP.

FIXATIONS

Utilisez uniquement les dispositifs de xation Segway agréés. •

Ne serrez pas et ne réutilisez pas les dispositifs de xation, à l’exception •

des vis utilisées pour attacher les blocs-batteries, des écrous de roue et du

cadre LeanSteerTM. Lorsque les autres dispositifs de xation se desserrent

ou sont retirés, remplacez-les par des dispositifs de xation Segway agréés.

Ne tentez pas de réparer un trou de vis foiré ou endommagé. Remplacez •

plutôt la pièce. Si aucune pièce de rechange n’est disponible, ne

rassemblez pas.

Insérez les dispositifs de xation lentement et avec précaution. Ne serrez •

pas trop et ne faussez pas le letage des dispositifs de xation. Serrez

uniquement au couple recommandé.

Le fait de ne pas respecter ces avertissements peut soumettre l’utilisateur à •

des risques de blessures graves, voire fatales ou à des dommages matériels.
