General information

Seedhasdevelopedandconstructedyourpram/strollerin

accordancewiththestrictestrequirements,includingthesafety

standardsEN1888:2003+A1/A2/A3:2005,AS2088:2000ASTM

F833-07a.andBS7409:1996Inanumberofareaswehavegone

even further to ensure your child’s safety and to give you and other

usersofthepram/strollerthegreatestpossiblesecurity.

When you unpack your Seed Pli for the rst time

Itisimportanttousthatyouhavereceivedthecorrectproduct,

thatitisingoodorder,andthatyouarehappytouseyourSeedPli.

WhenyouunpackyourSeedPliforthersttime,youshould

ensurethattheproductisundamagedandthatnothingis

missing.

Ifpartsaremissing,youshouldcontactthedealerfromwhom

youpurchasedyourSeedPli.

In the package you will nd:

• Chassis model no.1100

• Softshell model no. 2100

• Hood

• Cover

• Mattress

• User manual

Anyscratchedorfaultymetal,plasticortextilepartswillnotbe

replacedafterthepram/strollerhasbeentakenintouse.

All complaints should be directed to the dealer.

Alwayskeepyourreceiptscarefullyandndthechassisnumber

of your Seed Pli on the chassis and Softshell.

Proof of guarantee

Yourreceiptistheproofofguaranteeforyourpurchase.

Your Seed Pli has a chassis number

Youwillndthechassisnumberonthechassistotherightofthe

brakepedal.TheSoftshellchassisnumberisatthefrontonthe

bottom of the chassis.

How to use your Seed Pli

The red and the green grips

Tofacilitateuseofthepram/stroller,wehavechosentousethe

coloursredandgreenfortheuser-grips.

RED: Here you must be extra careful. If you are in doubt, read the

manual again.

GREEN: Thereisnodangerinvolvedintheuseofthegreengrips.

Always be aware when you use your Seed Pli

Checktheredandgreengrips.Aretheycorrectlylocked?

Check the brake.

CheckthattheSoftshelliscorrectlyttedtothechassis.

Ifthepram/strolleristobeusedasapushchair,youmustensure

thattheSoftshelliscorrectlyttedandthatthechildisharnessed.

Thepram/strollerisconstructedtotransportonechildbetween

theagesof0-36months,butwithamaximumweightof18kg.

Preparing the chassis

• Placethechassisonedgewiththewheelstowardsyouand

hold the handlebar. (1)

• Ifyourstrolleristtedwithswivelwheels,thewheelsmustbe

in“locked”position.(24)

• Takeholdofthewheelsandpullthemoutwardstoeachside.(2)

• Pulltherearaxlecasingintowardsyourselftothelocked

position,whenyouhearaclearlyaudibleclickfromeachside,

thewheelsarelocked.(3)

• Placethechassissothatitisstandingonitswheels.(4)

• Applythebrake.(15)

• Pullthehandlebarupuntilitlocksandyouhearaclearlyaudibleclick

on both sides.(5)

• Adjustthehandlebarwiththehelpofthegreengriptothe

heightthatyourequire.(13,6)

• Ifyourstrollerisfittedwithswivelwheels,thewheelscannow

be unlocked. (23)

Preparing for use as a pram

• PlacetheSoftshellwiththetwogreencomfort-gripsunder

thechassisturnedtowardsthehandlebar.(9)

• When you hear a clearly audible click from the assembly

ttingsonbothsides,theSoftshellwillbelockedontothe

chassis. (7)

WARNING! Check that the Softshell’s securing mechanism is

activated correctly.

• Thehoodisttedbyrstzippingitonfromtheleftside(seen

fromthepushingdirection)andclickingthetwogreyplastic

fasteners onto the Softshell’s chassis. (19)

• Fitthecoverbyzippingitonfromtherightside(seenfromthe

pushingdirection).

• Thereclininganglecanbeadjustedbyusingthetwocomfort-

 gripsatthesametime.(9)

Removing the Softshell

The Softshell can be released from the chassis by simultaneously

pressinginthetwosafetybuttonsonthettinginstallationsand

liftingup.(8,7)

Preparing for use as a pushchair

WARNING! The seat is not suitable for children under 6 months.

WARNING! The mattress must be removed before using as a

pushchair.

• TheSoftshellisplacedwiththetwogreencomfort-grips

facing the handlebar. (9,7)

• Whenyouhearaclearlyaudibleclickfromthettinginstalla-

tions, the Softshell is locked onto the chassis. (7)

WARNING! Check that the Softshell’s securing mechanism is

activated correctly.

• Zipthehoodontotheendwherethetwocomfort-gripsare

situated.

• Adjustthechassistothesittinganglebyreleasingthetwo

greencomfort-gripssimultaneouslyandtiptheSoftshellup.(9)

• Foldoutthefootrestwhichissituatedinsidetheendofthe

Softshell. (11)

• Formtheseatbypullingupthetworednylonstrapsinsidethe

Softshell.

• ThenylonstrapsarepulledoutovertheSoftshell’schassis

andfastenedtothetwopostsonthesideofthe

chassis. (12)

• Pushthetwo-partbottomintoplaceandtheseatisreadyfor

use. (11,12)

• Thebackrestanglecanbeadjustedwiththestraponthe

Softshall

TheSoftshellcanalsobettedtofacetheoppositedirectionso

thechildisfacingthehandlebarbyttingitwiththetwogreen

comfort-gripsfacingawayfromthehandlebar.

How to adjust the height of the handlebar (13)

Releasethegreengriponthehandlebartoadjusttheheightfor

maximum comfort.

How to adjust the lying position (9, 10)

Withthehelpofthetwogreencomfort-gripsontheSoftshell,

youcanplacetheboxinahorizontalpositionandagoodlying

positionforthechildasapramandadjustthesittingposition

whenitisusedasapushchair.Theyshouldbereleasedsimulta-

neouslybypressingthemback.

Use of harness and harness rings

WARNING! Alwaysusetheharnesswhenthechildcansit

independently,irrespectiveofwhetherthepram/strollerisused

asapramorapushchair.

Whenusingasapushchair,youmustalwaysusethebuilt-in

three-pointharness.Yousecurethechildbypullingthetwo

shoulder-strapsoutoverthechild’sarmsandlockingthemwith

thebuckleonthecrutch-strap.Adjustthelengthoftheharness

sothatittscloselyaroundthechild’sshouldersandhips.(18)

Ifyouusethepram/strollerasapram,youshouldalwaysusea

harnessforyourchild.Itisfastenedtothetwometalringsonthe

insides of the Softshell. (20,21)

Ask your dealer for advice if you do not have a harness for your

pramofifyouareindoubt.

About the hood (14)

Thelowerpartofthehoodisdividedintotwopartswherethe

centralapcanbefoldeduptocreatefurtherventilation.

The hood can be adjusted back and forth in stages.

Whenusingasapram,thehoodcanbettedbyrstzippingiton

fromtheleftside(seenfromthepushingdirection)andclicking

thetwogreyplasticgripsontothesideoftheSoftshell.(19)

Whenusingasapushchair,thehoodisttedinthesamewayto

the other end of the Softshell.

How to fold your Seed Pli

• Applythebrake.(15)

• Ifyourstrolleristtedwithswivelwheels,thewheelsmustbe

in“locked”position.(24)

• RemovetheSoftshellbypressinginthetwosafetybuttonson

the side of the assembly installation. The chassis should be

horizontal. (8)

• Releasethegreenadjustergriponthehandlebarandpushitin

asfarasitwillgo.(6)

• Releasethetwogreenandtworedgripsatthesametimeand

foldthediagonaltubedowntothebottomchassis.(16,17,5)

• Standthechassisonedgewiththewheelstowardsyourself.(2)

• Releasetherearaxle-casingbypressingitforward.(22)

• Pullthewheelsintothebottomchassis.(1)

• Nowthepram/strollerisfoldedtogether.

• Tiethesafetystrapbehindthebrakepedalattherearofthe

chassis.

YoucanxtheSoftshellontotheclosedchassisbyclickingit

ontothetwointernalpegsontheinnersideofthediagonaltube

totheundersideofthettinginstallation.

Accessories for your Seed Pli

Important!UseonlyoriginalSeedaccessoriesandspareparts

Whenyouusethecape,theinsectorotheraccessoriesitis

importantthattheaccessorytsontoyourSeedPli.Youmust

alwaysensurethatitiscorrectlyttedsothatyourchildcannot

pullitintothepram/strollerandsuerinjury.

Ask your dealer for advice if necessary.

Service and maintenance

Your Seed Pli must be regularly maintained to maximise its lifetime.

Maintenance of the chassis

Brushodustanddirtafteruse.

Washthepram/strollerregularly.Usewarmwaterfortherims

andwheelsanddryafterwardswithacloth.Aftercleaningwith

wateryoushouldapplyathinlayerofacid-freeoiltothealu-

miniumparts.

Acid-free oil can also be used for the general care of the alumini-

umpartsofthepram/stroller.Thiswillmaximiseitslifetime.

Notcleaningyourpram/strollercanresultincorrosion.

IMPORTANT! Neverusesteelwoolorabrasivesonthepram/stroller.
