• Position the ProcessingBowlontothe
MotorBaseandturnthebowlclockwise
untilthehandlelockstothefront.
• Before placingthelidontotheProcessing Bowl,
place your Geared Spindleandpositionitover
thecouplinginthecentreoftheProcessing Bowl.
• Ifyouintend to dice largerquantities
(morethan5 cups) pleaseinsert theDicing
Distributorafterplacingyourgeared spindle
intothebowl.The Dicing Distributor will help
todistributedicedfoodevenlyacross the bowl.
WARNING
Donottouchtheblades
oftheDicingGrid.
Theyare extremely sharp.
• PlacetheDicingGrid,ensuringtoalignwith
the4tabsinthebowl,then insert the Dicing Disc.
• Makesure youfollowtherightorderand
tomatchyourDicing Disc with your
DicingGrid.Each Dicing Grid createscubes
in dierent sizes and has its corresponding
DicingDiscinmatchingsize.
• DonotuseyourDicing Kit with the Disc Spindle.
Alwaysuse the Geared Spindle.

Functions
The DicingKits diceraw andcooked food into
cubesofthesizeof 16mm x 16mm and
8mmx8mm.
Do notdice morethan 10 cups(2.4L) in your food
processorata time.If you needto dice more than
this volume,alwaysempty your bowland then
continue dicing.Exceeding thisvolumewill leadto
the product jammingin the discand will make the
cleaningprocessof the dicing grid challenging.
Use theSTART /PAUSEbutton forcontrol when
dicingfood.
Vegetables and fruits
The DicingKits can process raw andcooked
vegetablesand also fruits.To improve dicingresults
forharder vegetableslike carrotsandpumpkin,
par-cookingisrecommended.
Do Not Dice Sweet Potato
(Yam/Kumara)
Due to its dry, brous texture dicing sweet potato
isnotrecommendedwith the Dicing Kit.
Sweetpotato placeshighload on theDicing Kit
whichcauseshighfrictionandpotentialdamage
totheBowlLid.
ChooseThe Right Feed Chute Size
Forbest resultswhen dicing withraw, hard
vegetablesfeed carrots length-waysthrough the
Small FeedChute,and feedpumpkin throughthe
Medium FeedChute.Feeding thisproduce through
the Large Feed Chutemay leadto jammingofthe
disc. When dicing tomato, select rmer fruit for
optimalresults.
TIP
If thefood processor stallswhen dicing stopthe
machineandremovethedicingdiscverycarefully.
Usingthecleaningcap, clearoutthefoodbuilt up
inthedicinggridanddicingdisc.

Remove thepowercord fromthe poweroutlet after
useforsafetyreasons.
BladesandDiscsarerazorsharp, do nottouch.
Alwaysuse the Cleaning Cap,Spatula or Brush
to removefood orwhen cleaningblades.Blades
anddiscscanbewashed in the dishwasher.
All three DicingGrids (8mm, 12mmand 16mm)
have theirmatching Cleaning CapTools (8mm,
12mm,16mm).
To clearout remaining food from theDicing Grid
use theDicing CleaningCapin the matchingsize
ofDicingGridafterDicing10cupsor EACHUSE.
Immediately afterdicing, remove theDicing Disc
fromthebowl whileleaving theDicingGrid inside
thebowl.
• Choose theright Cleaning Cap size andattach
the CleaningCap tothe bottom ofthe Large
Pusher.
• AlignthemarkingsontheCleaningCapwith
themarkingsontheDicingGrid,pushdown
toclearoutthefoodin the grid.
• Repeatfour times going aroundthegriduntil
theentiregrid is cleared.

container andout of thereach ofchildren toavoid
accidentalcuts.Itisnotrecommendedto store
thediscsinadrawerwithotherutensils.
