Your jigsaw has been designed for sawing wood, aluminium and plastics.This tool can be used as
multifunction with large accessories alternatives and make cutting process excellent as both
circular and curved.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read all instructions failure to follow all instructions listed below may result in electric shock,
fire and/or serious injury.
The voltage of the power source must agree with the value given on the nameplate of the
machine.
Before using the tool, check the tool and it’s power connections if there is any damagement.
Don’t connect the plug to power source when switch is on.
Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, ranges and
refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or
grounded.
Extreme temperature differences cause water droplets on power conducting parts . Before
switch on the tool, wait tool to get same temperature working room temperature.
Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc. in accordance with these instructions and in
the manner intended fort he particular type of power tool, taking into acccount the work
conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the power tool for operations different
from intended could result in a hazardous situation.
Fit workpieces and for fitting the workpieces, use clamping equipments or vice.
Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves
away from moving parts. Loosing clothes, jewellery or long hair can be caught in moving
parts.
Use safety equipment. Always wear eye protection. Safety equipment such as dust mask, non-
skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for appropriate.
When working with the machine, hold it firmly with both hands and provide for a secure
stance.
Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will
increase the risk of electric shock.
When operating a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Use of
a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.
Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable
liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
When power tool is given to other people, this instruction manual must be given with power
tool.
Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement
parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained.

WARNING: Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when
operating a power tool. Do not use a power tool while you are tired or under the
influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention while operating
power tools may result in serious personal injury.
Keep the tools out of reach of children.
Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar
with the power tool or these instructions to operate the power tool.
Disconnect the plug from the power source before making any adjustments, changing
accessories, or storing power tools. Such preventative safety measures reduce the risk of
starting the power tools accidentally.
Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the power tool.
Don’t switch off the tool when it is on load.
Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered and dark areas invite accidents.
Avoid the anormal body moving, when operating the tools.
Avoid accidental starting. Ensure the switch is in the off position before plugging in.
Carry power tools with your finger on the switch or plugging in power tools that have the
switch on invites accidents.
Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the power tool on. A wrench or a key
left attached to a rotating part of the power tool may result in personal injury.
After switch off, do not braket he saw blade to a stop by applying side pressure.
Use only sharp, flawless saw blades. Replace immediately cracked, bent or dull saw
blades.
Changing of blade and shoe must be done after pull the mains plug.
Blade must be fitted firmly in the blade locking equipment. Regularly check if blade is
fitted firmly.
When sawing, the complete surface of the base plate should securely rest on the material.
Hazardous dust for human health can smudge by cutting concrete with asbestos. Take
care of legal regulations and manufacturer advice.
OPERATING
Always use the correct supply voltage.
The voltage of the power source must agree with the value given on the nameplate of the
machine.
CHANGING SAW BLADE

Before any work on the machine itself, pull the mains plug.
1. To fit the blade, rotate the blade locking collar in clockwise direction..
2. Slide the blade into the locating groove with teeth pointing forward. Ensure the blade
rollaer guide is in contact with the back edge of the cutting blade at all times.
3. Release the locking collar to secure the blade.
4. Universal blade locking equipment is available for all saw blades in market.
SWITCH ON/OFF
Switching on: Press the on- off switch
Switching off: Release the on- off switch.
CONTINUOUS OPERATION
Push the variable speed switch trigger and at the same time push the continuous operation
lock button .
The stop continuous operating, push variable speed switch and then release.
STROKE SELECTING
With the thumbwheel, the required stroke rate can be selected(also while running).
1 –2 : Low stroke rate
3 –4 : Medium stroke rate
5 –6 : High stroke rate
DUST VACUUMING WITH THE EXTERNAL EXTRACTOR DEVICE
Dust extraction prevents large accumulations of dust, high concentrations of dust in the
ambient air and facilitates disposal.
For long periods of working with wood or for commercial use on materials that produce dust that
is detrimental to health, the machine is to be connected to a suitable external dust extraction
device.
PENDULUM ACTION SETTING
The saw blade pendulum action that is adjustable in four steps makes possible the optimum
adaptation of sawing advancin(cutting speed) , cutting performance and cut appearance of the
material to be worked.
For each downward movement, the saw blade is lifted off the material which facilities sawdust
ejection reduces heat generated by friction and increases the service life of the saw blade. At the

same time the reduction of the necessary advancing force makes fatigue-free working possible.
The adjustment lever makes possible the adjustment of the pendulum action in four steps. The
switching can take place with the machine running.
Step 0:
No pendulum action
Step 1:
Small pendulum action
Step 2:
Medium pendulum action
Step 3:
Large pendulum action
The following basic recommendations are to be observed:
The finer and cleaner the cut edge should be, the smaller the pendulum step selected
should be or switch off.
Fort he working of thin metal such as sheet metal, switch off the pendulum action.
In materials such as softwood and cutting in the direction of the grain, the maximum
pendulum action can be used.
OPERATING INFORMATION
CUTTING
Do not depress too much to worpiece for avoiding damaging and heating of blade. For avoiding
vibration and cutting beter, put the workpiece to a firm plate.
CUTTING ANGLE ADJUSTMENT
For cutting of mitre angles loosen the 2 set screws till the saw shoe to the required mitre angle.
Mitre angle to the left/right is maximum 45°. After adjusting desired angle, tighten the set screws
firmly. Adjustable angles on jigsaw are 0°, 15°, 30°, 45°.
PLUNGE SAWING
Only soft materials such as wood, aerated concrete, plaster board aerated concrete, plaster board,
etc. may be worked with plunge method.
Cut-outs in wood are possible without predrilling by piercing with the running machine. This is
requires a certain amount of practice, however, and is possible only wit short saw blades.

Place the front edge of the base plate on the workpiece and switch on. Press the machine firmly
against the workpiece and plunge the saw blade slowly into the workpiece.
After reaching the required cutting depth, bring the machine again to the normal working position
so that the complete surface of the base plate rests on the workpiece and continue to saw along
the cutting line.
After completing the cut , switch off the machine first and then pull it out of the cut.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Before any work on the machine itself, pull the mains plug.
Guide roller should occasionally be checked for wear and lubricated with a drop of oil. If it is
worn , it must be changed. For safe and proper working , always keep the machine and the
ventilation slots clean.
If the machine should happen to fail despite the care taken in manufacture and testing, repair
should be carried out by an authorized customer services agent for Rtrmax power tools.
