5.
▼Unwrap the machine (plastic or fibreboard).
▼Take all accessories of the machine and wait with the AX S.
▼Take the lever out of its packaging so you can tilt the saw-frame and fasten the nuts
on to the AX S.
▼Turn the two nuts M16, furthermost from the motor, of the AX S.
▼Fix the AX S to the table.
* Firstly, adjust and secure in the front. Measure above the bolt, on a par with or
<0,2mm, under the table. Measure the rear side under equal conditions. Make sure
that the height is the same at both sides.
▼Assemble the overhead saw guard :
4x bolt 912 10 90
8x pinion 125 10
4x nut 10
▼First fix above the 2 top
most bolts, so you can
easily pull the cables.

6.
▼Assemble the upper arm. Fasten the nylon bolts M8-20, this to avoid turning
▼Assemble the upper control:
2x bolt 912 6 25
2x pinion 125 6
2x thick nut M6
2x plug N D-H6
Pull the cables
▼
Communication cable KEB-ESA cable
▼
In case of option digi OH (digital read out)
▼
Feeding cable 24 VDC
▼
Bind together the steering cable 24 x 0,5 and pull up and put through with pulling
cable
Make sure you don’t cause any damage while pulling the cables.
¶
Assemble this. Fasten the screws in the plugs to prevent hitches.
Mount everything. (error is not possible since connectors are all different and are not inter-
changeable)
Always secure the plugs and connectors well thus avoiding problems.
Very important: do not forget to connect the earth connector cable to the ESA touch screen.
Secure the cables with 3 tie straps in order to avoid trapping between electrical cabinet door.
Wrap the cables with the protective sleeve and mount cover plate (Z1727).

7.
▼Fit the 2 bottom bolts to the saw guard overhead support arm and attach it parallel to the table
▼Adjust the touch screen so it is straight
▼Put the belt of the motor on the right rotational speed and tighten it
▼Turn NAP-8-45 in the service door behind and close
Assem le the ta le extension H1635 (the smallest)
▼Turn the bolts out of the saw table (3x). Make sure the plaattafel fits to the AX S, with bolts 933-8-25 (which are screwed
into the table). Adjust the plaattafel against the cast-iron table (<0,2mm). Then adjust the table at the same height to the
AX S (with the 6 bolts). Only then you can tighten nut M16 to the AX S.

8.
▼Connect the 2 cables to the servo-motor. (You can‘t make any mistakes fixing the plugs,
they can only be fixed in one position).
* Attach the cables with 3 tie straps. Make sure they can‘t be damaged by the trolley of the fence.
Assem le the ta le extension H1638 (the iggest)
* First level the supports, regulating bolts M16, to the saw table (+/- 3mm under the table)
* Fix the table on a par with the saw bench (the side of the sliding table) and adjust the height
1 at the side of the sliding table, adjust on a par with or <0,2mm above the saw bench
2 at the rear side, adjust under the same conditions
* Put a straight lath on the sliding table and adjust the 2 control points equally (<0,2mm)

Assem ly sequel
9.
▼Mount the bracket to the saw cap support (bolt 8 90+2x thick pinion + nut M8)
▼Mount the saw guard with the accessory screws and adjust it so it is flat, with the saw blade in the middle
* Mount the plastic plugs in the tubes of the saw guard support
* Fix the 2 supports under the table. Make sure that, if the table still has to be put in place,
the supports have to be put on afterwards and have to be adjusted to the ground.
* Fix the accessory cast-iron saw fence and the accessory aluminium profile to the AX S.
Assem le the cross-cut ta le
▼Attach the cross-cut table to the sliding table and fix the telescopic arm under the sliding table
▼Mount the mitre guide to the cross-cut table with pre-fixed T-bolts
▼Assemble the profile support. H1212 + 2 x Z1205 (plate) + 2 car pinion 10 + 2 x Z493 (serrated nut)
and push the aluminium profile over it.

10.
▼Fasten the aluminium cube (Z1230) and push the scale in it
▼Mount the cross-cut fence on the cross-cut table
▼Fix the Flip-over stops on to the cross-cut fence
▼Adjust the roller on the cross-cut table. The roller has to be levelled with the aluminium pro
file which holds the cross-cut fence.
▼Secure the cross-cut fence so it is hooked. Then put the mitre guide ‘hook cross-cut fence’
at 0°, and fasten at the bottom.
▼Mount the plastic end to the telescopic arm.
Mount the accessories on the sliding ta le
▼f wanted, mount the hold-down plate
▼Mount the mitre fence met aanslag and wood clamp
▼Fix the end of the sliding table
