The glider can be used to move commercial, industrial, and residential
furniture or residential appliances, without damaging floors.
BEFORE USING
1. Remove all loose objects on top or inside the item being moved.
2. Measure the overhead clearance
a. There should be at least 1-1 /2" of space between the top of the item
being moved and any overhead cabinets, fixtures or ceiling.
b. If less than 2"; see troubleshooting tips.
3. For appliances, remove drip pans, covers, grills or ornamentation.
4. If moving a refrigerator, remove the front bottom grill.
5. Shut off all gas or water going to the appliance and disconnect gas
tubing, water lines, and any other hoses or tubes.
6. Unplug appliance electrical cords.
7. Make sure both front and rear of appliance are at least 1/4" but no more
than 2"off the floor.
8. Slide the pads under the item being moved as far as they will go.
They should extend through the rear of the appliance by 4"for even
balance loading. Do not force them. If they do not slide freely, see
troubleshooting tips.
a. If having trouble moving item, slide white boards
underneath pads to help.
9. Position the pads as far distant from each other as possible, but no
closer than 2"from the side of the item being moved.
10. Plug the blower in to a grounded power source.
11. Turn the blower on and move the appliance slow and steady with both
hands. Avoid rocking, as this can cause corners of the pads or appliance
to dig into floor.
12. Guide appliance to desired location.
13. Be sure all electrical cords and tubing are accessible and not under the
appliance or pads before turning blower off.
14. Disconnect hoses from the lifting pads by grasping the fittings and

If the clearance is between 1/2"and 1-1/2"it may still be possible to move the
appliance:
1. Rapidly switch the blower on and off to provide enough air for
movement without a high and forceful lift.
CAUTION: Rapid Inflation can knock hanging fixtures from chain.
CANNOT SLIDE LIFTING PADS UNDER FRONT:
1. Tilt the front of the appliance by pushing against the top front.
2. Use your foot to slide a 1/2"thick block of wood under one corner.
3. Insert pads.
4. Remember to replace the block under the corner before turning off the
blower, and reverse the procedure.
Extend pads 4"beyond

FULLY INFLATED PADS DO NOT CONTACT APPLIANCE:
1. Bridge the gap with wooden blocks, on top of pads until
within 1/4"of the front and rear contact points.
FLOATING APPLIANCE IS LOWER IN REAR THAN IN FRONT:
Stepping on the front of the inflated pads near the hose connections
will force more air to the rear.
1. Move the floating appliance forward 6"to 12".
2. Turn the blower off and ensure pads extend 4"from back of appliance.
FLOATING APPLIANCE IS TOO WIDE TO FIT THROUGH NARROW ENTRY:
Use side entry approach. If appliance is still too wide, you may have to
remove doors.

local service shop.
