Attach the following parts to the mast 5.1:
- The loudspeaker bearer 5.2, radar bearer 5.3, spreader 5.4 and
lamp bearer 5.5.
- Cut the lamp housings 5.6 to 5.8 to size (see drawing), fit bulbs
in them and attach the lamps to the bearers. Run the wires down
the mast.
- Assemble the deck floodlights 5.9. Install one floodlight on the
mast, the second on the rear mast cover 5.10.
- Glue the mast bases 5.11 inside the moulding.
- Glue the rear mast cover 5.10 in place, running the deck flood-
light wires down inside the assembly.
- Glue the loudhailers 5.12 and the plinths 5.13 in place.
- Slip the aerial mast 5.14 through the masthead 5.15, fit the aeri-
al base 5.16 and glue the parts together.
- Drill 1 mm Ø holes in the aerial base. Assemble the aerials from
the split pins 5.17 and the brass rod 5.18. Cut the split pins to
length and solder them in place. Glue the prepared masthead
assembly to the mast.
- Cut the radar shaft 5.19 to length and glue it in the radar anten-
na 5.20. Assemble the parts of the radar unit 5.19 to 5.21.
- Attach this assembly to the radar bearer 5.3, taking care not to
allow glue to get onto the shaft.

- Cut out the control stand glazing 6.1 along the marked lines, and
sand the cut edges smooth.
- Trim the parts of the control stand 6.2 to 6.6 to fit together, and
glue the joints. Take care to keep the parts at the correct angle
to each other.
- Glue the top section 6.7 and the bottom section 6.8 of the infla-
table boat together, then glue the bottom in the boat.
- Glue the transom 6.10 and the assembled outboard motor 6.11
to the inflatable boat.
- Glue the completed inflatable boat to the boat supports 6.12.

- Trim the prepared control stand 6.2 to 6.6 to fit, and glue it to the
superstructure as shown.
- The superstructure should be painted overall at this point.
- Cut the glazing panels 7.1 to 7.6 to size in turn, referring to the
full-size drawing, and glue them to the inside of the superstruc-
ture using Pattex.
- Cut the handrails 7.7 to 7.9 to the stated lengths.
- Thread the railing stanchions 7.10 onto the rails.
- Insert the right and left railings, position the parts carefully, and
solder the rails to the stanchions. Caution: use a hot soldering
iron and complete each joint as quickly as possible, as excessi-
ve heat could damage the plastic and the painted surfaces.
- Paint the railing assemblies before gluing them permanently to
the deck.

- Glue the foghorns in place as shown.
- Install the ventilators 7.12 and the exhaust pipes 7.13.
- Place the mast assembly on the superstructure; the shaft 5.19
dictates the exact position.
- Glue the inflatable boat centrally to the rear base plate 4.8.
- Carefully invert the superstructure, without allowing the mast to
move. Mark two points on the underside of the mast through the
holes in the front base plate 4.1.
- Drill 1.5 mm Ø holes in the mast at the marked points, and secu-
re it using the self-tapping screws 7.14. The lamp wires should
be routed inside the superstructure at the same time.
