OPERATION:
POWER BUTTON:
Single press: cycle through beam strength
Double press: change colour
Hold: turn off
Note 1: Upon activation, the VRH150X will restore the
previously used brightness level.
Note 2: High power narrow beam is only available on
the white function.
Note 3: Night locaton feature is only available on the
green function.
STORAGE:
Before storing, ensure that the VRH150X is completely dry.
Store in a cool, dry place and ensure that the battery is
topped up to at least 50%. Long term storage of depleted
lithium batteries can cause unrepairable damage to the
cells which is not covered under guarantee.
CLEANING:
Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the surface and allow to
dry before storage. Do not use solvents as this may
cause unrepairable damage.

POWER AND CHARGING:
The onboard power display will illuminate momentarily
immediately before and after the device is turned on/off.
To recharge: open the rubber USB cover and use a
micro USB cable to connect to any CE / UL approved 5V
power source.
When charging is complete the VRH150X will
automatically stop accepting charge. The LEDs will
remain illuminated until the device is disconnected.
Full charge from empty will take approximately
3 - 3.5 hours.
Note: Ensure that the VRH150X is completely dry before
attempting to charge the device. Do not attempt to
charge the VRH150X in temperatures above 35C or
below 5C. Doing so will void your warranty and may
cause permanent damage to the internal lithium cells
of the device.

The figures are quoted as a guide only. Battery life
depends on a number of factors, including (but not
limited to) ambient temperature, condition & age of
battery, charging habits etc.
IP64 rating means that this device can withstand water
splashing from any direction, for example rain or boat
spray. It is not designed to be submerged for any period
of time.

GENERAL USAGE NOTES:
The VRH150X is classified in LED risk group 2, IEC 62471
(moderate risk). It is not recommended for use by children.
DO NOT:
•
look directly into the beam when lit
•
shine the VRH150X into another person’s eyes
•
attempt to use the VRH150X in temperatures above
45C or below -15C
•
attempt to charge the VRH150X in temperatures above
35C or below 5C
•
Do not submerge the device or its internal lithium
polymer battery
•
Do not puncture, pierce or put the VRH150X in a fire –
risk of explosion and release of toxic chemicals
Keep the VRH150X out of direct sunlight.
Always dispose of lithium products responsibly.
All lithium cells will degrade by approximately 10% per year
regardless of use, and approximately 20% per 300 charge
cycles. Run a full charge/discharge cycle at least once every
three months to avoid shortening the lifespan of the internal
battery.

WARRANTY:
RidgeMonkey provides customers with a comprehensive 24
month retailer guarantee on all products. Within the first 24
months following purchase please contact the original
retailer for any enquiries if you think you have a faulty
product. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Exclusions: normal wear and tear, normal battery
degradation, incorrect storage, modifications, accidental
damage, improper usage.
Do not attempt to modify or repair the VRH150X yourself.
Doing so will void your warranty.
