Important safety precautions
•
Please read and follow this user guide thoroughly before
using the SL16.
•
Incorrect use or incompatibility with your device may result
in reduced battery performance or damage to your device.
Verify device is 5V, for compatibility with the battery.
•
Do not attempt to disassemble product. Tampering with the
product can result in damage to your SL16, void the warranty,
and could cause injuries.
•
Store and operate between 32° F–113° F.
•
Do not allow this product to have contact with liquids.
•
Do not place unit near a heat source or ame.
•
Do not throw or shake.
•
Do not operate if unit has been subjected to shock or damage.
•
Do not crush or puncture the battery.
•
Recharge the battery every 3 months when not in use, to keep
the battery in the best condition.
•
Use a soft cloth to clean the exterior. Do not use harsh
chemicals or strong cleaning solvents.
•
The internal battery must be recycled or disposed of properly.
Contact your local waste management ofce for information on
proper disposal or recycling.
WARNING: Pursuant to California Proposition 65, this product
contains chemicals known to the state of California to cause
cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. Wash
hands after handling.

Setting up the SL16 for a smartphone,
mp3 device or tablet
1.
Place the SL16 on a at surface.
2.
Adjust the support to the desired position (one of two positions).
3.
Place the bottom of your device against the inside edge and
allow the rear of the device to rest against the support.

Charging your SL16
1.
Plug the micro-USB end of the included charge cable into the
5V IN port located on the side of the unit.
2.
Plug the other end of the charge cable into a powered
USB port, such as a computer, laptop or USB AC adaptor
(not included).
3.
When fully charged, all 4 LEDs will remain solid green.
Charging your device
1.
After your device is placed on the stand, plug one end of
your device’s original charge cable (not included) into the
2.4A OUT port on the side of the unit.
2.
Plug the other end of the charge cable into your device.
3.
Press and hold the Power button on the side of the unit.
4.
Once charging is complete, remove the cable from your device.
NOTE: The SL16 will automatically power off after one minute
of inactivity.
FCC information
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the
limits for a Class B Digital Device, pursuant to part 15 of the
FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable
protection against harmful interference in a residential
installation. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate

Warranty information
Schumacher Electric Corporation warrants to the original consumer
purchaser that this product will be free from defects in material
and workmanship for a period of 90 days from original purchase.
If a defect covered by this warranty is found, Schumacher Electric
Corporation, at its sole option, will repair or replace the product
at no charge. If a replacement is necessary, and the product is no
longer available, a comparable product may be substituted.
This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, abusive use
or misuse, modication, tampering or otherwise not related to
either materials or workmanship. This warranty does not apply
to products used for any industrial, professional or commercial
purposes.
Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.

Reglage le SL16 pour un smartphone,
lecteur mp3 ou tablette
1. Placez le SL16 sur une surface plane.
2. Réglez le support dans la position souhaitée (l’une des deux positions).
3. Placez le bord inférieur de votre appareil sur celui du support
et laissez l’arriere de l’appareil reposer sur le support.
