during intended used. In order to disconnect the unit from the mains completely, the AC
adapter should be disconnected from the mains socket outlet completely.
• The AC adapter of unit should not be obstructed OR should be easily accessed during
intended use.
• Minimum 10 cm (4 inches) distances around the unit for sufcient ventilations.
• The ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings with items
such as newspaper, table-cloths, curtains, etc.
• No naked ame sources such as lighted candles should be placed on the unit.
ON SAFETY
• Should any objects or liquids fall into the unit, disconnect the power supply and have the
unit checked by qualied personnel before any further operation.
• The unit shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that no objects lled with
liquid, such as vases, shall be placed on the unit.
ON USE
Never use the unit where it would be subject to:
- Heat sources such as radiators or air ducts.
- Direct sunlight.

ABOUT HDMI
High-Denition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) is a high-speed digital interface that can
transmit uncompressed high denition video and digital multichannel audio. It delivers
high quality picture and sound quality. HDMI is fully backward compatible with DVI. As
required by the HDMI standard, connecting to HDMI or DVI products without HDCP (High
bandwidth Digital Content Protection) will result in no Video or Audio output.
USING THE AC ADAPTER
Using an AC adapter other than the one supplied with the unit may damage the unit.
Caution:
• Before use, ensure the rated voltage of the adapter matches your local voltage.
• The included AC adapter is for use with this unit only. Do not use it with other equipment.
• If you are not going to use the unit for a long time, disconnect the AC adapter from the wall
outlet.
• Whenever the AC adapter is plugged in to a wall outlet, the AC adapter will draw some
power, even when the Sound Bar is turned off.

USING THE REMOTE CONTROL
• Point the remote control at the REMOTE
SENSOR located on the unit.
• When using this unit in very bright light,
the infrared REMOTE SENSOR may not
work properly.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
When the batteries become weak, the operating distance of the remote control is greatly
reduced and you will need to replace them.
Notes:
• If the remote control is not going to be used for a long time, remove the batteries to avoid
corrosion damage caused by battery leakage.
• Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix ALKALINE, standard (CARBON-ZINC) or
rechargeable (NICKEL-CADMIUM) batteries.
• Always remove batteries as soon as they become weak.
• Weak batteries can leak and severely damage the remote control.
• WARNING: Do not dispose of batteries in a re. Batteries may explode or leak.
CAUTION:
Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or
equivalent type.

This universal remote control can control this DVD Soundbar as well as your other devices
e.g. TV, Cable (Set top box/Satellite box) and Blu-ray/DVD player at home. You need to
program it before use. Follow the instructions of how to program as per the instructions
attached separately.

CONNECTIONS
POSITIONING THE UNIT
HDMI CONNECTION
Connecting to your TV (HDMI)
Connect a HDMI cable to the HDMI OUT
jack on this DVD Soundbar to the HDMI IN
jack on your TV so the video content goes
from the DVD Soundbar to the screen.
Place the DVD Soundbar on a at
surface. For optimal performance,
the soundbar should be centered
underneath the TV or monitor. Be
sure there is nothing blocking the
front of the DVD soundbar, and the
space between the soundbar and the
surface is not obstructed.

B. Connect a COAXIAL Cable (not included) from the COAXIAL IN jack to the COAXIAL OUT
jack of your TV, Set-Top Box or Blu-ray/DVD Player.
Then press DIGITAL IN button twice on the remote control or SOURCE button on the
Soundbar to select COAXIAL IN mode.
When COAXIAL IN is selected, the DIGITAL IN LED indicator located on front of Soundbar
will ash slowly.
CONNECT WITH A TV AND OTHER AUDIO DEVICES
A. Connect an Optical Cable (not included) from the OPTICAL IN jack to the OPTICAL OUT
jack of your TV, Set-Top Box or Blu-ray/DVD Player.
Press DIGITAL IN button once on the remote control or SOURCE button on the
Soundbar to select OPTICAL IN mode.
Note: OPTICAL IN and COAXIAL IN supports PCM signal only. You may need to activate
PCM (Downmix) on your source device, e.g. TV, Set-Top Box or Blu-ray/DVD Player.
When OPTICAL IN is selected, the DIGITAL IN LED indicator located on front of Soundbar
will illuminate.
