to operate your new Generator. Please read it carefully before
operating for best results.
All information in this manual is based on the latest product
information available at the time of printing. The contents in this
manual may be different from the actual parts due to revisions
and other changes.

generator and should accompany the generator if it is resold.

SAFETY MESSAGES
Your safety and the safety of others is very important. There is
important safety information in this manual and on the
generator. Please read this information carefully.
According to ANSI Z535,a safety message alerts you to
potential hazards. Each safety message is preceded by a safety
alert symbol and one of these words:DANGER, WARNING,
CAUTION or NOTICE. See below:
DANGER
Indicates a hazardous situation which, if not avoided, will result in death
or serious injury. This signal word is to be limited to the most extreme
situations.
WARNING:
Indicates a hazardous situation which, if not avoided, could result in
death or serious injury.
CAUTION
Indicates a hazardous situation, which, if not avoided, could result in
minor or moderate injury. It may also be used without the safety alert
symbol as an alternative to “NOTICE.”
NOTICE
“NOTICE” is the preferred signal word to address practices not
related to personal injury. The safety alert symbol shall not be used
with this signal word. As an alternative to “NOTICE,” the word
“CAUTION” without the safety alert symbol may be used to indicate
a message not related to personal injury.

SAFETY NOTICE
Safety Standard
Read and understand this owner's manual before operating your

Special Requirements
Electrical equipment, including lines and plug connections should be
covered and protected from moisture.
The circuit breakers should match the generator specifications. If the
circuit breakers require replacement, they must be replaced with a
circuit breaker of the same ratings and performance characteristics.
The National Electrical Code requires generators to be grounded to
an approved earth ground. Before using the ground terminal, consult
a qualified electrician, electrical inspector, or local agency having
jurisdiction for local codes or ordinances that apply for the intended
use of the generator.
Don't allow fuel to overflow while
refueling.
Stop the engine before refueling.
Please keep at least 3 feet (1m) away from flammable materials.
If using extension cords, follow these requirements:
1.5mm2, cords should not exceed 197 ft. (60m)
2.5mm2, cords should not exceed 328 ft. (100m.)
