1. SAFETY INFORMATION
Before using this electrical appliance, carefully read
these instructions and keep the user manual for
future reference:
1. This appliance is for domestic use only. Any
other use (professional) is excluded.
2. Before connecting the appliance to a wall

4. USE
4.1 Charge the appliance
Battery level can be displayed on the appliance. When fully charged, “100” is displayed.
Connect the supplied power adapter to the DC connector at the bottom of the appliance, and
to the mains. While charging, the icon lights up.
4.2 Attach a cutting guide
A cutting guide (7) is practical and ensures an even cut. The appliance comes with
six cutting guides of the following sizes which are marked on the back of the guides:
3mm/6mm/9mm/12mm/20mm/30mm respectively.
Important: always turn off the appliance before you attach or detach a cutting guide.

EN -Attach a cutting guide. Select a desired cutting guide. Align the cutting guide and the
cutting blade (1) in the same level as shown in the gure below, then slide the cutting guide
onto the cutting head unti you hear a click.
-Detach a cutting guide. As shown in the gure below, apply some force on the cutting
guide to slide it out of the cutting head.
4.3 Start and operate the appliance
-Turn on the appliance. Press the button to switch on the appliance. The appliance
starts working, and the current battery level is displayed.
-Set the cutting length. Turn the cutting length adjustment knob (3) to one of the positions
marked from “0.8” to “2.0mm” range to adjust the cutting length.
-Select the turbo speed. After turning on the appliance, you can press the button again
to switch to the turbo speed. The indicator lights up. In this mode, the appliance
works in a faster speed.
-Switch off the appliance. Press the button once or more until the appliance stops
working.
4.4 Lock/unlock the control button
1. When the appliance is switched off, press and hold the button (about 4 seconds) until
the icon lights up and ashes, and the locking function is activated. In the locking state,
button operation is invalid.
2. In the locking state, press and hold the button (about 4 seconds) until the appliance is
switched on, and the locking function is deactivated.
5. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
- Remove the cutting guide after each use.
- Clean the cutting blade regularly to maintain optimal performance.
- For easier cleaning, the cutting blade can be removed.
-Remove the cutting blade. Turn off the clipper. Press on the end of the cutting blade (as
indicated in the gure below) to unlock the blade, then take the blade out.
- Clean the cutting blade with the cleaning brush to remove excess hair.
-Replace the cutting blade. Insert the cutting blade by aligning the tab and the slot as
indicated by “A” and “B” in the gure below, and turn the cutting length adjustment knob (3)
to the position marked “2.0mm”, then press on the blade until you hear a click.

Lubrication of the cutting blade
The cutting blade of your hair clipper has a reservoir that delivers the amount of oil needed
for your clipper to function correctly. It is nonetheless recommended to ll up the reservoir
periodically or when you notice that the clipper is not performing as well as it used to.
- Remove the cutting blade as described above.
- Carefully place a few drops of oil in the reservoir.
- Replace the cutting blade as described above.
- Use an oil specially formulated for hair clippers.
6. GUARANTEES
Guarantees and limitations of liability
Products are guaranteed for a period of 36 months from the date of purchase, or from the
date of delivery to the customer’s home. Depending on the country, this guarantee consists
of 24 to 36 months of validity for the legal compliance guarantee.
For countries that only implement a 24-month legal compliance guarantee, a 12-month
commercial guarantee is applied at the end of the rst guarantee, and supplements it.

Please consult your retailer for information and/or to refer to their GTCs (General Terms and
Conditions of Sale).
For the commercial guarantee
Please go to the reception desk at your place of purchase with your proof of purchase (e.g.
sales receipt), the product and the accessories it came with, and its original packaging, for all
countries other than France. It is important to have the date of purchase, the model and the
serial number or IMEI number to hand (this information is usually indicated on the product,
packaging, or on your proof of purchase). You’ll need to bring back the product with the
accessories needed for its correct functioning (power supply, adapter, etc.). If your claim is
covered by the guarantee, the after-sales service may, within the limits of local law, either:
■ Repair or replace faulty parts.
■ Exchange the returned product with a product that has, at the least, the same features
and that offers equivalent performances.

EN ■Refund the product at the price stated on the proof of purchase.
Repaired or replaced products may include new and/or reconditioned hardware and
components.
Commercial guarantee exclusions:
■ Damages or problems caused by improper use, accident, tampering/modication or an
unsuitable current or voltage connection.
■ Use or storage conditions which are detrimental to the good conservation of the
appliance (oxidation, corrosion), use of energy, use or installation non-compliant
with the manufacturer’s instructions, or negligence or use of peripherals, software or
consumables which are unsuitable.
■ Professional or collective, industrial or commercial use of the product.
■ Products that have been modied, or which have damaged, altered, erased or oxidised
guarantee seals or serial numbers.
■ Replaceable batteries and accessories are guaranteed for 6 months.
■ Battery failure, caused by overcharging or by failure to follow the safety instructions set
out in the manual.
■ Cosmetic damage, including scratches, bumps or vandalism.
■ Damage caused by any servicing operations carried out by non-authorised persons.
■ Faults caused by normal wear and tear or the normal ageing of the product: seals,
lters, accessories, vacuum cleaner brush and hose, lamps, overhead projector lamps,
washing machine paddles, etc.
■ Software updates as a consequence of changes to network settings.
■ Damage caused by elements external to the appliance (foreign bodies, insects, etc.).
■ The contents of the devices - freezer, washing machine, etc. (food, clothing, etc.)
■ Product failure caused by the use of third-party software to modify, change, adapt or
alter the product as is.
■ Product failure resulting from its use without the accessories supplied with the product or
approved by the Manufacturer.
■ Parts for normal wear and tear or damage from use: tyre, inner tube, brake, etc.
The customer is responsible for regularly backing up the data contained on their hard disk or
in the internal memory of their device, and this before any claim is submitted.
Auchan cannot be held liable for the loss or destruction of stored data, nor may it be
held liable for damage caused to software resulting from, in particular, a restoration or a
breakdown.
Similarly, Auchan is not required to check that SIM/SD cards have been removed from
returned products.
Under no circumstances shall the provisions set out above reduce or eliminate: the legal
guarantee referred to above, and the manufacturer’s commercial guarantee, if applicable
(see guarantee form).
