CONTENT OVERVIEW :
1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read this manual thoroughly before rst use. It contains
important safety information as well as instructions
concerning the use and maintenance of the appliance.
Keep these instructions for future reference and pass
them on to possible new owners of the appliance.
1. The surfaces are liable to get hot during use.
Do not touch hot surfaces.
2. To protect against electrical hazards, do not
immerse the appliance, power cord or plug in
water or any other liquids. Never rinse them under the
tap. (see CLEANING AND CARE).
3. Regarding the instructions for cleaning surfaces in
contact with food or oil. (see CLEANING AND CARE).
4. To avoid the risk of an electrical shock, do not place
liquids of any kind into the main unit containing the
electrical components.
5. This appliance is not intended to be operated by
means of an external timer or separate remote control
system.
6. This appliance shall not be used by children from
0 year to 8 years. This appliance can be used by
children from 8 years and above if they are continuously
supervised. This appliance can be used by people with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack

of experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance
in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Keep
the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged
less than 8 years. Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be made by children.
7. Children shall not play with the appliance.
8. Make sure the appliance is plugged into a wall outlet.
Always make sure that the plug is inserted into the wall
outlet properly.
9. Always turn the power o at the power outlet before
you insert or remove a plug. Remove by grasping the
plug. Do not pull on the cord.
10. Do not use this appliance if the plug, power cord or
the appliance itself is damaged in any way.
11. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualied
persons in order to avoid a hazard.
12. To avoid spillage on the connector, do not overll the
frying basket.
13. Cooking appliances should be positioned in a stable
situation with the handles positioned to avoid spillage of
the hot liquids. When cooking, do not place the appliance
against a wall or other devices. Ensure there is a gap of
at least 150mm (5”) on all sides of the appliance. Do not
place anything on top of the appliance.
14. The use of accessory attachments not recommended
by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
15. Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces. Do not
plug in the power cord or operate the control panel with
wet hands.
16. Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of table
counters or allow it to touch hot surfaces.

EN 17. When the power socket serves as the means to
disconnect the appliance, the power socket must remain
easily accessible.
18. Do not place the appliance on or near a hot gas stove
or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
19. Do not use the appliance for any purpose other than
described in this manual. Misuse of the appliance may
cause injury.
20. Never operate the appliance unattended.
21. If the appliance emits black smoke, unplug it
immediately and wait for the smoke to stop before
removing the frying basket.
22. This appliance is intended for household use only. It
is not intended for outdoor use.
23. Defective electrical appliances must be recycled,
not disposed of with household waste. Help us to
actively engage in our actions to conserve
resources and protect the environment by placing this
appliance in a collection centre or drop-o centre.
24. This appliance is intended to be used in household
and similar applications such as:
– sta kitchen areas in shops, oces and other working
environments;
– farm houses;
– by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type
environments;
– bed and breakfast type environments.
25. The appliance must not be immersed.

4. BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Unpack the appliance and all parts.
2. Make sure the appliance is not damaged and that there are no missing accessories.
Contact our after-sales service if there any missing or damaged parts.
3. Clean the appliance and all accessories (see “CLEANING AND CARE” in section 6).
5. OPERATING INSTRUCTONS
5.1. USING THE DEEP FRYER
1. Make sure that the ON/OFF switch (2) is set to the o position “O” and the arrow on
THERMOSTAT dial (1) is pointing to the o position “0”.
2. Press the LID OPEN button (5) and lift up the lid. Press the button on the frying
basket (6) handle to extend the handle when cooking or fold away the handle after
cooking. Remove the frying basket (6).
3. Pour the appropriate amount of oil into the oil tank (10) and close the lid (7).
Note: The oil in the tank must not be lower than the minimum line or higher
than the maximum line.
4. Plug the appliance into the mains socket. The red HEATING and green
TEMPERATURE indicator lights (3/4) will turn on.
Note: If the green TEMERATURE indicator light (4) does not turn on, the oil
tank (10) is incorrectly positioned in the base (11). Check and adjust until the
light turns on.

EN 5. Press the ON/OFF switch (2) to the on position “I”. Turn the THERMOSTAT dial
(1) clockwise to the desired cooking temperature (0°C to 190°C). The green
TEMPERATURE indicator light (4) will turn o to show the appliance is heating the
oil. Wait 10 to 15 minutes until the appliance has reached the set temperature. The
green TEMPERATURE indicator light (4) will turn on when the set temperature has
been reached.
6. Press the LID OPEN button (5) and lift up the lid. Place the food items into the frying
basket (6). Slowly lower the frying basket (6) into the oil. Shut the lid (7) (until it
clicks into place) to prevent oil splashes. Look through the window (8) to check the
cooking status of the food.
Note:
(1) During the cooking process, the green TEMPERATURE indicator light (4)
may turn on and o several times. This indicates that the appliance is turning
the heating plate on and o in order to maintain the cooking temperature at
the selected level.
(2) The appliance may emit a large amount of steam at the beginning of the
cooking process. This is due to the water content of the food and water on
the surface of the food. Careful, the steam may escape from the gap between
the lid and the oil tank.
7. Once the food is cooked, open the lid carefully. Lift up the frying basket and x it
onto the front lip of the oil tank in the oil draining position. To further remove oil from
the food, tip the ingredients onto absorbent towel (kitchen towel).
8. After cooking, turn the THERMOSTAT dial (1) to the o position “0” and press the
ON/OFF button (2) to the o position “O”. Keep the lid (7) up and place the frying
basket (6) in the oil draining position. Unplug the appliance and wait for 2-3 hours
for it to cool down.
9. Clean the appliance after each use (see “CLEANING AND CARE” in section 6).
Note: The appliance does not have a dry burn protection function. Never let
the oil go below the minimum mark otherwise you will damage it.
RISK OF FIRE: Overheated oil can ignite very quickly. Never leave heating
oil unsupervised. Should the oil ignite, do not try to put it out by pouring
water on it. Cover the fryer with the lid and/or re blanket immediately.
Turn o and unplug the appliance.
Note: Only add oil to the oil tank. Do not pour in other liquids such as milk or
coee.
Warning: Do not add water, wet foods or icy frozen foods to the appliance
because this will cause the oil to splatter and can lead to injuries. Do not
touch any metal surfaces of the appliance as they are hot and can cause
burns.
6. CLEANING AND CARE
Warning:
■Do not immerse the power cord, plug, or base in water or any other liquids as they
contain electrical components. Do not rinse them under the tap.
■ Allow the appliance to cool down completely before cleaning. The oil tank and the
appliance will remain hot for some hours after use.

Note: Do not scrape the oil tank, as this may cause it to malfunction or damage the
parts. Follow the steps below to clean the appliance:
Before rst use
Boil water in the oil tank to remove any manufacturing residue, and then pour away the
boiled water. Wipe the oil tank dry, ensure no water remains in the tank.
Cleaning after each use
1. Filter the oil if you are to use it again. Remove old oil into a sealable container and
dispose of it according to local household waste regulations.
2. Remove and wash the frying basket and oil container in warm soapy water with a
soft cloth. Soak to remove stubborn stains.
3. Wipe the base with a damp cloth moistened with soapy water.
4. Allow all parts to dry completely before using the appliance.
Cleaning the lter
The lter should be checked regularly and cleaned when dirty. Pull the lter (9) out from
the back of the lid and wash in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
7. GUARANTEES AND LIMITATIONS OF
LIABILITY
This product is guaranteed for a period of 36 months (including the legal guarantee of
24 months as dened by local law as well as a commercial guarantee of 12 additional
months oered by the brand) from the date of purchase, against any failure resulting
from a manufacturing or material defect.
This guarantee does not cover damage resulting from a faulty installation, incorrect use,
or normal wear and tear.More specically, the guarantee does not cover:
■ Damage or problems caused by incorrect use, accidents, modications or an
electrical connection with the wrong current or voltage.
■ Products that have been modied or whose tamper evident seal or serial number
has been damaged, altered, removed or rusted.
■ Replaceable batteries and accessories are guaranteed for 6 months.
■ Battery failure, as a result of over-charging or non-compliance with the safety
instructions set out in the manual
■ Cosmetic damage, including scratches, bumps and any other element.
■ Damage caused by any servicing operations carried out by non-authorised persons.
■Faults caused by normal wear and tear or the normal ageing of the product
■ Software updates as a consequence of changes to network settings
■Product failure resulting from the use of third party software to modify, change or
adapt the product as supplied
■ Product failure resulting from its use without manufacturer-approved accessories
■Rusted products
The manufacturer is not liable for the loss of data stored on the hard drive. Similarly,
the manufacturer is not required to check that SIM/SD cards have been removed from
returned products.
Repaired or replaced products may include new and/or repackaged hardware and
components.

EN IMPLEMENTATION METHODS
To make a claim under the guarantee, please return your product to the reception desk
of your local sales outlet with the proof of purchase (receipt, invoice, etc.) of the product
and accessories supplied, along with the original packaging.
The following information will be required: date of purchase, model and serial or IMEI
number (this information generally features on the product, the packaging or proof of
purchase).
Failing this, you must return the product with all accessories needed for it to work properly
(power cable, adapter etc.).
If your product is covered by the guarantee, the after-sales service will (within the bounds
of the local legislation):
■Repair or replace the faulty parts
■Exchange the returned product with a product which has the same features or
better and is equivalent in terms of performance.
■ Refund the product at the price stated on the proof of purchase.
In the case of a repair covered by the guarantee, your guarantee period will be extended
by 6 months. This period cannot be combined in the event of repeated failures.
