This statement replaces any reference to warranty which may be contained elsewhere within this manual.
What do you need to do now?
• Keep your proof of purchase as evidence of your purchase date. This proof of purchase would need to be presented if warranty service
was ever required.

What’s covered by this warranty?
• Pure agrees to refund, repair or replace, at your election, without charge to you, any part found to be defective during the warranty period.
• If equipment has been used according to its accompanying instruction manual and is used in a domestic situation, a three year warranty
period applies.

contact us form.
What’s NOT covered by this warranty?
Under this express warranty Pure will not be liable for loss or damage of any kind whatsoever, whether direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or otherwise.
• Replacement of parts due to normal wear and tear.
• Products with serial number defacement, modification or removal.
• Water damage or corrosion caused by dampness.
• Any damage or deterioration due to shipment.
• Any product which has been subjected to misuse, abuse or accident.
Australian consumers —The benefits to the consumer given by this express warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies of the consumer
under a law in relation to the goods or services to which this warranty relates. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the
Australian Consumer Law, You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable
loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not
amount to a major failure.

Voca safety instructions
1. Read these instructions – All the safety and operating instructions should be read before this product is operated.
2. Keep these instructions – The safety and operating instructions should be retained for future reference.
3. Heed all warnings – All warnings on the appliance and in the operating instructions should be adhered to.
4. Follow all instructions – All operating and use instructions should be followed.
5. Clean only with dry cloth.
6. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
7. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
8. Unplug the apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
9. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
10. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove plastic cover or screws as there are no user-serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified personnel.
11. Avoid liquids getting into Voca. Should not be immersed in water, or used where this may happen, such as a bathroom.
12. The equipment’s ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings with items such as newspaper, tablecloths, curtains etc.
13. WARNING Please refer to the information on the bottom exterior of the enclosure for electrical and safety information before installing or operating the apparatus.
14. WARNING To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this apparatus to rain or moisture. The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that
objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall not be placed on apparatus.
15. WARNING: The direct plug-in adapter is used as disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily operable.
16. This equipment is a Class II or double insulated electrical appliance. It has been designed in such a way that it does not require a safety connection to electrical earth.
WARNING: Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with a genuine Pure internal Li-ion rechargeable battery. Battery replacement should only be
carried out by Pure or authorised representatives.
To replace the battery pack, contact your local dealer or visit the Pure technical support site at support-uk.pure.com.
Dispose of the battery as per normal Lithium ion rechargeable batteries according to the local laws and regulations of your region. Some batteries may be accepted for
disposal at your local recycling centre.
Do not tear or remove the plastic covering or any part of the battery. Do not puncture, modify, drop, throw, or cause other unnecessary shocks to the battery. Batteries
may present a risk of fire, explosion, or chemical burn if mistreated.
Do not dispose of the battery in a fire or incinerator, or leave in hot places such as a motor car under direct sunlight. Do not store batteries near an oven, stove, or other
heat source.
Do not connect the battery directly to an electrical source, such as a building outlet or automobile power-point. Do not place batteries into a microwave oven, or into any
other high-pressure container.
Do not immerse the battery in water or otherwise get it wet.
Do not short circuit the battery.

Getting started
1. If you want to use mains power and charge the battery, insert
the connector of the mains power adapter into the socket on
the rear of Voca and plug in to the mains power supply.

2. Hold down the power button
( )
on the top of Voca until you
hear a beep.
Voca can be powered using the mains power supply or with its built-in rechargeable battery. If you are not using the mains
power supply and Voca’s battery needs charging, the power button ( ) will start to flash orange. When Voca has finished
charging, the power button ( ) light will turn off.

4. Switch on Bluetooth on your Bluetooth device and select
`Voca’ from the list of available devices (see your Bluetooth
device manual if you need help doing this).
Voca will sound a tone and the Bluetooth icon ( ) on the
top of Voca will light steady blue to show you that it has
successfully paired with your Bluetooth device.
5. Select the content that you want to listen to on your
Bluetooth device.
Your selected content will start to play on Voca.
Note: Voca will automatically enter standby after 30 minutes
of inactivity.
3. Check that the Bluetooth icon ( ) on the top of Voca is
flashing blue. If not, press the Bluetooth button until it starts
to flash blue.

Using Voca as a speakerphone
If you have paired Voca to a mobile phone, you can also use Voca as a speakerphone (see step 4 on page 7 to find out
how to pair your phone to Voca).
Note: Make sure that you are close enough to speak into the microphone when making phone calls.
Making a phone call
To make a phone call using Voca, dial the number that you
want to call on your mobile phone. When you have finished
your call, briefly press the button.
Answering an incoming call
When your phone receives a call, Voca will stop playing
whatever you are listening to and make a ringing sound. To
answer the call, briefly press the button. Briefly press the
button again when you want to end the call. If you were
listening to content stored on your phone, Voca will switch
back to whatever you were listening to previously.
Rejecting an incoming call
If you receive a call that you do not want to answer, hold down
the button.
