źA moment of carelessness may cause losing control of your tool.
źDisorder and insufficient lighting lead to accidents.
źDo not lean out too far when working with your power tool.
źMaintain a stable posture and balance. This allows you to keep better
control of your power tool in unforeseen situations.
źKeep your workplace tidy and well lit.
źBe careful when working with power tools, concentrate on your work
and use common sense. Do not use a power tool when tired or under
the inuence of drugs, alcohol or medication. Even a moment of
carelessness while working with a power tool can lead to a serious
accident.
źAvoid starting the power tool unintentionally. Make sure the power
switch is in the OFF position before connecting the power tool to the
mains. Carrying a power tool with your nger on its trigger or
plugging in a power tool after switching it on can lead to accidents.
źOnly Original accessories should be used, as well as accessories
recommended by the manufacturer. Using accessories which are not
recommended by the manufacturer may result in damage of the
device and may render the device unsafe for use.
źKeep children away from the work area and DO NOT allow children to
pull on the power cord - this can cause serious injury.
źIf it is possible to t power tools for dust extraction or collection,
check that they are tted and working correctly.
źUsing such power tools reduces the risk posed by the presence of
dust.
źWear appropriate clothing. Do not work in loose clothing and do not
wear jewellery while working. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves
away from moving parts. The moving parts of a power tool can catch
and pull in loose pieces of clothing, jewellery or long hair.
źRemove any spanners or tools from the power tool before starting it.
A tool or spanner still connected to the rotating part of the power
tool may cause personal injury.
źDo not use power tools in explosive atmospheres, i.e. in the presence

źThis tool should not be used by anyone under the age of 16.
źSecure the workpiece. Clamping the workpiece in a clamping device
or vice is safer than holding it by hand.
źUse only sharp blades in perfect condition. Condition to replace:
cracked, distorted or blunt.
źLoss of control of the power tool may result in personal injury.
źHold the device by the insulated handle as the blade may run over
the electrical wires or its own power cord when cutting.
źAfter nishing work, always wait for the device to come to complete
stop.
źThe device may only be used in a dry, well-lit environment.
źHold the power tool rmly. High reaction torques may periodically
occur while tightening and loosening screws and bolts.
źEnsure that the vents are free from debris.
źUse appropriate detectors to locate the installation or seek assistance
from your local service provider. Contact with live wires may result in
a re or electric shock. Damage to the gas tube may lead to an
explosion. Bursting of a water pipe leads to material damage.
źWhen carrying out work where the tool or clamping attachment
could come into contact with concealed electric wires, hold the power
tool only by insulated surfaces. Contact of the tool or clamping
attachment with a live electrical conductor may cause voltage to be
transmitted to non-insulated metal parts of the power tool, causing
a risk of electric shock.
źMake sure the foot adjustment screws are tightened before resuming
work.
źMake sure that the saw blade does not touch other objects when the
tool is switched on.
źChoose the right blade for the material, stroke frequency and pendu-
lum.
źBefore making any adjustments, changing accessories or storing the
power tool, move the switch to the off position to disconnect the
power tool from the power supply. Such precautions reduce the risk
of accidentally starting the power tool.
6
TJS41

źDo not saw objects with a larger diameter/thickness than the length
of the blade.
źUse the blades according to their intended use, and before cutting
the material, inspect them carefully for foreign objects such as nails
or screws.
źDo not turn off the power tool during operation, it may get stuck and
you may lose control of the device if you try to switch it on again.

The knob is used to set the motor speed within the range specied in the technical data.
źRemember to wait after work because the blade may be hot.
źMake sure the device is disconnected from the power source.
INSTALLING THE GUIDE
The control changes the blade oscillation frequenc y which is particularly important when cutting various
types of materials susceptible to high temperature, such as plastics.
1. Insert the plug into the wall socked and then press the button (5) to tur n the device on
2. To set the undercutting, select the movement of the blade pendulum to the material that will be worked
on. Adjustment in the range of 0-3 is possible, with the knob in mode 0, the undercutting is disabled, and
in mode 3 the undercutting is at the top range. The undercutting is used for faster and easier cutting of
materials. Do not cut hard materials such as metal in the undercutting mode.
1. Make sure the device is disconnected from the power source.
2. Place the guide in the front of the foot in the holes provided for this purpose.
3. Set the guide size you need to achieve and then tighten the xing screws .
To change the rotation speed use the adjustment k nob (1).
źWhen replacing the blade make sure that:
SPEED CONTROL
When the device is ready for operation, connect the power cord to the power source.
3. The machine allows cutting at an angle 45 o. To cut at an angle: Make sure the device is disconnected from
the power source. Loosen the xing screws at the bottom of the foot until the foot can be extended, set
the position you need. Move the foot to the position you want to get.
OPERATION
źThe blade holder is free from other materials
źAlways check that the blade is securely clamped before use
Blade removal:
źLoosen the two bolts of the blade chuck and take the blade out.
4. Tighten the xing screws.
źThe device is equipped with a chuck that holds the blade with t wo bolts.
źPlace the blade in the chuck.
źLoosen the two chuck bolts.
źTighten the blade chuck.
Note: While installing or replacing the work tool, the device should be disconnected from the power source.
Blade installation:
źMake sure the device is disconnected from the power source.
