use are part of the product. They contain important information
concerning safety, use and disposal. Before using the product, please
familiarise yourself with all of the safety information and instructions
for use. Only use the product as described and for the specified appli-
cations. If you pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure that
you also pass on all the documentation with it.

Intended use
This product is only suitable for private use in dry indoor
locations, e.g. in workshops or garages. The product with-
stand extreme physical conditions of vibration (1.0 m²/s³
200–2000Hz). The product is not intended for commercial use or for
use in other applications.
This product is not suitable for household room
illumination.

Safety instructions
Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all of the
safety information and instructions for use! When passing this product
on to others, please also include all the documents!
DANGER TO LIFE AND RISK
OF ACCIDENTS FOR INFANTS AND CHILDREN!
Never leave children unsupervised with the packaging
material. Always keep children away from the packaging material.
This product may be used by children aged 8 years and up, as well
as by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities,
or those lacking experience and/or knowledge provided they are
supervised or instructed in the safe use of the product and they un-
derstand the associated risks. Do not allow children to play with the
product. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed
by children without supervision.
This product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of
children. Children are not aware of the dangers associated with
handling electrical products.
Do not use the product if you detect any type of damage.
Protect the product from moisture and humidity. Never immerse the
product in water or other liquids!
Only connect the product to a properly installed mains socket or a
suitable 12V socket. The voltages in each case must comply with
information given in the section “Technical data”.
Ensure that the electrical socket is easily accessible so that you
can pull the power adapter quickly out of the socket if necessary.
Do not carry out any modifications or repairs to the product yours
elf.
The LEDs cannot and must not be replaced.
The LEDs are not replaceable.
If the LEDs fail at the end of their lifes, the entire product must be
replaced.

Dispose of the product when the product, the USB cable 13 or the
mains adapter and car charger adapter are damaged.
Ensure the USB cable 13 cannot become damaged by sharp edges
or hot objects. Unwind the USB cable 13 completely before use.
Protect the product from extreme heat and cold.
Do not attach the hook 5to hot objects. The weight of the product
can then morph the shape of the hook 5.
This product may only be charged with the power adapter 11 or
car charger adapter 12 provided.
Please be aware that while the adapters are plugged in, they use
a small amount of power, even when the product is not switched on.
To take the adapters out of operation, unplug from the socket, or
remove the car charger adapter 12 from the 12V supply.
The power adapter 11 and the USB cable 13 provided are only
suitable for use with the product.
LEDs are very bright, therefore do not look directly into the product.
Safety instructions for batteries/
rechargeable batteries
DANGER TO LIFE! Keep batteries / rechargeable batteries out
of reach of children. If accidentally swallowed seek immediate
medical attention.
DANGER OF EXPLOSION! Never recharge non-
rechargeable batteries. Do not short-circuit batteries/
rechargeable batteries and/ or open them. Overheating,
fire or bursting can be the result.
Never throw batteries/rechargeable batteries into fire or water.
Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries/rechargeable batteries.
Risk of leakage of batteries/rechargeable batteries
Avoid extreme environmental conditions and temperatures, which
could affect batteries/rechargeable batteries, e.g. radiators/
direct sunlight.
If batteries/rechargeable batteries have leaked, avoid contact
with skin, eyes and mucous membranes with the chemicals! Flush
immediately the affected areas with fresh water and seek medical
attention!
WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES! Leaked or damaged
batteries/rechargeable batteries can cause burns on
contact with the skin. Wear suitable protective gloves at
all times if such an event occurs.
This product has a built-in rechargeable battery which cannot be
replaced by the user. The removal or replacement of the recharge-
able battery may only be carried out by the manufacturer or his
customer service or by a similarly qualified person in order to
avoid hazards. When disposing of the product, it should be noted
that this product contains a rechargeable battery.

Before use
Charging the product
Note: Remove all packaging materials from the product.
Note: You can recharge the product using a normal household socket
or using your car‘s 12V connection.
Note: The fuse of the car charger adapter 12 can be exchanged.
The technical data of the fuse must comply with information given in
the section “Technical data”. The fuse may only be replaced by a
qualified electrician.
CAUTION! Do not connect the product to your car‘s 12V connection
if the car battery is already old and worn. Doing so could mean that
the car engine will no longer start.
Note: In order to use the product without a USB cable 13 , you need
to recharge the rechargeable battery before use. The charging process
takes about 4 to 5hours. The rechargeable battery is firmly integrated
into the base of the product.
Note: Charge the product for approx. 12 hours prior to first use.
Connect the USB cable

with the USB connector of the power
adapter
11 or the car charger adapter 12 .
Connect the micro-USB connector on the USB cable 13 to the
micro-USB input socket 7on the product.
Plug the power adapter 11 into a socket, or plug the car charger
adapter 12 into the 12V socket in your vehicle.
Note: During charging, the charging indicator 6lights up red. When
charging is complete, the charging indicator 6lights up green. When
the charging indicator 6is green, pull the power adapter 11 out of
the socket or the car charger adapter 12 from the 12V connection.
Disconnect the mains adapter and car charger adapter from the prod-
uct to prevent the rechargeable battery from discharging.
Use
RISK OF ACCIDENT! Preferably do not use the product whilst
driving the vehicle. When using the product in a vehicle, be sure this does
not endanger the driver or the passengers. Always store and secure the
product so that even full braking does not pose a risk of injury from the
product or product damage.
The product may be secured with the hook 5or by securing it to
a flat, ferromagnetic surface using the magnetic base 3or the
magnet 10 at the back. Use the joint 9to tilt the product up to
180° on the magnetic base 3.
CAUTION! Please note the position of your hands whilst turning
the magnetic base 3to prevent pinching your fingers (see Fig. C).
