6. Do not shine the light beam directly into eyes. Temporary dizziness may be
caused by the light beam striking eyes.
7. Avoid dropping the spotlight or subjecting it to an impact against a rigid
surface or object.
8. Do not use spotlight while charging directly from an AC outlet. Doing so
will damage the battery and AC charger. Always unplug the charger from
power source and spotlight before use.
9. Never place the spotlight face down when light is on or is still hot from
recent use. Doing so could burn/ignite surfaces such as seats, carpeting,
etc. and cause major property damage.
10. Do not touch the lens of the spotlight when the light is on or if it was
recently on. The lens will be hot and could cause serious burns.
11. Do not allow the battery to completely discharge. This will damage a
lithium battery. A dim light indicates a low battery. Recharge the battery as
soon as possible.
BATTERY CHARGER SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
WARNING! Never burn batteries, as they can explode in a fire. Do not charge
leaking batteries. Only a qualified service technician should perform
maintenance on batteries. Contact local solid waste authorities for
instructions on correct disposal or recycling of batteries.
1. Only use the chargers included with this tool to recharge the internal battery.
Other chargers may be unsafe, causing an electrical short circuit or fire.
2. Do not use the battery charger outdoors or in damp or wet locations.
3. Do not use the charger with an extension cord. This can cause a low
voltage outage during charging.
4. Do not attempt to use a step-up transformer.
5. Do not operate the charger if it received a sharp blow, been dropped or
otherwise damaged. Take the charger to a qualified service technician for
examination and servicing.
