Chapter 1 Introduction
The PLNET UPS-400 protects critical data by supplying reliable, network-grade
power in rack-optimized form the network. Working as an UPS, the UPS-400 takes
over the power provision to the WGSW-2620PV when the AC power is shut off. It
also support power to the PoE powered devices with its 400 watts power supply. As
the WGSW-2620PV takes both 100~240V AC and 48VDC power input, the UPS-400
acts also the redundant power supply for the network system.
1.1 Product Description
The UPS-400 is an UPS and the redundant power for WGSW-2620PV. There are
two ways to supply power to the WGSW-2620PV. One is the 100~240V AC universal
power supply, the other is the 48V DC by the UPS-400 Uninterruptible Power Supply.
Once both the AC and the DC are used, the UPS-400 take the UPS-400 as the
redundant power supply for power backup to prevent the power interrupt. This
protects the critical data from the PoE devices powered by the WGSW-2620PV and
keep the network alive for the data transmission. The UPS-400 supports 400 watts of
electrical power, once the AC power shut off, the UPS-400 then take over as the
UPS power supply for WGSW-2620PV and keep the switch and the connected
powered devices working.
