Please read these instructions prior to
using your Ozflame™bio-fuel fireplace
Warnings
Bio-fuel (Methylated Spirits) is highly inflammable.
Handle the fuel with extreme caution and follow
all instructions carefully.
If possible, fill your burner in an outside location where
spillage will not be a hazard. Always use a funnel to
prevent spillage. An Ozflame™ model OZF 550 funnel
is recommended. In the event of spillage, wipe up all spilt
fuel and allow time for any excess fuel to evaporate before
lighting.
Only use bio-fuel (methylated spirits) in your burner. Store
your bio-fuel in a safe, ventilated, dry area away from the
fire and out of reach of children. Never smoke near burner
or fireplace. Do not put any foreign objects in the fireplace
particularly cigarette butts. Always store bio-fuel in a sealed
container designed for this purpose.
Do not ingest bio-fuel. If ingested or splashed in eyes, seek immediate medical attention. If fuel is spilt
on skin, wash off with soapy water.

Do not add fuel while the fire is lit or the fire box is hot
and allow
at least 30 minutes
before adding fuel. Never
move the fire box or fireplace while the fire is lit. Do not
smoke while handling the fuel.
When lit, the fire box and surrounding area of the fireplace
will be hot. Do not touch these areas while fire is lit or for 30
minutes or more after the fire is extinguished. Also note that
when first lit or the fuel is running low the flame may not be
easily visible and caution is required.
