duct. The instructions for use are a part of this
product. They contain important information concerning
safety, use and disposal. Before using the product, ple-
ase familiarise yourself with all the operating and safety
instructions. The product must only be used as described
and for the specified fields of application. When pas-
sing this product on to third parties, please be sure to
include all documentation.

Intended Use
The product is designed for 2-/ 4-fold magnification of
objects. The integrated LEDs only serve for better con-
trast and shadow-free visualization of the object to be
enlarged. The product is intended for indoor use only.
The product is not intended for commercial use or for
use in other applications.

Children frequently underestimate the dangers. Always
keep children away from the packaging material.
This product is not a toy.
J This product can be used by children aged from
8 years and above and persons with reduced physi-
cal, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experi-
ence and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the

involved. Children shall not play with the product.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made
by children without supervision.
CAUTION! RISK OF INJURY! Please do not use
this product if you find that it is damaged in any way.
J Check whether all of the parts are correctly fitted.
If the product is not correctly assembled there is a
danger of injury.
J Keep the product away from humidity.
CAUTION! RISK OF INJURY! Never look at the
sun or other sources of light through the magnifying
glass. This could result in serious eye injuries.
J CAUTION! FIRE HAZARD! Never
expose the magnifying glass to direct
sunlight or other sources of light. Do not
leave the product unattended. Otherwise there is
a risk of fire through concentrated light rays and
concentrated heat.
J Do not subject the product to any extreme tempera-
tures or severe mechanical stress. Otherwise this may
result in deformation of the product.

J Make sure that the lens 1does not come into contact
with sharp or pointed objects. Otherwise this may
result in damage to the product.

batteries/rechargeable
batteries
DANGER TO LIFE! Keep batteries/rechargeable
batteries out of reach of children. If accidentally
swallowed seek immediate medical attention.
DANGER OF EXPLOSION! Never
recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Do
not short-circuit batteries/rechargeable
batteries and/or open them. Overheating, fire or
bursting can be the result.
Never throw batteries/rechargeable batteries into
fire or water.
Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries/
rechargeable batteries.

Risk of leakage of batteries/rechargeable
batteries
Avoid extreme environmental conditions and tempera-
tures, which could affect batteries/ rechargeable
batteries, e.g. radiators/ direct sunlight.
Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mucous mem-
branes. In the event of contact with battery acid,
thoroughly flush the affected area with plenty of
clean water and seek immediate medical attention.
WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES!
Leaked or damaged batteries/ recharge-
able batteries can cause burns on con-
tact with the skin. Wear suitable protective gloves at
all times if such an event occurs.
In the event of a battery leak, immediately remove it
from the product to prevent damage.
Only use the same type of batteries/rechargeable
batteries. Do not mix used and new batteries/
rechargeable batteries.
Remove the batteries/rechargeable batteries if the
product will not be used for a longer period.
