HomeBox 4.1 - User manual
Thank you for the purchase of our product! This
manual contains important information on the safety
and proper use of HomeBox 4.1. In order to avoid
potential danger, please read it carefully before using
the product. Do not place the product in high
temperatures, humidity or dusty environment. Avoid
falls, as they can cause the product's malfunction. Do
not disconnect the device while formatting or uploading
/ downloading data. Otherwise it may cause system
damage. Do not jerk the product or use alcohol, thinner
or benzene products to clean it. Our company reserves
the right to continuous improvement of its products.

the product only. The company is not responsible for
any loss of data arising out of the use of the product.

CONFIGURATION:
1. Connect your HomeBox 4.1 to
a TV via an HDMI cable. Choose the
proper TV channel (the one assigned
to HomeBox 4.1).
2. Connect HomeBox 4.1 to a power supply and
an RJ45 cable to the LAN interface. If you do not have
an RJ45 cable, please connect the device to a WiFi
network.

Note: The HDMI cable
connection should be
performed BEFORE you
connect the device to the
mains.
3. Open the battery cover at
the back of the remote control and
insert the batteries.
4. Connect your HomeBox 4.1 to the mains. The TV
should automatically detect the signal. If it does not,
please switch the TV to the correct HDMI channel.

5. If the "ANDROID" sign appears on the TV
screen it means the device has been properly
connected.

HOMEBOX 4.1 - KEYBOARD
DESCRIPTION:
We present you a wireless keyboard with mouse function. You can use it to
write e-mails, chat with friends or play your favorite games. The device is
compatible with HTPC, Smart TV, TV BOX and Android. It also supports
Sony PlayStation 3. From now on you will be able to use your HTPC while
sitting on a couch and browse the Internet in the most comfortable way.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
- HID compatible device
- USB port
- Windows 2000
- Windows XP
- Windows Vista, Windows CE, Windows 7, Windows 8
- Linux (Debian-3.1, RedHat-9.0, Ubuntu8.10, Fedora-7.0 being tested)
- Android OS (with a standard USB interface)
INSTALLATION:
• Open the box and take the USB receiver out of the compartment under the
back cover of the keyboard.
• Insert the USB receiver to any USB port.
• Turn on the keyboard.
It will be detected automatically - no further action is necessary. Now, you
can start to use your keyboard! NOTE: The USB cable can be used to
charge the battery.
WIRELESS MOUSE OPERATION:
Wireless mouse functions are based on specific keys. The mouse "tracks"
your gestures in any direction. What is more, you can use the "lock" button
to lock or unlock the mouse mode at any time.
From now on you can enjoy comfort and easier control of your favorite
devices.
MOUSE COURSOR CALIBRATION:
If the cursor drifts automatically or does not respond to your gestures, it is
necessary to calibrate the sensor of the mouse.
How to calibrate:
(1) Turn on the keyboard and place it on a flat horizontal surface.

(2) Lock the mouse cursor in the middle of the screen.
(2) Press the left mouse button and the FN key, and hold them for 10
seconds. Then release both buttons to complete the calibration.
AUTOMATIC SLEEP AND AWAKE:
The keyboard enters the sleep mode automatically if it is not used for 3
minutes. In this mode all the lights are off. The user can awake the device
by pressing any of the mouse buttons.
TURNING OFF THE KEYBOARD:
In order to turn off the keyboard, please switch the power button to "OFF"
position. There is not necessary to disconnect the USB receiver. Therefore,
the keyboard can be turned on quickly when you need to use it next time.
BATTERY CHARGING:
The device is powered by a built-in lithium-ion battery. Please, use only
dedicated cables and chargers.
Note: Please fully charge the device's battery before the first use. The
device can be used while being charged, however it will extend the charging
time.
The low voltage indicator flashes to inform the user that the battery is low.
Once the battery becomes fully discharged, the keyboard turns off
automatically.
WARNING:
- Unplug the charging cable once the device is fully charged.
- Do not open the casing or repair the device yourself.
- Keep the device away from moisture.
MAINTENANCE:
- Do not try to disassemble the device or replace the battery. Otherwise, it
will void the product's warranty.
- The battery loses its charge if the device is not run for a long time.
- Please use only dedicated chargers and disconnect the charging cable
once the device is fully charged. Overcharging shortens the lifetime of the
battery.
- Do not expose the device to extremely high or low temperatures.
Otherwise it will shorten the lifetime of the battery.
