Intended use of the device
The device is intended exclusively for playing audio signals from
a mobile phone or other digital device or source (wirelessly using
Bluetooth® technology or also via a cable connection), to the extent
specified by technical and operating parameters and functions, safety
and user instructions and external effects of the operating environment.
ORAVA electrical appliances are manufactured in accordance with
the state of the art and recognized safety regulations. Nevertheless,
incorrect and unprofessional use or use contrary to the intended
purpose may create a risk of injury or endanger the life of the user or a
third party, resp. damage to equipment and other property.
Safety instructions for operation and use
• The electrical equipment is designed and manufactured in such a way
as to allow safe operation and use by unqualified persons. Despite all
the measures taken by the manufacturer for safe use, operation and use,
there are certain residual risks and the possible dangers associated with
them.
• The following symbols and their meanings have been used on the device
and in the accompanying documentation to warn of possible dangers:

General safety instructions and warnings:
• Before putting the device into operation, we recommend that you
carefully read the operating instructions and operate the device

reference and use by new users.
• Use the device only for the intended purpose and in the manner
specified by the manufacturer.

Operating environment safety
• Do not use the device in an industrial environment or in an outdoor,
unfavorable environment!
Do not expose the device to:
- direct sunlight, sources and equipment producing excessive heat,
- falls, vibrations and mechanical stress,
- excessive dust,
- water,
- insects,
- aggressive environmental influences.
• The operating environment of the device must always comply with the
specified basic characteristics.

• The basic degree of protection IP X0 (when the device is not protected
by its cover against the effects of water) is not marked on the product
and in the technical parameters stated in the operating instructions.

the device or in the technical parameters of the operating instructions.
• The device is not primarily intended for use in environments with a
significant water effect.
Personal safety
• This device may be used by children from the age of 8 and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, provided they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning the safe use of the device and understand the dangers
involved.
• This device may also be used by small children (children aged 3 to 8) if
the controls have been set by their parent or authorized guardian, or if
the child has been sufficiently instructed in how to operate the controls
safely.
• Children must not play with the device.
• Cleaning and maintenance by users must not be performed by children
without supervision.

Cleaning, maintenance and repairs
• Perform routine user cleaning and maintenance of electrical equipment
only as recommended. Do not use chemical solvents or harsh cleaning
items for cleaning.
• Never clean the device in a way that could immerse the liquid and allow
the liquid to flow into the device.
• Only clean the device with a damp cloth and wipe it dry or allow it to dry.

Operation/Use
Warning!
• In places where the use of mobile phones is not
permitted, or where the device may cause interference
or danger, such as on an airplane, in hospitals, or
near highly sensitive electronic medical devices, fuels,

• Follow all safety instructions and warnings in these
areas.
• Wireless audio devices that operate in the 2.4 GHz band
may interfere with other wireless devices or networks.
• If this unit is placed too close to other devices with
Bluetooth® technology or devices using the 2.4 GHz
or 5 GHz frequency band, it may not work properly and
noise and / or sound dropouts may occur due to radio
interference.
Warning!
• A speaker system for a mobile phone is a device that,
in use, is associated with a change (reduction) in the
perception of the surrounding sound stimuli. If you carry
out any activities that are accompanied by an increased
level of risk or danger to yourself or others in your area,
always monitor your surroundings carefully so as not to
injure yourself or others.
• Be very careful when using the device. In particular, be
careful when:
driving a car, driving and riding a motorcycle, riding a
bicycle, or driving and riding another means of transport,
where ATTENTION is required in the conditions of
movement on public roads or public spaces where there
are a number of people in the pursuit of leisure activities.

Warning!
• The device is intended only for operation with a built-
in battery, which must not be replaced by the user (the
device is non-removable) and whose type and technical
parameters are specified in the technical information of
the operating instructions.
• Make sure that all cable connections are secure and
correct. Do not insert any conductive objects into the
connectors on the device.
• When connecting and disconnecting connector
connections, pull the connections by the connectors,
never pull the connection by the cable itself.
• Do not tie signal cables together. Do not wind the cables
together. Do not subject signal cables to mechanical
stress or damage.
• Do not let the signal cables hang loose or allow them to

Charging the battery
• The device is equipped with a rechargeable built-in battery.
• The battery can be charged by connecting it to a USB port on your PC or
by a compatible AC / DC charging adapter specified by the manufacturer.
• The DC output parameters of the charging adapter must correspond to
the USB port values of your personal computer, typically: 5 V DC, 500
mA.
• The AC input parameters of the charging adapter must correspond to the
values, typically: 230 V ~.
• Keep the device out of the reach of children while charging the battery.
• The time required to charge a fully discharged battery depends on its
condition and ambient temperature. A fully discharged battery is charged
in about 7 - 8 hours.
• The life of a fully charged battery when used (playing music) is about 8
hours at 60% volume.
Charging the battery by connecting the device to a PC
• When charging the device via the USB port on the PC, make sure that
your PC is connected to the power supply.
• A standard USB port is used to charge the battery from a PC, so you
can charge the battery at home, in the office, in a car, or anywhere you
have a USB port.
Bluetooth® technology
• Bluetooth® technology is a short-range wireless radio transmission
technology that enables wireless data communication and
synchronization between digital devices such as a digital device. mobile

Determination of use
• This system is intended for normal general use.
• Microwaves transmitted from Bluetooth devices may adversely affect the

• Do not use this system near equipment or in an environment sensitive to
high frequency interference, such as:
- places with the presence of flammable gas,
- places close to automatic door systems, alarm devices such as:
- airports,
- hospitals,
- laboratories,
- petrol stations, etc.,
because mutual transmission interference can cause an accident.
Restrictions on use
• Wireless transmission and / or use with all Bluetooth® devices cannot be
guaranteed.
• All devices must comply with the standards set by Bluetooth SIG, Inc.
• Depending on the parameters and settings of the devices, the connection
may not be successful or some operations may be different.
• This system supports the security features of Bluetooth® technology.
However, in some operating environments or settings, this security may
not be sufficient. Be careful when transferring data wirelessly to this
system.
Range in use
• Use the wireless device at a maximum distance of 10 m.
• Different types and nature of the environment, obstacles or interference
may reduce the transmission range (e.g. metal obstacles, walls, people,
...).

Interference from other devices
• If this unit is placed too close to other Bluetooth® technology devices or
devices using the 2.4 GHz frequency band, it may not work properly and
may problems in the form of noise and / or sound interruptions caused
by radio wave interference may occur.
• This system may not work properly if the radio waves transmitted by a
nearby radio station or similar device are too strong.
Others
• If you experience discomfort while using Bluetooth® technology, stop
using the Bluetooth device immediately.
• If any problem persists, contact your nearest ORAVA dealer.

Power supply
Powered by built-in rechargeable battery
The device is powered by a built-in rechargeable battery.
Charge the battery before using it for the first time or whenever the battery is low (“low
battery” or the device shuts down completely arbitrarily).
You can charge the device’s battery from an electrical socket using a suitable charger that
has a USB-C connector (not supplied, 5 V, 2 A).
Connect the charger to an electrical socket and the USB-C connector to the USB-C
connector on the device.
If you do not have a suitable charger, you can charge the battery by connecting the device
to a PC with the supplied USB-C cable. With this connection, the battery in the device will
be charged from the PC.
Powerbank function
The speaker is equipped with a built-in 8,800 mAh battery (4x 2,200 mAh). When charged,
turn off the speaker and connect the USB connector on the speaker to the charging
connector on the mobile phone / mp3 player / tablet and other digital devices using the
supplied or suitable USB cable.
Press the button . The speaker will then charge the battery in the connected digital
device with a DC voltage of 5 V and max. output current at 2.1 A.
Note
For the speaker to function as a powerbank, turn it off and press the button .
