You will need the following tools:
WALL MOUNTING BRACKET
Stud Finder Light Adhesive Tape Allen Wrench Clamp
Tack / Center Punch / Nail Tape Measure / Ruler Flathead Screwdriver Power Drill
Wall Mounting Fasteners * Level Tool Pencil / Marker Drill Bit (for your wall fastener)
*You will need to supply your own wall mounting hardware. Use appropriate fasteners for the wall type you are
installing your system onto (e.g. lag bolts, drywall anchors, etc.). Maximum Fastener Diameter: 3/8". Maximum
Washer Outside Diameter: 5/8".
1 read the 1/4"-20 X 3" Screw (G) through the
Spacer (F), Brake (B) and both 1/4"-20 Hex
Nuts (E1) as shown in [FIG. 1].
2 Secure the Brake Assembly (B) to the Outlet
& Brake Side Assembly (A4) using four 8-32 x
3/8" Screw (D) as shown in [FIG. 2a].
Secure the Outlet Coupler (C) to the Outlet &
Brake Side Assembly (A4) using three 8-32 x
3/8" Screws (D) as shown in [FIG. 2c].
read the Screw (B1) through the Spring (B2)
and Handle (B) and secure to the Handle Side
Assembly (A3) [FIG. 2b].

Assembly Instructions
THE WALL BRACKET SHOULD BE MOUNTED TO A STURDY, REINFORCED WALL E.G. CONCRETE WALL,
WOODFRAMED WALL, ETC. WALL ANCHORS CAN BE USED IF MOUNTING ON DRYWALL. THE INCLUDED
TEMPLATE INDICATES THE PROPER DRILL HOLES AND THE FULL, ASSEMBLED SIZE OF THE WALL
BRACKET.

3 Identify where you will install the Hose Reel
in your shop and how the hose reel will be
oriented [FIG. 3a].
Mark a straight level line. Align the top of the
template with the marked line and temporarily
secure the template to the wall with a tack or
non-marking tape [FIG. 3b].
Place a mark through the template's paper at
each indicated crosshair (four bi-directional
keyway holes), then remove the template from
the wall [FIG. 3c].
Note: DO NOT FLIP THE TEMPLATE! e
dimensions of the template are accurate to
either orientation of the Hose Reel. TheHoseReel should be mounted to a sturdy, reinforced wall (e.g.
concretewall,brick wall, wood-framed wall, etc.) Wall anchors can
beusedif mounting on drywall. This template indicates the proper
drillholesand the full, assembled size of the Hose Reel.

TheHoseReel can be mounted so that the Handle is on either side
asthekeyholes are bi-directional. This does not require rotating the

4 Using appropriate fasteners for the wall type
you are installing your system onto, drill into
and install fasteners into the wall at all marked
locations.
a. Maximum Fastener Size: 3/8" diameter
b. Maximum Washer Size: 5/8" outside
diameter
Place washers onto each fastener and thread
the fasteners into all four holes, leaving at least
1/2" outside of the hole to t the Hose Reel
Assembly [FIG. 4].

5 Li the Hose Reel Assembly up and over the
fasteners so that the washer is on the inside of
the Hose Reel [FIG 5a].
Slide the Hose Reel Assembly down so that the
fastener is snugly inside the smaller section of
each keyhole [FIG 5b].
Wall
6 Tighten these four fasteners to secure the Hose
Reel Assembly to the wall [FIG. 6].
Note: If installing over drywall, avoid
overtightening as it may damage the wall.
7 Clamp the Turn Key Hose Clamp (K) onto
one end of the Hose (J) [FIG. 7].

8 Feed the clamped end of the Hose (J) through
the access hole in the Core (A1) closest to the
Handle Side Assembly (A3) [FIG. 8a]. Then
attach the Hose to the Outlet Coupler (C). You
can guide the Hose by using the other access
hole in the Core closest to the Outlet & Brake
Side Assembly (A4) [FIG 8b].

10 Guide the Hose (J) as you wind it around the
Core (A1) of the Body Assembly (A) so it is
neatly wrapped as shown in [FIG. 10].

9 Secure the Hose (J) to the Handle Side
Assembly (A3) with the Self-tapping Screw
(I) [FIG 9].
