Connecting to Computer
1. Plug the USB cable into any available port on your computer.
• The OKIOLABS A6 is a plug and play webcam that allows your
computer to instantly recognize it.
• If your computer doesn’t automatically recognize the OKIOLABS A6,
try plugging into a different USB port or restart your computer.

Setting Up
Option A: With Laptop/Monitor
Unfold the clip and place the webcam on the top
of your monitor or laptop screen. Secure the
OKIOLABS A6 by adjusting the clip to press
against the back of your device.
Fold the clip in and mount the webcam onto a
tripod with the ¼ inch standard tripod thread.
(Tripod is NOT included with the purchase of
OKIOLABS A6.)
Option B: With Tripod
4. The OKIOLABS A6 comes
equipped with a privacy cover
that you can easily slide to
cover the lens when you desire.
3. The LED Light will turn on which indicates that your
OKIOLABS A6 is on and ready to function.
Camera Privacy Settings
The default setting allows your device access to your camera.
However, if the settings have been altered, below we have listed
how to enable your device access to your camera.
Windows PC
Chromebook
Mac
• Settings > Privacy > Camera and switch on “Allow apps to access your
camera”.
• Select each application that you want to use your OKIOLABS A6 with.
• Apple Menu > System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Camera
from the left side of the screen.
• Select the applications that you would like to give camera access to by
checking the respective box.
• Open Chrome Browser > Click More “ ” > Settings > Privacy and
security > Site settings > Camera > Select “Sites can ask to use your
camera”.
2. Download OKIOLABS Camera Control Software to manually
adjust both basic and advanced image settings including
white balance, contrast, and saturation.

Conguración
Opción A: Con Laptop/Monitor
Despliegue el clip y coloque la cámara web en la
parte superior de su monitor o pantalla de
computadora portátil. Asegure su OKIOLABS A6
ajustando el clip para presionar contra la parte
posterior de su dispositivo.
Doble el clip y monte la cámara web en un trípode
con la rosca de trípode estándar de ¼ pulgadas.
(El trípode NO está incluido con la compra de
su OKIOLABS A6).
Opción B: Con trípode
1. Conecte el cable USB a cualquier puerto disponible en su
computadora.
• La OKIOLABS A6 es una cámara web plug and play que permite que
su computadora la reconozca instantáneamente.
• Si su computadora no reconoce automáticamente la OKIOLABS A6,
intente conectarla a un puerto USB diferente o reinicie su
computadora.try plugging into a different USB port or restart your
computer.

Conguración de privacidad de la
cámara
La conguración predeterminada permite que su dispositivo
acceda a su cámara. Sin embargo, si la conguración se ha
modicado, a continuación enumeramos los pasos a seguir para
habilitar el acceso de su dispositivo a su cámara.
PC Windows
• Ajustes > Privacidad > Cámara y active "Permitir que las aplicaciones
accedan a la cámara".
• Seleccione cada aplicación con la que desee utilizar su OKIOLABS A6.
Mac
• Menú Apple > Preferencias del sistema > Seguridad y privacidad >
Cámara desde el lado izquierdo de la pantalla.
• Seleccione las aplicaciones a las que le gustaría dar acceso a la cámara
marcando la casilla correspondiente.
Chromebook
• Abra el navegador Chrome > Haga clic en Más “ ” > Conguración >
Privacidad y seguridad > Conguración del sitio > Cámara >
Seleccione "Los sitios pueden solicitar usar su cámara".
2. Descargue el software OKIOLABS Camera Control para
ajustar manualmente la conguración de imagen básica y
avanzada, incluyendo el balance de blancos, contraste y
saturación.

Einrichtung
Option A: Mit einem Laptop/Monitor
Öffnen Sie die Klammer und platzieren Sie die
Webcam am oberen Rand Ihres Monitors oder
Ihres Bildschirms. Sichern Sie die OKIOLABS A6,
indem Sie die Klammer so anbringen, dass diese
gegen die Rückseite des Geräts drückt.
Klappen Sie die Klammer ein und montieren Sie
die Webcam auf dem Stativ mit dem
standardisierten ¼ inch Gewinde. (Das Stativ
ist beim Kauf von OKIOLABS A6 NICHT
enthalten.)
Option B: Mit dem Stativ
1. Stecken Sie das USB Kabel in einen verfügbaren Anschluss an
Ihrem Computer.
• OKIOCAM A6 ist eine Plug-and-Play Webcam, welche sofort von
Ihrem Computer erkannt wird.
• Falls Ihr Computer die OKIOCAM A6 nicht sofort erkennt, versuchen
Sie sie in einen anderen USB-Anschluss zu stecken oder starten Sie
Ihren Computer neu.
