operating instructions before starting the device.
2. Please keep this manual for the lifespan of the device in case referring to the contents of this manual
is necessary.
3. All the safety precautions referred to in this manual should be strictly followed, as they have a direct
influence on user’s safety and durability and reliability of the device.
4. All actions conducted by the servicemen and users must be accomplished in accordance with the
user’s manual.
5. The device should be disconnected from power sources during maintenance procedures.
6. Usage of additional devices and components neither provided nor recommended by the producer is
forbidden.
7. Do not place the device on unstable surfaces. The device must be installed by qualified personnel
with appropriate authorizations according to the instructions given in this manual.
8. The device can only be powered from sources with parameters compliant with the manufacturer's
specifications in the technical data. Therefore, it is forbidden to power the device from sources with
unknown, unstable or non-compliant parameters specified by the manufacturer.

2. INSTALLATION
1. Using a template or a base, mark and drill the holes for the mounting screws. If the cable for
connecting the camera is to come out of the wall, also drill a hole for it in the axis of the cable
hole in the base. The hole must be large enough to accommodate the cable gland. If the cable is
to be routed along a wall (e.g. in a conduit or conduit), plan the installation place so that the
cable can enter the holder through one of the side plugs.
2. Pass the cable through the cable gland so that about 15 cm of cable remains inside the adapter.
Screw the gland to the base and mount the base in such a way as to allow free access to the
inspection door.
3. Connect the cable to the switch. Screw the cameras to the cover using the appropriate mounting
holes. Before that, insert the camera cables into the adapter through the rubber sealing collars.
4. Connect cameras to the switch through the inspection door
5. Close the inspection door tightly, adjust the position of the cameras.

ATTENTION! the surface to which the adapter is mounted must be even and have adequate load
-bearing capacity.
ATTENTION! The water-tightness of the adapter-cameras set is ensured only when all sealing
elements from the set are used. If there is any risk of water ingress into the cable connections or
into the wall through the cable opening, seal any potential water ingress with a suitable mastic.
3. ACCESSORIES
The NVS-4020JBD adapter can be mounted directly on horizontal surfaces, such as ceilings, and on
vertical surfaces (walls). In the second case, the adapter cover (camera mounting surface) is placed
vertically, which in some situations may cause difficulties in proper camera positioning or raise
aesthetic concerns. To prevent such situations, it is possible to mount the adapter on the wall so that the
cover is placed horizontally - using the following accessories:

Wall mounting instructions with accessories
1. Place the mounting template (or the foot of the wall bracket) on the surface on which it is to be
mounted and use it as a template to mark the drilling points.
2. Drill holes in the marked places, insert wall plugs, drill a hole for the cable
3. Screw the two screws into the upper holes until they protrude by about 12 mm
4. Pass the cable through the wall bracket (the cable should protrude about 30 cm from the bracket).
Hang the handle on the upper screws, screw in the lower screws. Place the handle vertically and
tighten the screws as far as they will go.
5. Attach the wall bracket adapter to the bracket.
6. Put the cable gland on the cable and tighten it in the half of its length, put the cable through the
cable opening in the base and screw in the cable gland.
7. Screw the base to the wall bracket adapter so that you can easily access the inspection door.
8. Connect the cable to the switch. Screw the cameras to the cover using the appropriate mounting
holes. Before that, insert the camera cables into the adapter through the rubber sealing collars.
9. Connect cameras to the switch through the inspection door
10. Close the inspection door tightly, adjust the position of the cameras.
ACCESSORIES
To mount the NVS-4020JBD adapter with accessories, you need to use the NVB-4020WB wall
bracket and the NVB-4020C wall bracket adapter at the same time.
