INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
The PUMA3000 micromotor belongs to the brushless permanent magnet micromotors for use by the dental technician, also suitable for
dental clinics and all types of factories.
1 > FEATURES OF PUMA3000
• ISO standard connector, can be used with all straight and contra-angle E-type heads.
• PC board power supply input: 22~24 V AC/DC 50/60Hz
• Control panel has (forward/reverse) switch, continuous speed control (hand/foot), digital display showing speed.
• The foot panel should be connected to its socket on the back of the control box.

3 > INSTRUCTIONS
Warning: Please make sure that the power switch is turned off (if not, the unit may be damaged).
1. Check that the power switch is turned off.
a. Connect the cable.
b. Connect the foot pedal to its connector.
c. Connect the handpiece to its connector.
2. Turn the speed regulator of the control box to “0”.
3. Check that the clamp is securely locked by turning the handpiece handle or pulling the tip. Hold the handpiece with one
hand and turn on the power switch with the other hand.
4. Turn on/off: press the power switch, the green light of the switch will turn on and the display will show the number of rpm.
Or it will turn off.
5. Choose between manual or foot pedal control with the hand/foot switch. Each press switches between manual and foot
pedal.
6. Choose the direction of rotation with the right/left selector. Each press changes the direction of rotation between right and
left.
7. Use the MOTOR ON/OFF button to run or stop the motor both in manual mode and via the foot pedal.

8. Change speed, depending on the control mode you have chosen hand/foot. Turn the speed controller clockwise or press
the foot pedal.
NOTE
• The PUMA3000 micromotor is a maintenance-free, shock-protected and lubrication-free product.
• Please make sure to use the correct voltage when plugging in.
• Switch off and unplug it when not in use.
• For use by qualied persons only.
• It is forbidden to connect or remove the handpiece when the motor is running.
• Please make sure the handpiece is securely clamped before use.
• The foot pedal connector should be inserted into the rear socket driver, do not connect to the voltage connector (110V or 220V).
• If any problem occurs during use, please unplug and discontinue use immediately and notify the manufacturer or authorized
distributors.
• Repair and maintenance should only be performed by qualied personnel.
• Please operate with care to avoid injury.

4 > WARRANTY
The PUMA3000 motor is warranted for 1 year for its handpiece, control box and foot pedal.
The warranty does not include failures due to misuse or normal wear of bearings, collet, spindle and armature. In case of incorrect power
supply voltage. In case of using spare parts or accessories not recommended by the manufacturer. - In case of repairs not carried out by
the manufacturer.

• Disassemble carefully, protect from shocks and humidity.
• Store in a dry and ventilated place.

INSTRUCCIONES DE USO
El micromotor PUMA3000 pertenece a los micromotores de imán permanentes sin escobilla para uso del técnico dental, también adecua-
do para clínicas dentales y todo tipo de fábrica.
1 > CARACTERÍSTICAS DEL PUMA3000
• Conector estándar ISO, puede utilizarse con todos los cabezales rectos y contra-ángulos tipo E.
• Entrada de alimentación de la placa PC: 22~24 V AC/DC 50/60Hz
• El panel de control tiene interruptor de (avance/retroceso), control de velocidad continuo (mano/pie), pantalla digital que muestra
la velocidad.
• El panel del pie debe conectarse a su enchufe en la parte posterior de la caja de control.

Advertencia: Por favor, asegúrese de que el interruptor de alimentación está apagado! (si no, podría dañarse el aparato).
1. Compruebe que el interruptor de alimentación está apagado.
a. Conecte el cable.
b. Conecte el pedal a su conector.
c. Conecte la pieza de mano a su conector.
2. Gire el regulador de velocidad de la caja de control a “0”.
3. Compruebe que la pinza está bien bloqueada girando el mango de la pieza de mano o tirando de la punta. Sujete la pieza de
mano con una mano y encienda el interruptor de alimentación con la otra.
4. Encender / Apagar: apriete el interruptor de alimentación, se encenderá la luz verde del interruptor y en el display mostrará el
número de rpm. O por el contrario se apagara.
5. Escoja entre control manual o a través del pedal con el selector mano/pie. Cada pulsación cambia entre manual y pedal.
6. Escoja la dirección de rotación con el selector derecha/izquierda. Cada pulsación cambia el sentido de giro entre derecha e
izquierda.
7. Use el botón ON/OFF MOTOR para hacer funcionar o detener el motor tanto en el modo manual como a través del pedal.
8. Cambiar de velocidad, dependiendo del modo de control que haya escogido mano/pie. Gire el regulador de velocidad a la
derecha o apriete el pedal.
