IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using this or any other electrical appliance, always follow safety precautions, especially when
children are present.
• Read all instructions before operating the appliance.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
• To protect against electric shock, re, or injury to persons, DO NOT IMMERSE
CORD, PLUG, OR BASE UNIT IN WATER or other liquids.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, after the appliance has
malfunctioned, or has been damaged in any manner.
• Always unplug the appliance from the outlet when not in use and allow it to cool com-
pletely before cleaning or handling.
• The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may result
in re, electric shock, or injury to persons.
• Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or countertop or touch hot
surfaces.
• Do not place the appliance on or near a hot burner or inside the oven.
• Do not use outdoors or for commercial purposes.
• Use appliance only as described in this instruction manual.
• Do not turn the hot iron upside down as hot water may spill.
• Do not use on wet surfaces or with wet hands.
• Use only with recommended voltage.
• When you have nished ironing or when leaving the iron unattended:
o Turn the Steam Control Knob (7) to position “0” and the Temperature
Control Dial (1) to “OFF”
o Stand the iron upright and disconnect it from the wall socket.
• Do not pull on the cord to disconnect the plug from the wall socket.
• The iron should always be switched OFF before connecting or disconnecting from
the power supply.
• The iron should always be disconnected from the wall socket when lling or emptying
the Water Tank.
• The plug and cord should not be allowed to touch the hot sole plate. Let the iron cool
down completely before rolling the power cord around the iron for storage.
• Always use and store the iron upright and on a heat-resistant stable surface.
• This product has no user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to examine or repair this
product yourself. Please review the Warranty Policy on page 6.
• Do not put any stress on the power cord where it connects to the product.
• An extension cord is not recommended for use with this product.
• Do not attempt maintenance or disassemble the appliance. Please contact

Notes:
• Some parts of the iron have been slightly greased, and as a result, the iron may smoke
slightly when switched on for the rst time. It will not happen again after a few uses.
• Before using the iron for the rst time:
o Remove any protective lms or stickers from the Sole Plate and the
plastic housing
o Clean the Sole Plate with a soft cloth.
o Test the iron on an old piece of fabric to ensure that the Sole Plate and
Water Tank are completely clean.
IRONING
Important: Read the section entitled “Important Safeguards” before proceeding.
CHOICE OF WATER
• This iron can be used with normal tap water. If the water in your area is particularly hard,
it is advisable to use distilled or demineralized water.
• Do not use chemically descaled water or any other liquids for relling.
FILLING THE WATER TANK
• Ensure the iron is unplugged from the wall outlet and wait for the iron to cool down.
• Set the Steam Control Knob (7) to “0” and the Temperature Control Dial (1) to “OFF”.
• Pour water into the Water Inlet (5) no higher than the maximum level “MAX” of the water
tank.

TEMPERATURE CONTROL SETTING
• Always check the garment label for ironing instructions before ironing the garment. If the
ironing instructions are missing, the table below may help you.
• If the fabric consists of various kinds of bers (e.g., cotton with polyester) you should al-
ways select the ironing temperature for the material with the lowest advised temperature.

SETTING THE TEMPERATURE
• Insert the Plug in the wall socket and stand the iron upright.
• Turn the Temperature Control Dial (1) to the desired temperature setting.
• The desired temperature has been reached when the pilot light has turned off. The pilot
light will turn on and off from time to time, indicating that the selected temperature is being
maintained.
SPRAYING
This function can be used at any time and does not affect the ironing temperature.
• Fill the iron with water as described on page 3.
• Aim the Spray Nozzle (4) towards the garment.
• Press the Spray Button (3).
STEAM IRONING
This function can be used onlu at higher ironing temperatures.

●●● or MAX For maximum steam
• Fill water into the iron as described on page 3.
• Stand the iron upright.
• Insert the plug into the wall socket
• Turn the Temperature Control Dial (1) to the “●●”, “●●●” or MAX setting
• The pilot light turns off when the required temperature is reached, indicating the iron is
ready for use.
• Turn the Steam Control Knob (7) to the required position. Steam will emit from the holes in
the Sole Plate.

Notice: With conventional steam ironing, water may leak from the sole plate if a temperature
has been selected too low. If this happens, turn the Temperature Control Dial (1) to the ad-
vised position. Steam will recommence as soon as the appropriate temperature has been
reached.
BURST OF STEAM
This function provides an extra amount of steam to remove stubborn wrinkles.
• Fill the iron with water as described on page 3.
• Turn the Temperature Control Knob (1) to the position “MAX”
• The pilot light turns off when the required temperature is reached

• Cuando haya terminado de planchar o cuando deje la plancha desatendida:

o Coloque la plancha en posición vertical y desconéctela del tomacorriente.
• No tire del cable para desconectar el enchufe del tomacorriente.
• La plancha siempre debe estar APAGADA antes de conectarla o desconectarla de
la fuente de alimentación.
• La plancha siempre debe estar desconectada de la toma de corriente cuando
llene o vacíe el depósito de agua.
• No se debe permitir que el enchufe y el cable toquen la placa caliente. Deje que la
plancha se enfríe por completo antes de enrollar el cable de alimentación alrededor
de la plancha para guardarla.
• Utilice y guarde siempre la plancha en posición vertical y sobre una supercie
resistente al calor y estable.
• Este producto no tiene piezas reparables por el usuario. No intente examinar o
reparar este producto usted mismo. Revise la Política de garantía en la página 6.
• No ejerza presión sobre el cable de alimentación donde se conecta al producto.

Notas:
• Algunas partes de la plancha han sido ligeramente engrasadas y, como resultado, la
plancha puede echar un poco de humo cuando se enciende por primera vez. No volverá a

ELECCIÓN DE AGUA
• Esta plancha se puede utilizar con agua del grifo normal. Si el agua de su zona es espe-
cialmente dura, es recomendable utilizar agua destilada o desmineralizada.
• No utilice agua descalcicada químicamente ni ningún otro líquido para rellenar.
LLENADO DEL DEPÓSITO DE AGUA
• Asegúrese de que la plancha esté desenchufada del tomacorriente y espere a que se
enfríe.
• Gire la perilla de control de vapor (7) a la posición “0” y el dial de control de temperatura
(1) a “OFF”.
• Vierta agua en la entrada de agua (5) no más arriba del nivel máximo “MAX” del tanque
de agua.

AJUSTE DE CONTROL DE TEMPERATURA
• Siempre revise la etiqueta de la prenda para conocer las instrucciones de planchado
antes de planchar la prenda. Si faltan las instrucciones de planchado, la siguiente tabla
puede ayudarlo.
• Si la tela consta de varios tipos de bras (p. ej., algodón con poliéster), siempre debe
seleccionar la temperatura de planchado para el material con la temperatura
recomendada más baja

AJUSTE DE LA TEMPERATURA
• Inserte el enchufe en el tomacorriente y coloque la plancha en posición vertical.
• Gire el dial de control de temperatura (1) al ajuste de temperatura deseado.
• La temperatura deseada se ha alcanzado cuando la luz piloto se apague. La luz piloto
se encenderá y apagará de vez en cuando, indicando que se mantiene la temperatura
seleccionada.
PULVERIZACIÓN
Esta función se puede utilizar en cualquier momento y no afecta a la temperatura de
planchado.
