Thisisamultifunctionalinverter,combiningfunctionsofinverter,solarchargerandbatterychargertooffer
uninterruptiblepowersupportwithportablesize.ItscomprehensiveLCDdisplayoffersuserconfigurableand
easilyaccessiblebuttonoperationsuchasbatterychargingcurrent,AC/solarchargerpriority,andacceptable
inputvoltagebasedondifferentapplications.

Movethecabinet,asshipped,asclosetotheinstallationsiteaspossible

Thecabinet,withoutbatteries,istopheavy.Takecarenottotipovercabinet
priortosecuringittoitspermanentlocation.
TheNV14EnergyStorageSystemcabinethasfour(4)conduitlandinglocationsidentifiedby¼”
diameterindentationsintheupperleftsideoftheenclosure.Itistheresponsibilityoftheinstallerto
determinethebestlocationtopunchforconduitknockouts.

(2)personliftingandplacementisstronglyrecommendedtopreventpersonalinjury.

Eachbatteryisshippedinaseparatepackage.Removebatteryfromitspackagingandsetuprightnear
theinstallationlocation.
4.3.1 BatteryUniqueIDSetting
Thebatteryhasa6positiondip‐switchthatrequiresadjustmentpriortoconnectingtotheNV14Energy
StorageSystem.Thepositionofthefour(4)left‐mostdipswitchpinsdeterminesthebatteryIDwithin
theoverallsystem.EachbatterymusthaveauniqueID.Thefifth(5
th
)pindeterminesthe
communicationspeedsetting.Allbatteriesmusthavethispininthedown,orOFFposition.Theright‐
most,or6thpin,hasnoeffectandisreservedforfutureuse.LeavethisintheOFFposition.

batteryisinsleepmode,allindicatorsareunlit.Ifabattery‘wakesup’priortoinstalling,placeitinto
sleepmodebypressingtheresetbuttonfor5seconds.Thebatteryresetbuttoncanbepressedusing
anythin,solidmaterial(suchastheendofapaperclip).
