FIRST AID
If
swallowed
• Call a poison control centre or doctor immediately for treatment advice.
• Have person sip a glass of water if able to swallow.
• Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by the poison control centre
or doctor.
• Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
If on skin
or clothing
• Take off contaminated clothing.
• Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15 - 20 minutes.
• Call a poison control centre or doctor for treatment advice.
If in eyes
• Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15 - 20
minutes.
• Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then
continue rinsing eye.
• Call a poison control centre or doctor for treatment advice.
If inhaled
• Move person to fresh air.
• If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then give artificial
respiration, preferably by mouth-to-mouth, if possible.
• Call a poison control centre or doctor for further treatment advice.
Take container, label or product name and Pest Control Product Registration
Number with you when seeking medical attention.

HOW IT WORKS
Our Patented CounterflowTM Technology is based on the key finding that mosquitoes are
drawn to the CO2 that humans exhale, and to the subtle skin scents which help
mosquitoes locate their target at close range. 18 years of research and independent testing
has enabled us to create a trap that releases these compounds in the precise balance
attractive to mosquitoes. MOSQUITO MAGNET® Patriot begins catching immediately.

• What Attracts Mosquitoes?
Only female mosquitoes bite, using the protein from the blood to reproduce. Mosquitoes
are attracted to the combination of Carbon Dioxide (CO2), moisture & heat (human
breath). An additional attractant for mosquitoes is the scent of human skin.
• How Does It Work?
− The Mosquito Magnet® Patriot trap mimics a human’s breath by converting
propane to carbon dioxide (CO2) which is mixed with heat & moisture through a
patented catalytic conversion process.
− The patented Counterflow™ Technology then expels a silent, odourless plume of
CO2which lures the mosquitoes to the trap.
− As mosquitoes approach in search of a human, they are caught in a vacuum which
draws them into the trap’s bug bag.
− Within 24 hours the mosquitoes dehydrate and die
− The self-contained bug bag eliminates the need to touch mosquitoes. Replace
your bug bag every 21 days or sooner to maximize air flow.
− Your propane tank will last 21 days.
− Use your Mosquito Magnet® Quick Clear Cartridge to clear the gas nozzle after
every tank change. Without this proprietary feature the nozzle might be prone to
clog due to contaminants in the propane.

• Where Should I Place My Trap?
Place your trap upwind 9-12 m (30-40 ft.), within 1.5-1.8 m (5-6 ft) of mosquito habitat
(standing water, bushes, flowerbeds, treeline, marshbed, etc.). It is recommended that
the trap be placed in the shade.
