IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
1. Read all safety information carefully and thoroughly before using this
product!
2. Do not allow children near the stove while you cook.
3. To avoid injury always use caution when handling hot pots.
4. For safety reasons, never leave cookware unattended while in use
and make sure the handles do not extend over the edge of the stove.
5. Do not allow handles to extend over a hot burner, because the
handles could get hot.
6. Use caution when removing lids or lifting with the handles. Touch
lightly to be sure the handles have not become hot. Use oven mitts or
potholders if necessary.
7. Always use oven gloves when removing cookware from a hot oven.
8. Make sure the knobs are tightly tted on the lid.
VERY IMPORTANT NOTE:
Never slide a cast iron pan on induction or halogen plate.
A cast iron pan is very heavy, which means that dirt (such as grains
of sand) under the pan can relatively quickly lead to damage and
scratches on the glass plate. Even though a cast iron pan weighs more
than an average pan, always make sure to lift it! This way your glass
induction hob will remain in perfect condition for longer.

USING INSTRUCTIONS
1. The cast iron casseroles can be used on any kind of heat source:
gas, electric, vitro-ceramic, halogen and induction. They’re also suited
for use in the oven.
2. Do not use the cast iron on an outdoor grill or open re. Do not use
in a microwave oven.
3. When using in the oven and on the stovetop, the handles and knobs
can get hot. Use a suitable cloth, potholders or oven mitts to handle the
cookware.
4. All cast iron cookware can be used in the oven up to 250°C /480°F.
5. Do not store food or prepared food for prolonged periods of time
inside the cookware. To avoid scratches on the surface of a ceramic or
glass stovetop,always lift the cookware, never slide it across.
6. Cook on a burner that is approximately similar in base diameter to
that ofthe item you have selected.
7. When cooking on gas,adjust the ame so it does not are up the
sides of the pan. Never allow a pan to boil dry. Never let your pan
heat up too long.
8. Cover the complete surface of the base with a liquid, oilor butter.
9. Our pan and casseroles have fast heat transfer so food and oil char
very quickly. Always cook using low to medium heat.
Only use high heat when the pot is lled with a liquid for boiling your
food (like for instance pasta).
10. We recommend using bamboo, silicone, nylon or wooden utensils
to protect and extend the life of your cookware.
Never cut food while in the pan as this will damage the surface.Don’t
use beaters or mixers in these items.
11. Do not drop the pan on the oor and protect the enameled coating
from scratches.
On a table or counter, place hot pans and casseroles on a trivet.board
or any protective material.

CARE AND CLEANING
Cooldown your pan before cleaning. Don’t ll the hot cookware with
cold water or immerse in cold water.
Avoid temperature shocks at all times.
Never put a (very) hot cast iron pot or pan immediately on a cool
surface.
Never place a cold cast iron pot (from room temperature or from the
fridge) directly in a pre-heated oven.
Always put the cold cast iron pot in a cold oven and let them pre-heat
together at the same time. Temperature shocks will be avoided that
way.
Don’t put cast iron cookware in the dishwasher.
After each use,clean by hand with a dish detergent especially made for
hand washing. Be sure that you do not use a harsh cleaning product
that is based on citric acids or that contains chlorine bleach.Use warm,
soapy water and sponge or a dishcloth .Do not use steel woolor nylon
scrubbing pads,oven cleaner or any cleaner that is abrasive.Rinse in
warm water and dry immediately with a soft cloth.
If you have remains of food stuck to the cookware, they can easily be
removed by covering the bottom of the pan with water and letting it
soak while gently heating it at low temperature (no need to let the water
cook).
Do not use a metal utensil.
If you store your pots and pans by stacking them, put, for instance,a
dish towel between them avoiding parts of the upper item to scratch the
surface of the lower element.

BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSINFORMATIE
1. Lees onderstaande informatie duidelijk alvorens het product te
gebruiken.
2. Vermijd dat kinderen dicht bij het vuur komen tijdens het koken.
3. Blijf alert tijdens het hanteren van hete kookpotten.
4. Laat de kookpotten nooit onbewaakt achter tijdens het koken.
5. Handgrepen kunnen heet worden.
6. Steeds opletten bij het verwijderen van het deksel of het optillen van
het kookgerei.
7. Gebruik ovenhandschoenen of pannenlappen.
8. Zorg steeds dat de knop goed bevestigd is aan het deksel.
ZEER BELANGRIJKE OPMERKING:
Schuif een gietijzeren pan nooit op inductie- of halogeenplaat.
Een gietijzeren pan is erg zwaar, waardoor vuil (zoals zandkorrels)
onder de pan relatief snel kan leiden tot beschadigingen en krassen
op de glasplaat. Ook al weegt een gietijzeren pan meer dan een
gemiddelde pan, til hem altijd op! Zo blijft je glazen inductiekookplaat
langer in perfecte staat.

GEBRUKSAANWIJZIG
1. De gietijzeren kookpotten kunnen op elke warmtebron gebruikt
worden: gas, elektrisch, vitro-keramisch, halogeen en inductie. Ze zijn
ook ovengeschikt.
2. Niet gebruiken op een buitengrill of open vuur.
3. Niet in de microgolf gebruiken.
4. De handgrepen kunnen heet worden tijdens het koken of gebruik in
de oven. Gebruik ovenhandschoenen of pannenlappen.
5. Het gietijzer kookgerei kan in de oven gebruikt worden tot 250c.
6. Het gietijzer kookgerei is niet geschikt om ingredienten of bereide
gerechten in te bewaren. Til steeds het kookgerei op in plaats van te
schuiven, dit om krassen op de kookplaat te vermijden.
7. Gebruik de kookplaat die ongeveer dezelfde afmeting heeft als het
kookgerei. Wanneer u op gas kookt, let op dat de vlammen niet langs
het kookgerei uitkomen. Laat het kookgerei niet droog koken.
8. De volledige bodem dient steeds bedekt te zijn met water, boter,
olie.
9. Het kookgerei laat snelle hitteverspreiding toe.Vandaar is het
aangewezen steeds op laag of medium vuur te koken.
10. Gebruik alleen de hoge stand wanneer de kookpot met water
gevuld is voor bijvoorbeeld het koken van pasta.
11. We raden aan om bamboe, silicone of houten keukenhulpen te
gebruiken om de levensduur van het kookgereite verlengen.
12. Nooit met een mes snijden in het oppervlak! Gebruik ook geen
gardes of mixer om het kookgerei niet te beschadigen.
13. Laat het kookgerei niet vallen en opletten voor krassen in het email.
14. Plaats het kookgerei niet rechtstreeks op tafel, gebruik steeds een
onderzetter.

REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD
1. Laat het kookgerei afkoelen voor reiniging. De hete kookpot niet
vullen of onderdompelen in koud water.
2. Vermijd temperatuurschokken.
3. Plaats het hete kookgerei nooit direct op een koud oppervlak.
4. Plaats een koude gietijzeren kookpot of pan (kamertemperatuur of
uit ijskast) nooit in een voorverwarmde oven.
5. Plaats het gietijzeren kookgerei in een koude oven en laat het
geleidelijk mee opwarmen, zo wordt temperatuurschok vermeden.
6. Plaats het gietijzeren kookgerei niet in de vaatwasser.
7. Reinig na elk gebruik met een detergent voor handwas. Gebruik
geen hardnekkige detergent op basis van citroenzuur of bleekmiddel.
8. Gebruik een warm zeepsop en spons of vaatdoek.
9. Gebruik geen staalwol of schuurspons.
10. Spoel goed af en droog goed af.
Indien er voedselresten blijven kleven in de kookpot. De kookpot met
water op een laag vuur Iaten sudderen.
11. Gebruik geen roestvrij stalen keukenhulpen.
12. Bij opberging, en je wenst het kookgerei in elkaar te zetten, best
een doek tussen beiden steken om krassen te voorkomen.

WICHTIGE SICHERHEITSINFORMATIONEN
1. Lesen Sie alle Sicherheitshinweise aufmerksam und griindlich durch,
bevor Sie dieses Produkt verwendenl.
2. Lassen Sie Kinder nicht in der Nahe des Backofens oder dem Herd,
wahrend Sie kochen.
3. Um Verletzungen zu vermeiden, ist beim Umgang mit heien Topfen
Vorsicht geboten.
4. Aus Sicherheitsgrunden lassen Sie das Kochgeschirr wahrend des
Gebrauchs nicht unbeaufsichtigt und stellen Sie sicher, dass sich die
Griffe nicht uber den Herd-Rand erstrecken.
5. Lassen Sie keine Griffe uber einen heiBen Brenner hangen, da diese
sehr heiB werden.
6. Vorsicht beim Entfernen von Deckeln oder beim Heben mit den
Griffen.
7. Vorsichtig berilhren, urn sicher zu sein,dass die Griffe nicht heiB
geworden sind.
8. Bei Bedarf Ofenhandschuhe oder Topappen verwenden.
9. Verwenden Sie stets Ofenhandschuhe wenn Sie Kochgeschirr aus
einem heiBen Ofen nehmen.
10. Vergewissern Sie sich,dass die Griffe fest am Deckelangebracht
sind.
SEHR WICHTIGER HINWEIS:
Schieben Sie niemals eine Gusseisenpfanne auf eine Induktions- oder
Halogenplatte.
Eine gusseiserne Pfanne ist sehr schwer, was bedeutet, dass Schmutz
(wie Sandkörner) unter der Pfanne relativ schnell zu Beschädigungen
und Kratzern auf der Glasplatte führen kann. Auch wenn eine
gusseiserne Pfanne mehr wiegt als eine durchschnittliche Pfanne, heben
Sie sie immer an. Auf diese Weise bleibt Ihr Glasinduktionskochfeld
länger in einwandfreiem Zustand.
