DAYLIGHT LED FLOODLIGHT

TOTA-LED USER MANUAL
2
The TOTA-LED is a portable flood light that emits 4275 lux (@ 1 m)
of flicker-free continuous light. It operates on AC or battery power,
and it draws only 70 W to deliver the equivalent output of a 750 W
tungsten bulb. This durable and road-ready light fixture produces
a bright 65° beam that’s ideal for illuminating large areas such as
ballrooms. By using the built-in barndoors, the TOTA-LED can also
be used as a background light or to increase the ambient light level
of a room.
The TOTA-LED is daylight balanced (5600 K) and with a CRI of 96.3,
it delivers excellent color accuracy. Its power output is controlled by
a stepless dimmer knob that ranges from 100% to 0% brightness.
An included diffuser softens the light, broadens the beam to 100°,
and minimizes the multiple shadows that are often associated with
LED lighting. The TOTA-LED generates minimal heat, and it allows
you to use the light throughout long events like weddings, without
overheating. The fixture can also be placed close to subjects like
models, animals, or food, without overheating them.

INSTRUCTOONS
MOUNTING THE
LIGHT POWERING THE
TOTA-LED
The TOTA-LED can be powered directly from
an AC outlet or by a V-mount battery
(not included).
Using the TOTA-LED with AC power
Important! The TOTA-LED is a multivoltage
fixture capable of running on 100–240 V, 50/60
Hz. The included cable has a 120 V, 50 Hz
(North American) plug. To use this fixture with
other voltages, you must use a plug adapter
(sold separately).
1. Connect the AC power adapter to the
dimmer control box with the 3-pin XLR
power cable, and plug the power cable into
an outlet.
The two-way 5/8-inch receiver allows the yoke
to be mounted vertically or horizontally.
Mount the yoke horizontally to use the TOTA-
LED as a flood light. (Figure A)
Mount the yoke vertically to add an umbrella
to your setup. (Figure B)
1. Make sure the tilt locking knob is fully
tightened.
2. Loosen the locking knob, and place the
5/8-inch receiver on a light stand.
3. Tighten the locking knob until secure.
4. Loosen the tilt locking knob to adjust the
angle of the light, and tighten.

INSTRUCTIONS
2. To connect the power output cable to the
TOTA-LED’s 4-pin connector, align the
internal notch and channel of the two
connectors and press the two together.

attach. Don’t use force to connect the control
box to the light fixture.
To move the control box safely out of
the way and avoid clutter:

3. Once the AC adapter is secured to the
control box, use the hanger loop to hang
the control box on a hook or on your
light stand.
Using the TOTA-LED with Battery Power
1. When attaching a V-mount battery, make
sure the power switch is in the off position,
and disconnect the AC adapter so the control
box is not plugged into a wall outlet.
2. Align the battery terminals with the contacts
in the battery mount.
3. Place the battery down into the mount, and
push the battery toward the contacts until it

INSTRUCTIONS
ADJUSTING THE
LIGHT
Brightness Control
The brightness control on the control box can
adjust the output from 100% to 0%.
Diffuser
A diffuser is included to soften and spread
the light. It will also eliminate the multiple
shadows that can be caused by the LED
array.
Insert the diffuser by sliding it into the
diffuser slots.
For a more direct light with greater contrast
and higher output, remove the diffusion filter.
Flaps
Adjust the barndoor flaps to aim the beam
and contain light spill.
Umbrella
An umbrella hole and locking knob are built
into the yoke and angled so the light will
be centered when the umbrella is added to
your setup. The yoke will accommodate an
umbrella up to 45 inches.
Gel Filters
Use the integrated gel clips on the barndoors
to hold a gel filter (not included).
Adding Light-Shaping Accessories
The 1/4-20 mounting socket is perfect for
adding a gooseneck or articulated arm
to hold accessories such as gobos, flags,
fingers, and dots.
