Fitment and Adjusting

Open the waist belt on both sides.
Put the protector on, makes sure the it is the right side around front to front (4a)
and back to back (4b). Go through steps 1- 3 in reverse to close everything up.
Be sure to check that the brace shoulder sits directly over your shoulder.
Adjust Waist Belt (1) till brace shoulder ts correctly.

Next open the neck brace by pushing the release button (1a) on the right
side of the brace (2b) and pull the brace shoulder appart.
Locate the shoulder
straps under the
shoulder cups (3a)
and pull the upper
strap away from the
bottom strap (3b)
Use help to measure from the bottom of the helmet rim to the top of the neck
brace platform (5b). The zone of optimum eectiveness is between 50 - 80 mm in
Front and 50 - 90 mm in Back (5c).

Cleaning
Wipe only with a soft cloth damped in gentle soap or mild detergent in cold
water, rinse by wiping with a soft cloth damped in cold water and dry with
a soft cloth. Common substances applied to this product (solvent, cleaners,
hair tonics, etc.) can cause damage that may be invisible to the user and
compromise the eectiveness/safety of your Leatt® protector.
Always refer to the material content label on the Fusion. None of the
materials used in the construction of the product are known to contain
anything that might cause an allergic reaction or be dangerous to health.

Storage and transportation
Place on a clean, dry surface and store in a dry, well-ventilated environment
away from direct sunlight and extremes of temperature. Do not place heavy
objects on top of your Fusion.
The protection provided by your Fusion should not be aected by non-
extreme ambient temperature and weather conditions.
Maintenance and Obsolescence
For maximum performance, your Fusion Vest 2.0 Junior must be inspected
prior to each use. Stop using the protector if any components show signs of
damage or are worn, cracked, and/or deformed, or if the inside padding has
deteriorated. Leatt® Corporation recommends that your Fusion should be
replaced every three (3) years under normal use conditions.
Should you experience a collision or if your Fusion or any component shows
any signs of damage, cracking, deformity and/or the inside padding is
deteriorating, return the product to the seller for inspection or destroy and
replace it. Please dispose of it in an environmentally-friendly manner.
Do not drill holes, paint, cut, heat, bend, apply decals or stickers, or make
any other modications to the Fusion. Doing so may compromise the
eectiveness and safety of your Leatt® product.

Testing and approval
The Leatt® Fusion Vest 2.0 Junior has been tested against the manufacturer’s
specications and EC Type - Examination certication has been issued by
RICOTEST Via Tione, 9 - 37010 Pastrengo (VR), Notied Body No. 0498. It is
CE marked to denote compliance with the EU Personal Protective Equipment
Directive 89/686/EEC.
The following European Standards have been used in the evaluation of
these products:
• EN 1621-1:2012 Motorcyclists protective clothing against mechanical
impacts - Part 1: Motorcyclists limb joint impact protection
• EN 1621-2:2003 – “Motorcyclists’ protective clothing against mechanical

Anlegen und Einstellen

Önen Sie den Hüftriemen an beiden
Seiten.
Legen Sie den Protektor an und achten Sie darauf, dass er vorne (4a) und
hinten (b) richtig anliegt. Wiederholen Sie Schritte 1-3 in umgekehrter
Reihenfolge, um alles zu schließen.
Prüfen Sie unbedingt, dass das Schulterteil der Stütze direkt über Ihrer
Schulter sitzt. Stellen Sie den Hüftriemen (1) so lange ein, bis das Schulterteil
richtig anliegt.

Önen Sie als Nächstes die Nackenstütze, indem Sie die Freigabetaste
(1a) rechts an der Stütze (2b) drücken und den Schulterteil der Stütze
auseinanderziehen.

(3a) und ziehen Sie den
oberen Riemen und den
unteren Riemen (3b)
auseinander.
Bitten Sie eine andere Person um Hilfe, um vom unteren Rand des Helms bis zum
oberen Rand der Nackenstütze (5b) zu messen. Der Bereich optimaler Eektivität
liegt zwischen 50 und 80 mm vorne und
50 bis 90 mm hinten (5c).

Reinigung
Mit einem weichen, mit milder Seife oder mildem Reinigungsmittel in kaltem
Wasser angefeuchteten Tuch abwischen, mit einem weichen, in kaltem
Wasser angefeuchteten Tuch abspülen und mit einem weichen Tuch trocken
reiben. Das Auftragen gebräuchlicher Mittel auf dieses Produkt (Lösungs-
oder Reinigungsmittel, Haarwasser, usw.) kann Schäden verursachen, die
für den Benutzer unsichtbar sind und die Wirksamkeit bzw. Sicherheit Ihres
Leatt® Protektors beeinträchtigen.
Nehmen Sie immer Bezug auf das Materialetikett an der Fusion. Keine für
die Fertigung des Produkts verwendeten Materialien enthalten irgendwelche
Substanzen, von denen bekannt ist, dass sie eine allergische Reaktion
hervorrufen oder gesundheitsschädlich sein könnten.

Transport und Aufbewahrung
Bewahren Sie das Produkt auf einer sauberen, trockenen Fläche in
einem trockenen, gut belüfteten Raum ohne direkte Sonneneinwirkung
oder extreme Temperaturschwankungen auf. Legen Sie keine schweren
Gegenstände auf Ihre Fusion ab.
Der Schutz, der Ihre Fusion Ihnen bietet, wird in der Regel nicht
durch geringfügige Schwankungen der Umgebungstemperatur und
Wetterbedingungen beeinusst.
Wartung und Veralterung
Für maximale Leistung muss Ihre Fusion Weste 2.0 vor jedem Gebrauch
untersucht werden. Benutzen Sie Ihre Fusion nicht mehr, wenn Sie Anzeichen
von Schäden oder Verschleiß, Risse und/oder Deformierungen feststellen
oder das Füllmaterial beschädigt ist. Die Leatt® Corporation empehlt, dass
Sie Ihre Fusion bei normaler Benutzung alle drei (3) Jahre ersetzen.
Sollten Sie in eine Kollision verwickelt sein oder sollte Ihre Fusion
irgendwelche Anzeichen von Schäden oder Verschleiß, Risse und/oder
Deformierungen aufweisen oder das Füllmaterial beschädigt sein, senden
Sie das Produkt zwecks Inspektion an den Händler zurück oder entsorgen
und ersetzen Sie es. Entsorgen Sie das Produkt bitte auf umweltfreundliche
Weise.
Perforieren, bemalen, schneiden, erhitzen und biegen Ihre Fusion nicht,
kleben Sie keine Sticker auf und nehmen Sie keine anderen Änderungen an
Ihrer Fusion vor. Eine derartige Vorgehensweise kann die Eektivität und
Sicherheit Ihres Leatt® Produkts beeinträchtigen.
