RAlthoughwell shielded, the KAV-250cd

shouldnot beplacednear humsensi-

tive componentssuchas preamplifier

phonostagesor turntables. Thepower

supply maycreate interference and

inducehum.

TheKAV-250cdincorporates an ad-

vancedsuspension system and does

not requireadditionalmasscouplingor

isolation. Youmayexperimentwith feet

or conesaslongastheyarenot perma-

nentlyaffixedto thechassis.Anyunau-

thorizedmodificationsto the electronics

or chassiswill voidthewarranty.

Theuseof CDrings, mats,or otherdevices

attachedto individual CDsis not recom-

mended.Thesedevices maycauseprob-

lemswith the transport mechanismresult-

Thenumbers1 through 0 are functional

with the KAV-250cd,the +10buttonis not.

digits mustbeprogrammedwithin 8 sec-

ondsof eachother.

1.5volt batteries.

1. Removethe backplateto exposethe bat-

teries.

2. Removethe old batteries.

mInstall the newbatteries, followingthe

batterypositiondiagramonthe plastic

batteryreceptacle.

4. Re-installthebackpanel.
